00:00London in the locker room ahead of the Packers game with Abdul Carter.
00:03Got the Pooh Shiesty mask on.
00:05It's cold out there, man.
00:06I guess we just talked about the elephant in the room, in the locker room right now.
00:11Your thoughts on Coach Dable being released and obviously Coach Mike Kafka taking over now.
00:17Yeah, it was an unfortunate situation.
00:19Obviously, being drafted here my first year, Davis being here was like, damn.
00:23But at the same time, we got to move on from it.
00:25We got a game this week.
00:27So that's what I'm trying to focus on, just focus on the game this week.
00:29What changes, I guess, not so much in the coaching, but how's Mike Kafka been so far now that he's taken over as interim head coach?
00:38He's been good.
00:39He's been a real communicator, talking to the defense, talking to the offense.
00:42Today at practice, over there in our ears and our huddles, making sure we're doing the right thing.
00:46So it's going to go so far.
00:47We just focused on the game this week.
00:49Your first year, man.
00:50You've lost Malik Nabors, Cam Scadaboo, Jackson Darts in the protocol right now.
00:54It's just been a roller coaster of emotions throughout the course of the season.
00:59One, how are you handling it?
01:01Two, what's the vibe like in the locker room going into this Packers game?
01:06Yeah, well, Armand said, you know, you've got to be next man up.
01:09But obviously, losing those guys hurt.
01:11But, you know, at the same time, everybody's here for a reason.
01:13Whoever has to step up for those guys has to step up and have to make those big plays for them.
01:17Defensively, when you guys are watching the tape, what do you think is kind of holding you guys back from being that great defense that people kind of self-proclaimed you guys to be on paper earlier, before the season?
01:31Yeah, I would just say ourselves.
01:32Everybody just got to hold themselves accountable, especially starting with myself.
01:35Once we do that as a unit, we'll start to be who we expect ourselves to be.
01:39For you, holding yourself accountable.
01:41I mean, you're like up there when it comes to leading the league and pressures.
01:44So, it's like you're doing it, you may not be getting the sack, but you're still being effective.
01:48So, how can you hold yourself accountable?
01:52Do you know what I'm saying?
01:53Like, if you're making plays, but you're not getting the sack, you're there.
01:59So, what are you saying to yourself in terms of holding yourself accountable?
02:03I just feel like my cup half full right now, like, it's a lot more I could put in.
02:06And it's a lot more I expect out of myself.
02:08So, it's like, whatever I'm doing, I know I can do more.
02:11And for us to be where we want to be, I have to do more.
02:13And I expect that within myself.
02:15So, that's what I'm working for.
02:16That's what I'm going to do.
02:17Lastly, you got Rashawn Gary and Michael Parsons coming in.
02:20You guys got the defensive line that you have.
02:22It's going to be a battle of who can get after the quarterback.
02:25How do you guys come out of this one with a win?
02:27And how do you guys put together your best defensive performance of the season against the Packers on Sunday?
02:33Just everybody doing their job, playing with 100% effort.
02:36And then just, you know, everything that we've done in the positive, we have to keep doing those things and stay consistent in those things.
02:42Once we do that, you know, the standard is our standard.
