00:00All right, as always, you can go to YouTube channel My Medical Nightmare and see 40 plus
00:07hours video on everything that happened to me. All right, heads up in the state of Tennessee
00:12and the city of Knoxville. Bad radiological doctors have set their sights on your community
00:21and they're planning on expanding their negligent operation there. I'll show here a PDF for a
00:29Health Facilities Commission application review and this is dated October 22, 2025. This proposal
00:39is for an American Health Imaging location for the city of Knoxville. The address will be 326
00:49Lovell Road, Knoxville, zip code 37934. And this is near the campus of South College Parkside.
00:59So they may be targeting young women for routine mammogram scans. Residents of this community,
01:07you must do whatever it takes to ensure the doors of this operation never open. Do not allow AHI
01:17to hang their shingle out in your area. Please look around on the internet at some of the reviews of
01:25customers and patients who have dealt with these doctors and this company. And you'll see what I'm
01:31talking about. Stay tuned for the end of this video and I'll go into my own issues with American
01:36Health Imaging. I myself was a patient and customer in 2019. I have outstanding unresolved issues from
01:46this visit. I paid this company $500 cash for an MRI. Dr. Angus Baird, MD of Birmingham Radiological
01:55Group missed major head trauma based broken skull complications and injuries that appeared in the
02:03images that I got as part of my records. I tried to go back to the doctor, his radiological organization,
02:11and American Health Imaging itself. And I was met with closed doors and dead ends. None would help me
02:21resolve my problems after they took my money. It lists here the Knoxville AHI branch is estimated
02:28at costing around $6 million US. This will be an outpatient diagnostic center. If the project is
02:36approved, it's expected to open in April 2026. They're looking for customers in Knox Blunt and
02:44Lodon counties. The proposed freestanding ODC will occupy a one-story, 4,704-square-foot building.
02:52The Appalcan American Health Imaging of Tennessee has signed an option to lease agreement with Level
02:58Point LLC for an initial 60-month term with a target rent commencement date of December 1st,
03:052025. The applicant is owned by American Health Imaging, which is ultimately owned by Luxemma
03:12Imaging Equity Hold Co. LLC. A lot of useful information in this 217-page document. Among other
03:22things, they list here that as of 2023, the average gross MRI charge per procedure for all provider types
03:33was $2,495. I did a past video on American Health Imaging giving some info from a former employee of
03:44this company, CT Tech, and they mentioned their facility was given a 15-minute window for which a scan
03:55must be processed. This individual said their location was doing 18 scans per day. All right,
04:03the viewers to my channel will be well familiar with American Health Imaging. I tried to warn people
04:10about this company, which has branched out and expanded across the Birmingham, Alabama area in
04:17recent years. I was a patient and customer of American Health Imaging in 2019. They are affiliated
04:24locally with UAB St. Vincent's, formerly Ascension, and they used doctors with Birmingham Radiological
04:33Group locally. My opinion, if you had any dealings with American Health Imaging, you need to go back
04:39and check your stuff. Double check it, triple check it. You can go look at my videos on my channel to get
04:45some ideas about some of the others involved in these scams. Do not trust American Health Imaging.
04:51Do not trust their partners. After discovering I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Angus Baird, MD, I took this
05:00matter to the CEO of Birmingham Radiological Group, which oversees around 50 doctors. They would not put
05:08me in contact with this member doctor or help me in any way to resolve my own issues. I filed a complaint
05:15against Angus Baird, stemming from my own case with Alabama Board of Medical, Examiners and Licensure
05:23Commission. That complaint was thrown out, dismissed, despite the fact that I sent in the original images,
05:30which clearly show the injury in my head, versus the written report of this doctor, which claims I have
05:38no injury. All right, so in this call, I attempt to contact radiologist Angus Baird, MD. And this doctor,
05:48he read an MRI scan that I had done at American Health Imaging in Birmingham, Alabama, May 15th, 2019.
06:01This costs $500 cash. So in this scan, I was told that no injuries appeared. However, if you look at the
06:12images, you'll see that I have signs of head trauma. And I believe that I broke a bone in the underside of
06:24my skull. That's a basilar area, occipital condyle, condylar canal region. And you may be able to see
06:32infection in this area. And the pain in this area, this is the reason that I had this MRI scan done.
06:41It was missed by this radiologist. All right, so the phone number I found, it leads to
06:48Birmingham Radiological Group. And they tell me they can't connect me directly to the doctor,
06:56and I should call American Health Imaging, where I had the MRI scan done. So here I call American
07:04Health Imaging, Birmingham, Alabama. And although I had this scan done in 2019,
07:13this receptionist tells me that they don't deal with those doctors anymore. And yeah,
07:20I wonder why. I might actually know the reason. Tells me that I will have to go through another
07:28doctor, possibly have another MRI scan. And I paid $500 for this one already in order for them to do some
07:40kind of procedure and have this scan looked at again. And yes, I do not believe the statement
07:49that I'm giving here is correct. I paid for this service, the MRI scan itself, and the radiologist
07:57report. Injuries show up in the pictures. The doctor did not acknowledge the injury. And then a bit of an
08:08argument ensues. And I was hung up on by this call agent from American Health Imaging. So
08:17prospective customers out there, clients and business partners, apparently they don't stand
08:26behind their work. Yeah, and I mean, you know, my experience dealing with this, run around and
08:32excuses. You can see everything that happened to me regarding this issue. It's on my YouTube channel,
08:40My Medical Nightmare.
08:45Thanks for calling American Health Imaging. This is Jesse. How can I help you?
08:49Yes, ma'am. I was a patient at AHI in 2019. I had an MRI scan done. I had an injury show up in an MRI
08:58and I got a doctor's report saying no injury was present. I need to try to talk to somebody about
09:04having this MRI scan looked at again, please.
09:08So your doctor will have to request that. We can't...
09:11Okay, I was told to call you guys to get in touch with the doctor. Dr. Angus Baird.
09:18He doesn't work here no more. That's an old radiologist. We don't use those radiologists anymore.
09:24So again, like the doctor that referred you or just a new doctor you're going to now, you could
09:33have them have a new MRI done and they can do a... what is that? What is it called? Yeah,
09:46they can have an addendum done.
09:47Okay, well, I have a problem with an MRI that was taken that I paid money to you guys for
09:53that I got a report. It said I had no injuries and the injury shows up in this MRI.
09:59I need to try to get in touch with that doctor, please.
10:02Okay, so what I'm telling you is you can have your doctor that referred you to...
10:07I don't need a doctor. I'm calling you guys to get in touch with a doctor directly.
10:12If you would listen, I'm trying to tell you that...
10:15Well, you have to say something intelligible first, madam.
10:19I'm trying to explain to you how you can have this done.
10:22Okay, I was told to call you guys. I was told to call you guys and you would get me in touch
10:27with a doctor.
10:29Thank you for calling American Health Imaging.
10:32To reach A-R-A-N-T-S-C-O-T-T-Press-1, the party you are trying to reach is busy and cannot take your call.
10:46Please leave a message after the tone.
10:48Hello, sir. I was a patient at American Health Imaging 2019.
10:54They had an MRI scan done.
10:56This was looked at by Birmingham Radiological Group, Dr. Angus Baird, MD.
11:03Oh, yeah, the facility was Birmingham, Alabama, American Health Imaging, downtown near UAB Hospital.
11:09So I was told in the report by this doctor that I had no injuries appear in my MRI.
11:15I knew this was not the case.
11:18I got a copy of my images, and I found out I was misdiagnosed.
11:22I had a serious head trauma and evidence of a broken skull in the area of the Bachelors Skull Region,
11:30occipital condyle, condylar canal.
11:33And I've had a lot of problems trying to contact American Health Imaging and the doctors associated
11:40to possibly have this issue addressed, acknowledged, possibly have the imagery re-read or some kind of redress in this situation.
11:52I was a self-paid patient, self-referred, $500 cash payment.
11:58And, yeah, I called American Health Imaging last week.
12:02I was hung up on in the Birmingham facility by a girl.
12:08Her name was Jessie.
12:11I tried to call AHI corporate last week.
12:13I reached a call center in India, and I was told that someone would call me back.
12:20They took down my number, and I've not been contacted on this issue.
12:25Mr. Arendt, I think you need to look into this, please.
12:29This is a very serious error.
12:32I called Birmingham Radiological Group.
12:34They tell me I've got to go through you.
12:36I've got to go through you.
