02:38A reading from the book of the prophet
02:40Ezekiel.
02:42The angel brought me back to the entrance
02:44of the temple, and I saw
02:46water flowing out from beneath the threshold
02:48of the temple toward the east.
02:51For the facade of the temple
02:52was toward the east.
02:55The water flowed down from the southern
02:56side of the temple, south of
02:58the altar. He led
03:00me outside by the north gate
03:02and around to the outer gate
03:04facing the east, where I saw
03:07water trickling from the southern
03:08side. He said
03:10to me, this water
03:12flows into the eastern district
03:14down upon the Araba
03:16and empties into the sea,
03:18the salt waters, which makes it
03:20fresh. Wherever
03:22the river flows, every sort
03:24of living creature that can multiply
03:26shall live,
03:28and there shall be abundant
03:30fish. For wherever this
03:32water comes, the sea shall be
03:34made fresh.
03:36Along both banks of the river,
03:38fruit trees of every kind shall grow.
03:41Their leaves shall not
03:42fade, nor their fruit fail.
03:45For every month they
03:46shall bear fresh fruit,
03:48for they shall be watered by the flow
03:50from the sanctuary.
03:52Their fruit shall serve for food
03:54and their leaves for medicine.
03:56The word of the Lord.
03:58Thanks be to God.
04:05The waters of the river
04:08gladdened the city of God,
04:13the holy dwelling of the Most High.
04:20The waters of the river
04:24gladdened the city of God,
04:29the holy dwelling of the Most High.
04:35God is our refuge
04:39and our strength
04:41and ever-present
04:43help in distress.
04:48Therefore we fear not
04:50though the earth be shaken
04:52and mountains plunging
04:55to the depths of the sea.
04:59The waters of the river
05:04gladdened the city of God,
05:09the holy dwelling of the Most High.
05:17There is a stream whose runlets
05:20gladdened the city of God,
05:24the holy dwelling of the Most High.
05:30God is in its midst,
05:32God is in its midst,
05:33it shall not be disturbed.
05:36God will help it
05:38at the break of dawn.
05:43The waters of the river
05:47gladdened the city of God,
05:51the holy dwelling of the Most High.
05:59The Lord of hosts is with us.
06:04Our stronghold is the God of Jacob.
06:11Come, behold the deeds of the Lord,
06:16the astounding things He has wrought on earth.
06:22The waters of the river
06:26gladdened the city of God,
06:31the holy dwelling of the Most High.
06:38A reading from the first letter
06:40of St. Paul to the Corinthians.
06:43Brothers and sisters,
06:45you are God's building.
06:47According to the grace of God
06:49given to me,
06:50like a wise master builder,
06:53I laid a foundation,
06:54and another is building upon it.
06:57But each one must be careful
06:59how he builds upon it,
07:01for no one can lay a foundation
07:03other than the one that is there,
07:06namely, Jesus Christ.
07:09Do you not know that you are
07:11at the temple of God,
07:12and that the Spirit of God
07:13dwells in you?
07:15If anyone destroys God's temple,
07:18God will destroy that person.
07:21For the temple of God,
07:23which you are,
07:24is holy.
07:26The word of the Lord.
07:28Thanks be to God.
07:30Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia,
07:45Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
08:00I have chosen and consecrated this house, says the Lord,
08:08that my name may be there forever.
08:19Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
08:30The Lord be with you.
08:34And with your spirit.
08:36A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
08:40Glory to you, Lord.
08:43Since the Passover of the Jews was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
08:49He found in the temple area those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves,
08:55as well as the money changers seated there.
08:57He made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple area
09:03with the sheep and oxen and spilled the coins of the money changers
09:07and overturned their tables.
09:09And to those who sold doves, he said,
09:12Take these out of here and stop making my father's house a marketplace.
09:18His disciples recalled the words of scripture,
09:21Zeal for your house will consume me.
09:26At this, the Jews answered and said to him,
09:29What sign can you show us for doing this?
09:33Jesus answered and said to them,
09:36Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
09:40The Jews said,
09:42This temple has been under construction for 46 years,
09:47and you will raise it up in three days?
09:51But he was speaking about the temple of his body.
09:56Therefore, when he was raised from the dead,
09:58his disciples remembered that he had said this,
10:01and they came to believe the scripture
10:03and the word Jesus had spoken.
10:07The Gospel of the Lord.
10:09Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ.
10:12Profess our faith with as much volume as you can.
10:15I believe in one God.
10:17I believe in one God.
10:18May God have heard of all things visible and invisible.
10:24I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ.
10:26The only begotten Son of God.
10:29Born of the Father before all ages.
10:31God from God, light from light, true God from true God.
10:36Begotten, not made,
10:38consubstantial with the Father.
10:40Through him all things were made.
10:42For us men, for our salvation,
10:44he came down from heaven,
10:46and by the Holy Spirit,
10:48was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
10:50and became man.
10:52For our sake he was crucified on the conscious fire.
10:55He suffered death and was buried,
10:58and rose again on the third day,
11:00in accordance with the scriptures.
11:02He ascended into heaven,
11:04and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
11:06He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
11:10and his kingdom will have no end.
11:13I believe in the Holy Spirit,
11:15the Lord, the giver of life,
11:17who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
11:20who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
11:23who has spoken through the prophets.
11:26I believe in one holy, Catholic, and apostolic church.
11:30I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
11:33and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
11:37and life of the world to come.
11:39Amen.
11:39For all veterans,
11:42that the Lord may bless and reward them for their sacrifice.
11:45Let us pray to the Lord.
11:47Lord, hear our prayers.
11:49For the renewal of the church in holiness,
11:51that the Holy Spirit may guide all of our lives.
11:54Let us pray to the Lord.
11:56Lord, hear our prayers.
11:58That our church will be respected, honored,
12:00and held in holiness by all our members.
12:03Let us pray to the Lord.
12:05Lord, hear our prayers.
12:06That the imitation of the saints
12:09will be a constant desire of all of us.
12:12Let us pray to the Lord.
12:13Lord, hear our prayers.
12:15For our deceased relatives and friends,
12:18and all the departed,
12:19that they may be gathered into the eternal joy
12:22of their heavenly home,
12:23and rest in the peace of Christ.
12:25Let us pray to the Lord.
12:27Lord, hear our prayers.
12:29And for all the prayers that we hold
12:30in the silence of our hearts.
12:36Let us pray to the Lord.
12:40Lord, hear our prayers.
12:43Almighty God, we thank you
12:44for our one holy Catholic and apostolic church.
12:48We thank you for Jesus who established the church.
12:51May we always be united with our Holy Father
12:53and with each other,
12:55through Christ our Lord.
12:57Amen.
12:57Amen.
12:57Amen.
12:57Amen.
12:58Amen.
12:59Amen.
12:59Amen.
12:59Amen.
12:59Amen.
13:00Amen.
13:00Amen.
13:01Amen.
13:06Amen.
13:32Amen.
13:34Amen.
13:34Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
13:50May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy church.
13:59Accept, we pray, O Lord, the offering made here, and grant that by it those who seek your favor may receive in this place the power of the sacraments and the answer to their prayers, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
14:17The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Let's give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right and just.
14:26It is truly right and just. Our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks.
14:32Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God.
14:37For in your benevolence, you have pleased to dwell in this house of prayer in order to perfect us as the temple of the Holy Spirit, supported by the perpetual help of your grace and resplendent with the glory of a life acceptable to you.
14:53Year by year you sanctified the church, the bride of Christ, foreshadowed invisible buildings, so that rejoicing as the mother of countless children, she may be given her place in your heavenly glory.
15:08And so with the angels and saints, we praise you as without end we acclaim.
15:14Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy
16:14There's one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
16:23There's about 45,000 different Christian denominations.
16:27And there's far more Catholics in the world than there are non-Catholic Christians.
16:32Some 1.4 billion.
16:34And St. Ignatius in the year 108 wrote to the churches about the importance of unity, he said.
16:42Take care then to use one Eucharist, so that whatever you do, you do according to God.
16:49For there is one flesh, our Lord Jesus Christ.
16:52For there is one cup in the union of his blood.
16:55One altar, as there is one bishop with the priests.
16:59You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
17:04Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sinning down your spirit upon them like the dewfall,
17:10so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
17:14At the time he was betrayed and interdwelling into his passion, he took bread and giving thanks broke it,
17:21and gave it to his disciples, saying,
17:24Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
17:31In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice,
17:41and what's more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
17:45Take this, all of you, drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood,
17:49the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
17:52which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
17:59Do this in memory of me.
18:01The mystery of faith.
18:09The mystery of faith.
18:16Name us, Savior of the world,
18:23For by your cross and resurrection,
18:28You have set us free.
18:36Save us, Savior of the world,
18:45For by your cross and resurrection,
18:51You have set us free.
18:58Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
19:05we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
19:08giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and ministered to you.
19:12Humbly, we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
19:16we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
19:18Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
19:23together with Leo, our Pope, Lewis, our Bishop, and all your people.
19:29Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection
19:34and all who have died in your mercy.
19:36Welcome them into the light of your face.
19:39Have mercy on us all, we pray,
19:41that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
19:43Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
19:45with the blessed apostles,
19:47and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
19:50we may merit to be coerced to eternal life
19:53and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
19:59Through him and with him and in him,
20:02O God Almighty Father,
20:03in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
20:05all glory and honour is yours forever and ever.
20:09Amen.
20:14Amen.
20:18Amen.
20:19Look at the crucifix now.
20:39Remember, that's how much God loves you.
20:41Let us pray from the heart.
20:43Our Father, who art in heaven,
20:46hallowed be thy name.
20:48Thy kingdom come.
20:49Thy will be done.
20:51Honour as it is done.
20:53Give us this day our daily bread.
20:56And forgive us our trespasses.
20:59And we forgive those who trespass against us.
21:02And lead us not into temptation,
21:05but deliver us from evil.
21:07Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
21:08from every evil.
21:09Graciously grant peace in our days,
21:11that by the help of your mercy,
21:12we may be always free from sin
21:14and safe from all distress,
21:16as we await the blessed hope
21:18and the coming of our Saviour,
21:19Jesus Christ.
21:21For the kingdom,
21:22the power,
21:22and the glory are yours,
21:24now and forever.
21:25Lord Jesus Christ,
21:26who said to your apostles,
21:27peace I leave you,
21:28my peace I give you.
21:29Look not on our sins,
21:31but on the faith of your church,
21:32and graciously grant her peace and unity.
21:34in accordance with your will,
21:37who live and reign forever and ever.
21:39Amen.
21:40Peace of the Lord be with you always.
21:42And with your spirit.
21:44Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
21:46Peace to God.
22:18The sins of the world have mercy on us.
22:29Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
22:40Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
22:58Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
23:01Lord, I am not worthy that you should take under my roof,
23:05but only say the word and my soul shall forgive you.
23:09May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life.
23:13My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
23:18I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
23:23Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
23:26come at least spiritually into my heart.
23:29I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
23:34Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
23:38Bow your heads and pray in silence.
23:41O God who chose to foreshadow for us the heavenly Jerusalem through the sign of your church on earth,
23:50grant we pray that by our partaking of this sacrament we may be made temples of your grace
23:57and may enter the dwelling place of your glory through Christ our Lord. Amen.
24:03The Mass has ended. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.
24:14Thanks be to God.
24:15Thank you for coming.
