A suspect from Signal Hill Tobago has been released while a man from Moriah Tobago who was previously hospitalised has been discharged from hospital and is expected to be charged with the murder of 22-year-old Trevon Walker.

Walker was murdered on the morning of July 29th. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.

00:00A 38-year-old man of Highlands Road, Mariah, was held on July 30th along Spring Garden, Orange Hill Road during an intelligence-led exercise by police.
00:12A man from Signal Hill, Tobago, also held during the exercise, was released last Saturday.
00:19An autopsy performed on the body of 22-year-old Trevon Walker on Tuesday revealed he died as a result of multiple gunshot booms to the body.
00:28According to police, the file in the matter would now proceed to the Director of Public Prosecutions for charges to be laid.
00:36Reports state that at around 2.30 a.m. on July 29th, Trevon Walker, 22, of Lady Smith Trace, Mariah, was driving a Silver Axio motor car along Highlands Road, Mariah, when another vehicle pulled in front of him, forcing him to stop.
00:55Walker jumped out and ran into some nearby bushes where he was pursued and shot multiple times.
01:03He died on the spot and is Tobago's fourth murder victim.
