00:00Where are you on, you've had some time to digest it, and whether or not there's a Cam Newton fool's gold or Adam Schein fraudulence going on here.
00:12Yeah, I like, I'm like the fraudulent thing, man. I was listening to that, you know, prior to coming on. I'm like, come on, man. I get that have to be the most asinine take that I've heard in a long time.
00:24They're fraudulent. I mean, I agree with Wiggy. Might have choked, but I think it was a teaching moment for those guys. They might have been feeling good about themselves for a little bit.
00:34I mean, they got a little dose of humble pie and Josh Allen. Let's take your hat off to Josh Allen. But now they know, you know, I know the old saying, don't pick a man when he's down, but damn it, this is football.
00:47You pick them when they're down. You're supposed to step on their neck, and they didn't do that. So I will look at that more as an inexperienced choke job than fraudulent.
00:58I just want to put that out there. I think the Patriots are the real deal, and they showed that in the first half by going up on the Buffalo Bills like that.
01:06But then again, you have Josh Allen over there. So the fraud thing, I don't buy that one.
01:11So, yeah, when it comes to that second half, is that players reading their own headlines or, you know, like, you know, joking to themselves saying, hey, we're up 24-7.
01:24We got them locked down. We don't have to worry about the second half. Is that Mike, you put that on Mike Rabel, not coaching this team well enough?
01:32Like, where are you on that?
01:33No, I think Mike is doing an excellent job, but at the same time, you know, you got a fairly, you know, young locker room.
01:40Look at your, you know, your leaders right now, and Drake May. He's still young.
01:45You know, you got a rookie running back that's going to be an all-pro running back.
01:49They don't know. You can see the body language when they're paying the sidelines sometimes.
01:53It's like, oh, we got this. We got this. No, you got to play 60 minutes. You got to play the whole game.
01:59I mean, that's Josh Allen over there. That is not, you know, that ain't Geno Smith.
02:05That's Josh Allen. So you got to keep playing. You know what I mean?
02:09And again, it's good that they do that now, and they lose now, before you do it in the playoffs.
02:17So now they know they got to keep the foot on the gas. This is playoff football right now.
02:22Yeah, you could have clinched the AFC East, but guess what? You can still do it.
02:28You can still get the winning division. So, yeah, I mean, you lost to the Buffalo Bills.
02:33I can't see them coming into New England again, because they're probably going to see each other in the playoffs,
02:39and beat them twice. I think that we have the advantage there.
02:44Ty, the thing that I look at, and you're right, it is something that it's a learning experience.
02:48And I relate it to when we played the Rams back in 2001, week 10.
02:55I was going to go there, too, Wiggy.
02:56Right, week 10. And what that game did, it showed us that we can play with the Rams,
03:04especially if we're physical and we punch them in the mouth.
03:07And I think Ty's right. This game shows, hey, when we get up, we got to stay locked in and stay focused.
03:14Let's not celebrate too early because of that guy, Josh Allen, on the other side.
03:20And I think this is a learning experience, similar to what the learning experience we got, just in a different aspect.
03:28Right. And I was going to bring that up as well, Wiggy.
03:31When we played the Rams at that time, it was like, if we ever see them again, we're going to win this game.
03:38I felt it, but I knew we would have to see it in the Super Bowl.
03:40Fortunately, we got there, and that's what happened.
03:42But I think if the Patriots now, going into the game, knowing how they got to be locked in,
03:48and mainly because of that guy, Josh Allen, because I don't think Buffalo is a great team.
03:53They have a hell of a player.
03:54They have a great player, probably the best quarterback in football.
03:57And now, you know, the whole MVP and Dre, which, you know, you tend to forget about all the great things he's doing right now
04:05because of the bigger names, and then he just lost to Josh Allen, who was seemingly taking the bills on his shoulder by his damn self.
04:14You know what I mean?
04:15That's why I said that he's probably going to have a hard time winning the MVP unless he does something so amazing that you have to do it.
04:26But until then, you know, you're going to sit there and look at the Josh Allen's of the world.
04:31I've heard some argue that if they win the division, then he's a lock for the MVP.
04:35Nah, Stafford's going to get it because Stafford's going to probably throw over 40 touchdowns,
04:40and the Rams are, you know, going to have a really good record.
04:44Stafford has never won the MVP.
04:46He's a soup.
04:47So they're going to give it.
04:48Stafford has way better weapons.
04:51It doesn't matter, though.
04:52His numbers are going to be.
04:53Yeah.
04:53He's going to have numbers.
04:54Did he want to get like four interceptions?
04:56Yeah, I think, yeah, he's got like 40-plus.
04:58He's going to end up the season with 40-plus touchdowns and under 10 interceptions.
05:02So the only way Drake May can win it is if Stafford, like, falls apart at the end of the season here
05:06and doesn't win the division.
05:07He has to win the NFC win.
05:09Right.
05:10Ty, a big disagreement we had yesterday and a big split when it came to this loss was,
05:15despite them losing, Wiggy and I don't feel any different about our expectations
05:20when it comes to this team in the postseason,
05:21whereas Greg and Curtis have a different approach.
05:26Where do you fall on that?
05:30I think they have – once you get into the playoffs, Coco,
05:32you have the goodest chance of anybody to win.
05:37It takes one game.
05:40And playoffs – it's a brand-new season.
05:42And so all the experiences they got leading up to this point is going to benefit them
05:48in the long haul, especially if you have to come through Foxboro to play.
05:51And I still think that the road through the Super Bowl has got to go through Foxboro.
05:55Yes, they had a great game out of Josh Allen, but I believe in the Patriots.
06:01I mean, who else – look, Patrick Mahomes is out.
06:04We don't know what's going on.
06:06Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh, like I said, he 100 years old.
06:09We don't know what he's going to do.
06:12Lamar Jackson, they're still on the bubble.
06:17Man, this is prime picket.
06:19There's no Joe Burrow.
06:21This is a great opportunity for anybody to step up, you know, in the AFC
06:25because, you know, your top dogs, especially being Kansas City Chiefs,
06:28they're not in there.
06:29You don't have to see Patrick Mahomes.
06:31So who's going to step up?
06:33And I think that the Patriots are in a great position to do so,
06:36especially if they can win out and win the AFC East,
06:40and now you get a home game in the playoffs.
06:43I don't know if I believe in Houston like that.
06:45I mean, they have a great defense.
06:46I love their head coach.
06:48I think those guys will run through a brick wall for the head coach.
06:53But I still say, you know, they will have to come up to New England as well.
06:58You know, and I like New England's chances.
07:01Let me get the most entertaining play of the game in brought to you by Apex
07:05Entertainment.

07:12Yeah, I mean, even one of the touchdown runs by Travion Henderson,
07:15the toss that he, you know, reverses the field and goes back or the counter early.
07:20I believe that was early third quarter where he goes for like 60 yards.
07:23Either one of those plays.
07:24Great play call from Josh McGinn.
07:25Yeah, both of those, you can take either one of those and take them both.
07:32You can pack them together.
07:33Travion Henderson, man, I mean, he's the real deal.
07:35I mean, does he, he got, he got damn near 1,000 yards now, don't he?
07:39Does he have 1,000 yards?
07:40He's at 779, I believe.
