On Thursday Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard gave instructions to charge a Tobago man of Rockly Vale Scarborough with the murder of American citizen Christopher Brown. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.

00:00A man from Rockley Vale, Scarborough, Tobago, has been charged with the murder of American citizen Christopher Brown.
00:07Instructions were given on Thursday to charge him for the capital offense.
00:12Mr. Brown was vacationing in Tobago with friends when he was stabbed in his back on Wednesday 26th to November in Kastara, Tobago,
00:21in a case of mistaken identity, according to villagers.
00:24The instructions were given by Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard.
00:30An autopsy conducted on the body of Mr. Brown on Tuesday at the Scarborough Mortuary determined death was as a result of stab wounds to the back.
00:40Tobago police were led by villagers to a concrete track off Deport Road, roadway, where Brown's body was found.
