08:56yes in games so it's not a Sean Payton system thing no it is it's a combination all right so
09:03then it's a system then you can't overlook no no it's a system thing but it's for a quarterback
09:11that they believe has the potential it's a system designed for Bo Nix yes like you're not just dropping
09:17any quarterback into Sean it's not like a Kyle Shanahan situation that's what I'm asking no
09:22because Bo Nix uses his or he used his legs a lot they actually roll the quarterback out more than
09:28any other team in football right and Bo Nix is very very versatile in that respect whereas Jared
09:33Stidham not so much no this is like and I don't think there's ever been in this situation where it
09:40would be hard for a regular position where the last time you played was you know two years ago two years
09:49ago and it's not even like really played like or one game two years ago like when's the last time
09:54you really played consistently now you have to play consistently for the whole game and that game is an
10:02AFC championship game it could be extremely impossible for any position but at the quarterback position
10:08oh man that's a whole nother level his booty hole is gonna be so tight
10:12so I'm saying so tight he's probably like oh my god if I lose this game people are gonna be oh I I just

10:25but just to be clear how much of an advantage do they get because of the elevation and that you're

10:59you travel when you come back east or go somewhere else I feel like I can run all day so that is an issue
11:05when it comes to you know you're getting lightheaded it's like guys like Ryan Clark he
11:09couldn't go there because of uh the sickle cell yeah he couldn't go play there so it is a thing so I
11:16don't want to get any misconceptions about that it's no excuses because you're in Denver but it does
11:21affect the body and it can affect the way you play are you surprised that they're only going out on
11:25Saturday yeah I'm surprised I don't think it would I don't think it would matter like Vrabel said
11:30he said a week and a half to fully right then some people are saying 24 48 hours the closest thing
11:35that you can do is they have these masks that you put on these like elevation masks now where you
11:41run on a treadmill with them and maybe you wear them in practice or something like that and what
11:46it does it it makes it really difficult for you to breathe back in the day we used to put towels on
11:51our face yeah yeah exactly so that's the only way you can know what it feels like but it's still
11:56once you get there you're gonna be you also put towels in the uh door jam in your room
12:01I never smoked I never smoked when I played I know when it when it was coming because I wasn't
12:07getting suspended for the dumbest smart yeah I don't think that this is I honestly don't think
12:12the story is going to be Stidham sucks and they miss Bo Nix because I really because Bo Nix has been
12:18mediocre for the first three quarters most of the season right he was not good until the fourth
12:23quarter of that game against the Bills but you also got to think about it from this perspective from
12:27him they're not expecting anything that great yes it's the AFC championship yes it's to go to the
12:33Super Bowl but really if you're if you're Stidham what do I have to lose I swear it's like when I
12:40when I played against Jerry Rice when I first came in no one was expecting me what do I have to lose
12:46I'm going in there confident as hell because I'm playing against Jerry so he may ball out yeah he can
12:51come out and play you know out of his norm because he has nothing to lose people are expecting you to
12:57stink right now right their house money at home with the elevation with the best so if he wins
13:01it's all upside if he loses we we expect that you're not our starting quarterback so I think
13:08you know it should be a little bit less pressure on him when you think about it you know from from
13:13from just his position you know just being the quarterback ain't nobody expecting you do a damn
13:17thing bro right and you have Sean Payton who's a great coach this isn't like it happened in the
13:21first quarter and Stidham comes in cold they have a week to figure some kind of an offense out that
13:26they can use on Sunday exactly and again it's back to the player with the with the mental part of it
13:33he doesn't have as much pressure as we're talking about him having the pressure of going to the Super
13:39Bowl because even if he went to the Super Bowl guess what you're still supposed to lose again he's
13:44going up against a Patriots defense that's firing on all cylinders though like that that defense is
13:48being overlooked he don't stand a chance this kid don't he's he's he's he don't right but for him
13:54and how did Philip Rivers do much better than he thought he would no he's every game he's stuck
13:59he said he wouldn't throw 50 yards he was throwing checkdowns he threw 112 yards in the first game he
14:04played far better than he was not far better Greg was he better than they said he'd be he was
14:09thank you he was the only reason why he was better than we thought he was gonna be
14:13is because we set the expectations so low we're like all right maybe he'll be lucky if he throws
14:2050 yards in his first game he played he threw he threw for 112 yards there and they lost every game
14:26he played you're talking about the comp would be Nick Foles no because Nick Foles got in maybe like
14:32week 12 or something he played for the end of the season and then throughout the playoffs there's never
14:38been a comp for this where a guy basically hasn't played Hostetler I don't know what what was the

14:55game I just know he won a Super Bowl yeah so I'm saying when you're looking at this this kid hasn't
15:01played since uh 2023 where he his last game he played against he went 20 of 34 for 272 uh two
15:11yards one touchdown one interception and that was that looks like he played three games okay playoffs
15:17so maybe Hostetler's the closest thing you have bang but it's still not yeah right I mean you're
15:22talking about a guy and Hostetler go back what was Hostetler doing the year before that was he
15:26actually playing he was flipping burgers he was on the Giants but he I don't think he was actually
15:31playing all right and you know what the issue for me just becomes your your offense has struggled
15:38against these two good defenses right so you've got to be able to put the points up right like
15:44regardless of what Stidham does right but look what your defense did to Justin Herbert and CJ Stroud
15:51two guys or that we think are good quarterbacks one guy in Herbert we think is really good look what
15:59your defense did to those two guys can you imagine what your defense is going to do to a guy who
16:05hasn't played since 2023 and when he did play was basically one game or two games at the end of a
16:11season can you imagine that and then he wasn't like at least I'll give Phillip Rivers credit he was a
16:17full-time starter for 16 years Stidham hasn't been a full-time starter his whole career where was
16:23Stidham at when he did play was he in Denver uh he played uh three games in Denver then Raiders and
16:29then Raiders yeah and see yeah shame on the Patriots and we putting the pressure on them too because
16:35they have to go out there and perform so shame on them if they let the Denver Broncos and Stidham
16:41win the game I mean that that'll be that'll be the shame on on the Patriots but I feel like
16:46everybody's focused on the quarterback and nobody's talking about the defense like all we heard about was
16:49the Texans defense going into that one Denver has a good defense as well so how do you think that
16:54Drake May could do up against them you know what Drake May is gonna do what Drake May does and I
17:01think when you talk about their defense hey of course you got Pat Sertain Jr he's probably you know
17:06you know number one number two cornerback in football and I'm still not sold on them completely
17:13to be honest with you you know what I mean they they play they play they play good football but
17:18would I look at them and say they're the next coming of a Baltimore Ravens type defense they
17:23I think they're getting more hype than they're actually than actually is I mean you have some
17:27individual players that are absolutely phenomenal phenomenal but I mean as overall defense I mean
17:33they don't scare me at all they don't scare you no not at all
