00:00The chains.
00:00We'll take a bullseye.
00:01That was an easy one.
00:02Just dart it right there.
00:04Look at the kind of pace that football.
00:06I love the spin.
00:06It just means he's super decisive.
00:10Oh, yeah, he drops back.
00:11Look at those eyes locked in, reading the coverage.
00:15Boom, just painted on his chest.
00:17Some pressure from Hunt.
00:30Dart throws on the run incomplete.
00:32I think the other impressive thing about Dart, as you think about it,
00:37he's done this without Malik Nabors.
00:39That's a great point.
00:39Dart's first start, Nabors got hurt.
00:41So he hasn't even had that in his arsenal.
00:43Well, yeah, now in this situation with four minutes left in the game,
00:46excuse me, in the third quarter, and you're down 14,
00:49it becomes a passing game at this point.
00:51This is where you need your wide receiver one neighbors to be in there,
00:55to have the production.
00:57If you're up 24-10, it's less important.
00:59If you're down 24-10, it's very important,
01:01because the game transitions to a passing game,
01:04and that's when you need your passing threats.
01:06Devin Singletary in the game and running back now.
01:10A little zone read.
01:10They will give it to him.
01:11Racing up the middle, he goes for a short game.
01:14Well, we're going to tell you about a little World Series.
01:17We got some action here.
01:18Game three is tomorrow night at Dodger Stadium.
01:211-1 Blue Jays offense romped in game one.
01:24Yamamoto the complete game for the Dodgers game two.
01:27So we got a little juice.
01:28Dodgers going for back to back.
01:29Blue Jays haven't won since Joe Carter's walk off in 1993.
01:34There you go.
01:34That'll sum it up.
01:36Third and seven, Giants.
01:50And flags fly everywhere.
01:58False start.
01:59Offense, number 74.
02:02Five-yard penalty.
02:04Third down.
02:04That's at the worst possible time.
02:06It's the right guard, Greg Van Roten.
02:09Sometimes you line up against Jalen Carter,
02:11he'll do that to you.
02:12Oh, he's, that's a very intimidating guy to line up next to him.
02:14Oh God, he knows we're throwing.
02:16What do we do?
02:16Let me get a head start.
02:17Let me just jump.
02:18Oh, no.
02:20I need all the advantage I can get.
02:31Third and 12.
02:41Four-man rush.
02:42Oh, Dart in trouble.
02:43Steps away.
02:44Floats one.
02:44Has a man.
02:45It is caught by Johnson.
02:47And he's got a first down.
02:49Oh, great awareness by Dart to get out and find his tight end and keep the drive alive.
02:54Oh, yeah.
02:55Now instead of hitting that three iron that he hit
02:57on the earlier third down completion, this is like a little lob wedge.
03:03Drop it over the top with a little backspin.
03:06Drop it in there like a butterfly with sore legs.
03:10Right to Johnson.
03:11Perfect.
03:11I've never heard that before.
03:12Oh, it fits.
03:15Grenade Tinker set.
03:17That was pretty.
03:18And the run game gets absolutely destroyed.
03:21Cooper Dejean came in from the corner spot.
03:24I know you love Dejean.
03:26I can't say enough about him.
03:28And he started obviously a rookie last year.
03:31They tried to make him a safety.
03:33Realized, no, he's probably more of a nickel.
03:35Phenomenal rookie season.
03:37And then now he's playing perimeter corner.
03:40I watch him every week and I'm more impressed.
03:42His physicality at the line of scrimmage, strength, quickness, long speed.
03:47He can do it all.
03:48This guy is an absolute stud.
03:50What a steal by Howie Roseman in last year's draft.
03:53Eagles come with a blade start.
03:54Sees it.
03:55Gets rid of the far side.
03:56Wandale Robinson makes the catch.
03:58It'll bring up third down against this Vic Fangio defense.
04:02And they played the Giants two weeks ago.
04:04It was like nonstop blitz, nonstop man coverage, which they don't normally do.
04:08Today, they haven't blitzed nearly as much.
04:10And they played way more zone.
04:11So he's totally changed the game plan.
04:12Totally adaptable coach and he wants to put his players in the best position at seed.
04:17And we talked to coach Sirianni.
04:18He said, you don't coach for like 90 decades that he has and not been adaptable coach.
04:23He has done that this season.
04:24He's done an exceptional job getting them to this point.
04:27I got it, I got it, I got it.
04:33Third and seven.
04:35Going, looking, floating, has a man and it is caught.
04:41Wow, Devin Singletary reached down and get it and the drive continues.
04:46Another third down conversion.
04:48Love this play call by Brian Dable.
04:50We used to call this a Staubach route.
04:54All these linebackers are used to these running backs running four yards route, four yard routes.
04:59Now he comes out of the backfield, kind of gives it a little shimmy at four yards and then boom,
05:04down the red line.
05:05Linebackers aren't expecting it.
05:06Huge play and another great conversion.
05:09You've seen Dart with the howitzer on this drive.
05:11You've seen him with the touch.
05:13First and ten.
05:14Here is Dart.
05:15Pressuring his face and just going to throw that one away.
05:18Back to that conversion on the plate of Singletary for 28.
05:22These linebackers, they're used to covering just four or five yard routes.
05:26They're not into covering these downfield throws.
05:28So that little hesitation stutter step freezes Dean long enough to get the separation down the field.
05:34Kind of a C throw by Dart, but an A plus catch by Singletary.
05:40Good adjustment there.
05:41Yeah, that's better if that's more thrown better with a little more arc and pace.
05:46You know, that's one that you can actually score a touchdown on.
05:48Yeah.
05:49Tyrone Tracy back in second and ten.
05:53Last minute of this third quarter.
05:56Dart on the fake and he threw that.
05:58It's incomplete.
06:00Little indecisive.
06:01I think he tried to get it to Theo Johnson and there's a flag on the far sideline about the eight yard line.
06:08Signal is on New York.
06:12Downfield maybe.
06:12Yeah.
06:15Jameis Winston trying to plead his case.
06:20Jameis always has a few extra things to say.
06:23Never at a loss for words.
06:25No, but I love his.
06:29Not quite youthful energy, but energy always positive.
06:31The teammates great for Jackson to have in that room along with Russell Wilson is mentors to dart.
06:37As he's going through this rookie season.
06:39Offense number 76.
06:40That penalty has declined.
06:42The result of the play is a third down.
06:46Well, they get John Runyon, the left guard.
06:49But the Eagles will decline it to make it a third down, which the Giants have converted the last two on this drive.
06:56Down by 14 points.
06:57This is, you would think, touchdown land for them.
07:00Yeah.
07:02Four down territory.
07:03His field is very compressed.
07:05You've got to look for your big targets.
07:07Theo Johnson being one with the vertical separation.
07:10He could find if he's not double covered.
07:15Eagles show blitz.
07:16They come with it.
07:17Dart in trouble.
07:18Gets away.
07:19Then drilled.
07:20Jalex Hunt has had a big day, and he gets home.
07:26Oh.
07:31What a pass rush.
07:32Nothing Dart could do here.
07:34This is just a meeting at the quarterback.
07:37Look at this.
07:38The explosiveness, the burst to get off the line of scrimmage, and then
07:42Dart does a great job stepping through it.
07:44But then Hunt just folds back underneath, and even the awareness to go for the punch.
07:49These guys are taught so well.
07:52So well coached at the defensive line.
07:54They're looking to knock the ball at the quarterback's sack of whatever it takes.
07:57Well, that sack makes a decision for Brian Dable easy.
08:00They're going to kick the field goal 34 yards.
08:0234 yards up and good.
08:04Jalex Hunt, nine pressures and a sack today.
08:06Giants get on the board, but not what they wanted.
08:10Back here in Philadelphia, it's been a very, very physical affair.
08:13Injury update on the Giants side.
08:15Cam Scadaboo carted off earlier.
08:17He is now being evaluated at a local hospital with that very tough lower leg injury.
08:21The ankle.
08:22Cordell Flott out with a concussion.
08:24We saw from the friendly fire there at Daniel Bellinger.
08:27Questionable with a neck.
08:28So a depleted Giants side here continuing to fight, KB.
08:32Tom, that's really tough.
08:33Obviously, the Scadaboo injury was devastating.
08:35But you come and you get three-fourths of your starting secondary out
08:40as you're trying to make a stand.
08:41Still a two-score game down by 11.
08:44Eagles will take it out with Shipley.
08:45He's had a good return day.
08:47This time, though, stacked up before the 30.
08:51Today's next-gen stats powered by AWS.
08:53How about Jalen Hurts dissecting man coverage?
08:55Man-to-man is going to Devontae Smith.
08:58Look, A.J. Brown, when he's in there, is obviously electric.
09:00But Devontae Smith rises to the occasion.
09:02This one's one-on-one with Barkley.
09:05They totally blow this to Giants' defense.
09:07That's a miscommunication.
09:08And then this, the red area target on Goddard.
09:11Length, size, good matchup there on Nubin.
09:15Very good job identifying where your best matchups are,
09:19and then you go to them.
09:20KWS AI, how the NFL levels up the game.
09:24Final 10 seconds of this third quarter.
09:26Here is Barkley sprinting through.
09:38Saquon Barkley shoved out the bounce.
09:43And that didn't look great at the end of that run there.
09:47Shaking his head.
09:49Oh, no.
09:5028-yard run, but now concern for Barkley on the injury side.
09:54Looks like he came up a little lame.
09:56Hopefully he's okay.
09:57End of three in Philly.
10:02Watch the grimace at the end of this from Saquon.
10:05That is not great.
10:08He's in the tent now being evaluated.
10:10He's having a monster day.
10:12150 yards rushing and a touchdown, a receiving touchdown too.
10:16And hope that's not too serious.
10:18Good news for the Eagles is they have a bye next week.
10:20But obviously, hope he's okay.
10:25And so Tank Bigsby will take over for him.
10:27We start the fourth quarter.
10:28Eagles up by 11.
10:30First and 10.
10:32Playing the Giants for the second time in three weeks.
10:34Giants got him up in New Jersey two weeks ago.
10:37Eagles trying to return the favor.
10:39Here is a play fake.
10:41Pressure on Hurts.
10:42He's in trouble way back there.
10:43Hurts is going to be dropped for a monster loss.
10:47Brian Burns has his third straight game with two sacks.
10:53That was relentless from the Giants.
10:55It's decent pass protection to start.
10:59But it's just a relentless effort by this Giants defensive line.
11:02They're trying to cage rush him.
11:04They end up getting Nubin to come in there to kind of flash.
11:06And then Burns there to clean it up.
11:09And I've always referenced watching Jalen Hurts play.
11:12I always think he's at his best when the ball comes out of his hands pretty quickly.
11:16Hits his back foot.
11:17Makes a clean read and throws.
11:19When he holds on to it a long time.
11:21A lot of volatility in that.
11:26Second and 31 if you're losing 21.
11:28I'm just going to run it this time to Bigsby.
11:30Who still on his feet.
11:32Tank Bigsby's got a first down.
11:35How in the world.
11:36On second and 31.
11:39Do you give that up?
11:41Oh so much.
11:43I would just call it bad defense and bad tackling.
11:46It really haunted them last year.
11:48This is just a simple get back on track play for the Eagles.
11:52But Mua Sal comes in.
11:54Take bad angles.
11:56Can't get him on the ground.
11:58And you go from pinning him back after a great sack.
12:02To just a simple handoff and break that off.
12:05That is.
12:08Very symbolic of few of the things that have gone wrong today for this club.
12:12They're going to run it again.
12:13Why not Bigsby.
12:15And strong run up the middle as we go downstairs to Aaron with Saquon Aaron.
12:20Well the good news is Saquon Barkley didn't spend much time in that blue tent guys.
12:24He kind of popped his head out a couple of times asking what's the situation.
12:27He wasn't happy to see how far back the Eagles offense was but he saw Bigsby in that run.
12:32Now he's over there on the sidelines holding that helmet.
12:34No word about what's going on with that hamstring.
12:37We'll let you know.
12:38All right.
12:38We'll keep an eye on that.
12:39Thanks EA as always.
12:41So the Giants today did a great job on the Eagles two weeks ago.
12:44They held him to 3.8 yards a carry.
12:47Today they've held them to 9.8 yards a carry.
12:50A little different.
12:52Second and three.
12:52He'll Shipley in the game.
12:55Shipley right up the gun.
12:58He's got a first down.
12:59The Eagles are staying with that ground game.
13:01Why not?
13:01It's worked.
13:03Tom it's interesting when you look at the Eagles.
13:05They're five and two.
13:06I think kind of like Saquon everyone expects them to just beat everyone by a hundred points
13:10every week and everything to be picture perfect.
13:11But I think the beauty of them is they just win no matter how it looks.
13:16No matter how they do it.
13:17No matter if they throw it a million times or run it a million times.
13:19Yeah they're five and two.
13:20Two tough losses.
13:22They felt like the sky was falling when they lost two straight because they'd won so many in a row.
13:27And then all we did when we talked to Sirianni was like look there's so many distractions every
13:31week that can limit our prep.
13:32Let's just eliminate those.
13:34Get back to our process.
13:35Playing good football.
13:36Coaching well.
13:37And they've done that.
13:38Here's Bigsby who is getting a little time with the Barkley injury running hard.
13:43He's going to pick up a few more there.
13:45I'm going to give coach Sirianni a ton of credit because he's kind of this CEO type role where
13:51he's delegated offensive play calling to Petulo like it was with Kellen Moore.
13:55But he has a big influence and he can always kind of go to the side of the ball that he
13:59thinks needs a little more attention.
14:00He's so fiery, competitive, high level of expectation, incredible record as a winner,
14:06as a coach.
14:07And they continue to find ways to win with this team in different ways.
14:12And that's the most impressive part.
14:19Hurts on the keeper.
14:20Oh, he's got a man wide open and he's got her to walks in.
14:24Touchdown number two for him and for Philly.
14:31Just simple misdirection.
14:42The cover guy, O'Kara Kay, has to cover across.
14:46And he reads it, but Smith kind of gets in the way, a little bit of a rub.
14:52And that's all it takes in man coverage when your defender falls on the ground.
14:56And that vision by Hurts outside the pocket again with his right throwing arm.
15:00Easy pitch and catch.
15:02Extra point up and good.
15:04Jalen Hurts, a three touchdown day again.
15:08And it's Dallas Goddard for the second time today.
15:10The Eagles opening up their biggest lead.
15:13Got a little handshake going too.
15:26Very artsy.
15:28I love that shot in the booth.
15:29Great look here in Philadelphia.
15:31Always so awesome to come here on a perfect day.
15:35And the defending champs looking good today after a big win in Minnesota last week,
15:39which ended a two game losing streak.
15:41Well, they've kind of just done a little bit of everything today.
15:43A little run game.
15:44Jalen Hurts playing great again.
15:45Everyone contributing.
15:46Dallas Goddard two touchdowns.
15:48Hurts has three.
15:49And the defense doing their thing.
15:53Holding the Giants to 182 total yards so far with 1117 to go.
16:00Giants will need to hurried up just a little bit.
16:05Oh, Singletary on the return up across the 30.
16:10He goes.
16:12Interesting.
16:13They played two weeks ago, right, Tom?
16:14And it was a completely different thing from Vic Fangio.
16:18All he did was blitz, blitz, blitz.
16:19They paid man.
16:20And two weeks later, it's like a different team.
16:22Zone, not blitzing as much.
16:24Quite a change in two weeks.
16:25Big schematic change.
16:26He wasn't going to go in and let the same thing happen to what happened last time.
16:29So, what's that zone defense allowed him to do today?
16:33It forces Dar to have to actually read the coverage post-snap.
16:36He can't see his skates.
16:37Man, let me just throw it.
16:38Now it's zone.
16:39Okay, where are my open guys?
16:41Forcing him to hold the ball a bit longer to make his read.
16:44And then the last part is when he decides to scramble,
16:47all the eyes and vision are on him when he runs.
16:50All three of those things have really caged this Giants offense
16:53from what it was in week six.
16:54Trying to get Tracy outside and there's not much there.
16:57Yeah, I mean, the run game has been such a big part for Dart.
16:59He's only got 14 yards rushing today.
17:02Vic Fangio, the wizard.
17:03And I find that so interesting because when you think of him,
17:07everybody always thinks of the zone defense and no explosive plays.
17:10And they have played way differently this year,
17:13partly because personnel is a little different.
17:15Personnel, scheme changes, opposing strengths.
17:18He does it all.
17:19And he's got enough defense in there.
17:21And he's got the caliber of players to adjust week to week as well.
17:24Dart's in trouble.
17:26Sting throws it up there.
17:28It's incomplete.
17:29Is it a fumble?
17:29No ruling.
17:30Eagles jump on it.
17:32And they've got it.
17:34Fumble recovered by Philadelphia and Jordan Davis.
17:45Josh O'Shea got the strip sack.
17:51Campbell's got him around the legs.
17:53O'Shea's got him from behind really close here.
17:59Yeah.
18:00Dean, what do you think?
18:02So it's the hand starting forward with control.
18:05This is really tight.
18:06They ruled it a fumble.
18:08I don't think that hand is fully going forward yet.
18:10Yeah.
18:11But it is ruled a turnover.
18:12They'll look at it.
18:14And if they think they're going to change it, they'll stop it.
18:16The previous play is under review.
18:17So tight.
18:19Definitely looks like a fumble when I saw it on the plan.
18:23O'Shea with relentless effort.
18:25Campbell.
18:26Everyone coming to life.
18:31A little banana-rama to break.
18:33Knock it out.
18:34Mix it up.
18:34Why not?
18:35Well, in commercial, they overturned this.
18:41I have no idea how you could say this is definitive evidence the arm is going forward.
18:44Dean Blandino, you want to do something for me here?
18:47What do you got?
18:48The hand has to start forward with control.
18:51Any distance.
18:52And that is, if it is, it's a couple of centimeters.
18:56Maybe some millimeters, KB.
18:58So we're measuring in millimeters now.
19:02Apparently.
19:03But remember, there's no more tuck rule as I don't want to bring up a sore subject, Tommy.
19:07Yeah, somewhere John Gruden's just watching this game, punching air right now.
19:10Charles Woodson's in the studio.
19:11I mean, sorry, Charles.
19:12Sid and Lorde.
19:13Be respectful.
19:19Giants get it back.
19:19They've had so many third and longs today.
19:22In fact, nine of ten have been third and long.
19:24Blitz starred in deep trouble.
19:32Slides away.
19:33He is swarmed and dropped again.
19:37Season high fifth sack for the Eagles.
19:40It's Moro Ajumma with the flex.
19:44Just a suffocating pass rush.
19:48There's just nowhere to go.
19:49Five-man rush.
19:52Vaughn adds on.
19:52But they just can't match up one-on-one on the inside.
19:56This pass rush is going to win.
19:58O'Shea on it.
20:01Tremendous effort.
20:02Yeah, Eagles have had pass rush issues this year.
20:05And they're really injured at edge right now.
20:07So impressive.
20:08With a season-high five sacks.
20:11Fourth and 11.
20:12Giants got to go.
20:20Dart going to go deep.
20:22Far side.
20:23It's caught.
20:24Slayton still on his feet.
20:26Darius Slayton to the house.
20:28There's a penalty.
20:29Hang on.
20:30A penalty flag.
20:33And let's see.
20:34This is right at the catch point.
20:36And Slayton may have pushed off.
20:39Pass interference.
20:40Offense.
20:41Number 18.
20:43Ten-yard penalty for the previous spot.
20:46Fourth down.
20:51Brian's eagle does not look like he's in a good place right now.
20:54They push the coverage the other way.
20:55And it leaves Mitchell one-on-one.
20:57And it's a little extension on the low hip.
21:00And they are hand fighting.
21:03So that hand fighting.
21:05Yeah, there's a little extension of the arm is what the ref sees.
21:10They've been hand fighting all day.
21:12You could see why Slayton's pointed.
21:15They always kind of say do business as business is being done.
21:18And if you're a receiver and you're getting held a little bit, well, then you want to push a little bit.
21:22And there's definitely a little hand fighting.
21:26I don't know if enough to be called.
21:28How many millimeters was that, Dean?
21:31I think Tom hit it on the nail on the head.
21:33There's a lot of hand fighting going on.
21:35Usually you let that go.
21:38All right.
21:39Enjoyable day for both coaches.
21:44Yeah, a fair cast call for by the Eagles.
21:46Wow.
21:47I mean, that's, that is tough to take that off the board.
21:51Brian Dable looks like he's going to have an aneurysm.
21:54Can't say I blame him.
21:59For the Eagles, a lot of stars.
22:00Jalen Hurts playing really well.
22:02So efficient.
22:02Barkley had his breakout game of the season.
22:05See those numbers.
22:06Unfortunately, he left with a groin injury, as Aaron told us.
22:09Dallas got her.
22:10Two catches, two touchdowns.
22:11He's now got a career-high seven on the year.
22:15And so Barkley watching.
22:18A couple of suspect calls on the last drive affecting both teams.
22:22But the bottom line is the Eagles will get it back.
22:28We're going to run it to Bigsby.
22:29Gets on the outside and tank.
22:31Bigsby has a nice run and he's near a first down marker.
22:34Let's go back to the previous play there.
22:37Yeah, some different nuances you're seeing from this defense.
22:39Right now, this looks like a two-on-one coverage here on Slayton.
22:43But on the snap of the ball, Blankenship's eyes.
22:46And they do this a lot with Mitchell to the boundary.
22:48They leave him one-on-one.
22:50They want to get all this coverage over to the front side.
22:53It's a really nice read by Dart to recognize that and understand that's where his one-on-one matchup is.
23:00Of course, the Eagles are trying to force the one-on-one matchup to their best corner,
23:03Quinion Mitchell.
23:04But you see Slayton frustrated by the fact that he finally beats him on a route
23:09and then gets called for the penalty.
23:11Interesting.
23:12Eagles go jumbo here and his Bigsby racing to the outside.
23:17I'll tell you what, sub it in for Barkley.
23:18He looks good.
23:20But the story today, a couple of injuries and the one for the Giants was just terrible.
23:25Cam Skadaboo, who has been just a jolt of lightning for this organization,
23:29a gruesome lower leg injury.
23:32And Saquon Barkley, you know, that groin that he tweaked there, you can see.
23:37And the Eagles have a bye next week.
23:39That'll help him.
23:40But you hope that is not a longer-term thing.
23:42Bigsby again.
23:53Oh, big hole, big hole.
23:56First down and then some into Giants territory.
23:58Down to the 44.
24:00He goes.
24:01Now the Eagles got him from the Jags after week one.
24:03They got him to improve their kick return game.
24:05He didn't do that.
24:07They've had multiple guys in that kick return role,
24:09at least until Shipley got back from injury.
24:12And he's a guy who's got some pretty good numbers.
24:14He had a career-high 766 rush yards for the Jags last year.
24:18It's seven touchdowns and getting a little run today.
24:20He's already up to eight carries and 87 yards.
24:23Yeah, and him and Saquon, I think this whole offensive line,
24:25they've come out today and showed everyone.
24:26We still got some juice in this run game.
24:29Now they're going to the bye week with some momentum,
24:31gaining some confidence in what they're doing in that area of the offense.
24:35Huge for the second half of the season.
24:37Here is Shipley who falls down.
24:40I mean, they've got 262 rushing yards today.
24:42That is well more than the last three weeks combined.
24:45And Coach Sirianni, as well as Coach Dable,
24:47when we talked to him this week, they said,
24:49we've got to make it a physical game.
24:50Turnovers, physicality.
24:52Both guys were kind of stressing the exact same thing.
24:54And when you look at those run numbers, obviously Scadaboo missing today,
24:58but 261 yards rushing, you've won the physicality battle.
25:03Come home, you're not surprised by what the Giants are capable of,
25:07maybe like they were in week six,
25:09and they've come out and put together a great performance thus far.
25:20Hurts on the fake.
25:21Got it.
25:21Same play as a touchdown.
25:22This time the Giants were ready for it out there.
25:25Deontay Banks made the stop.
25:28And we get a penalty flag far side of the field.
25:35Illegal formation offense.
25:38Number 68 was on the end of the line and uncovered.
25:41It's a five-yard penalty.
25:44Second down.
25:44That's on Jordan Mailata, the left tackle.
25:50We'll move the Eagles back five more yards.
25:53So the Eagles trying to find a way to finish this game,
25:56up their record to six and two and go into the bye and
26:00get healthy and kind of get a little self-scout on this first part of the season.
26:03The Giants,
26:06barring a late miracle here.
26:086.31 to go.
26:21Got to be honest, I have no idea what's going on.
26:23You know, you know when you guys are talking about national tight end day and national
26:32quarterbacks day.
26:32Well, it's never national referees ever.
26:38All right.
26:39Third and six.
26:50Sorry, Dino.
26:53Here's Hurts.
26:54Blitz coming.
26:55Hurts sees it.
26:56Loading up.
26:56Going for a deep ball.
26:58It is caught.
27:00Jahan Dotson.
27:03Touchdown, Eagles.
27:18They needed someone to step up in absence of A.J. Brown.
27:21Dotson goes over the top of Black, who's just got called up from the practice squad.
27:30And who wants it more?
27:31Who's going to go high point that thing?
27:33It's Dotson.
27:35Again, more confidence that they can glean from these first eight weeks to run game a little
27:40better.
27:41Dotson making some plays.
27:44A lot of great things happening for this Eagles team going into the bye week.
27:48Boy, that was a spectacular catch for Dotson, who did not have a touchdown in the regular
27:53season last year, but he had one in the playoffs.
27:55Look at this.
27:55Yeah.
27:56Can you moss him?
27:56Oh, he did.
27:59And Dotson, not the biggest guy in the world, but goes up and over the top of Black, jumping
28:06off his left leg.
28:10And more great deep ball throws, giving his guys a chance from Hurts.
28:14Well, the Eagles have exploded today.
28:2038 to 13, all aspects of their offense.
28:24412 yards.
28:25And for Dotson, fly Eagles fly in full effect.
28:33The way this is going today, season highs in points, in yards, in rushing yards.
28:38All positive for the birds today and for Dotson.
28:43Look at this.
28:44Third career game, four touchdowns for Jalen Hurts.
28:47Again, his accuracy, his deep ball accuracy, so good.
28:51And for Dotson, unprompted, we had multiple guys we talked to this week, bring up how great
28:56he is and never complains because he doesn't get a lot of balls.
28:59Almost felt like maybe that was a, hey, this is for you.
29:01And the Giants will start from their own 35.
29:08Why don't we take a look at next Sunday on Fox?
29:13We got Justin Jefferson and the Vikings in an NFC North showdown against Jared Goff and the Lions.
29:18We'll be in Detroit for that one.
29:20Some will see the Jags take on the Raiders, other regional action.
29:22Check local listings for the game in your area.
29:25The Vikings are hoping that J.J. McCarthy can come back.
29:28Been on a long time with that ankle sprain.
29:30Got hurt in week two, and they need him.
29:32They're starting to falter a little bit, that three and four.
29:465.59 to go.
29:48Dart trying to make something happen to Tyrone Tracy, and he works his way up to the 40.
29:55And still a lot to be gained out here in terms of experience for Jackson Dart.
29:59They're down 25, but all these reps are very valuable, and you see them right to the line.
30:04Still very much a learning curve, and I know they're very much out of it at this point,
30:08but Coach Dable still wants to see good, solid execution.
30:12With young players, you're always looking to build on good performances,
30:16and that could be good plays at certain points.
30:18Dart's in trouble, spinning away.
30:20Sets, looks, throws.
30:21Oh, that's pretty.
30:22One, Dale Robinson came open, makes the grab, and he's down to about the 25-yard line.
30:28Dart just making it happen with his feet, patience downfield, and a big gain of 35.
30:33Yeah, and that's what gets all the Giants fans excited.
30:36This escapability and then playmaking ability on these loose plays down the field.
30:42Finding Robinson, who's been a standout performer this year,
30:46in the absence of neighbors and Slayton going down, he's really stepped in and filled a big void.
30:53First and ten.
30:55Let's start.
30:56Thinking about running, just fires a dart and a seed across the middle.
30:59Good for a first down there.
31:00It's Bo Collins, just his second catch of the year.
31:04And the rookie, undrafted, makes that grab.
31:08Giants trying to hurry up here.
31:20He's looking for some positive energy to take into next week's game against San Francisco.
31:34Dart fires corner, incomplete.
31:37Tried to get it to Collins there, and could not find him.
31:41Mack McWilliams, another rookie on the coverage.
31:47Again, all valuable experience for Dart in this situation.
31:50You're just looking for completions, good solid reads.
31:53Kind of like that scramble play down the sideline of Robbins.
31:56That was a little bit Josh Allen-esque, rolling to the left, making a great throw.
32:00Now you get down to the red area, and this is where Scadaboo has done so much damage down here.
32:05Without him, obviously a lot tougher to score.
32:07No doubt, Tracy will get it, a little stutter step.
32:10Good run from Tracy.
32:11Very good.
32:12Near the two.
32:15It'll be a third down and goal.
32:18Yeah, that Scadaboo injury was just devastating to see.
32:21He and Dart had really injected some life here into this team, you know, and
32:26it's such a fine balance.
32:27You're trying to win, which the Giants haven't done a lot of the last few years.
32:31Trying to develop.
32:32Yeah.
32:33But you do have to win.
32:35I mean, it's all said and done.
32:36So it's a fine line, and now you lose Scadaboo, who is so, not only energy-wise,
32:40but just really good production-wise.
32:43Third and goal here.
32:44Dart trying to punch it in.
32:48Design run.
32:49Dart is smashed.
32:51Oh, wow.
32:52Jeremiah Trotter.
32:55That's some of the backups in for the Eagles.
32:57Where's the same number as Dad did here in Philadelphia?
33:00Oh, and I played against his dad, one of the elite middle linebackers, and played with
33:04the physicality that his son just showed right there.
33:08Showing up in the hole, contact player out of nowhere.
33:12That's why I don't love all these quarterback runs that I see so many of these guys doing all the time.
33:17It'll be fourth and goal for the Giants.
33:30Dart fake toss, and he's in for the touchdown.
33:33He's fourth rushing touchdown of his young career.
33:42Yeah, great creativity.
33:44A lot of misdirects.
33:45You see the Eagles players shaking their head.
33:46They got the jet sweep fake.
33:48They've got the toss fake, and they got the tight end and the guard pulling around.
33:52It's a lot to stop on defense, especially with a lot of the players on the Eagles defense
33:56that have not had a lot of practice reps this week.
34:10Extra point is good.
34:11So, Giants get a positive drive.
34:14Dart punches it in, and look, they're going to be two and six after this game.
34:18They lose Scadaboo, looks likely not, I mean, obviously for a while.
34:22And their schedule's hard.
34:23I mean, they've got the Niners, Bears, Packers, and Lions coming up.
34:28And, you know, it's going to be tough going forward.
34:31I guess if you're a Giants fan, or maybe even if you're, you know, in the front office,
34:35what do you want to see from this team?
34:37Well, it's tough because you lose neighbors, you lose Scadaboo.
34:42You're now it's relying on one guy, Jackson Dart, to bring the juice.
34:44So you just want to see progress.
34:46You want to see these young guys develop.
34:48You want to see them play hard.
34:49You want to see the play style stay the exact same regardless of the score.
34:53And that's what I liked about that drive.
34:55Yeah, they're somewhat out of it.
34:57Not a lot of time left the game, but we're not quitting.
35:00You know, quitting is, is, that's a disease.
35:03And we never want to be a part of that.
35:05What you want to see is guys fight to the end.
35:07There's a lot of character in that locker room.
35:09A lot of these young guys have brought a lot of the juice.
35:11And that guy right there, Jackson Dart, continues to impress me.
35:17And he will for a long time.
35:18He keeps that competitive attitude.
35:20I was saying quarterbacks need to always point the finger at themselves first.
35:25What can I do better?
35:26How can I help us get in better plays?
35:27How can I study more?
35:28How can I be more competitive?
35:30How can I bring a winning attitude to practice every day?
35:34He can do that.
35:35He's got that in him.
35:36He's going to bring that out of this team.
35:38All right, so Giants will onside kick it.
35:46See the league?
35:46It hasn't worked all that well on the year.
35:50And Gillen will creative onside kick but bounces right into the waiting hands of Dallas Goddard
36:02where the Eagles will have it look to run this clock out.
36:07It has been the most complete game of the year for the Eagles.
36:10And, you know, it's funny, you know, they're almost a victim of their own success, you know,
36:15because they've five and two you joke with Nick Sirianni.
36:18It's like, you know, people think you're underperforming.
36:20Right.
36:20But the reality is you've seen bits and pieces.
36:24They found ways to win.
36:25And this was a complete from the most pressure they've had on defense since 2018.
36:30Yeah.
36:30From run game being dominant.
36:32Jalen Hurts being great again.
36:33This was kind of scary for the rest of the league.
36:36Yeah, complete effort.
36:37Everyone in the NFC goes, oh, God, that's not the type of team we want.
36:40They get that run game going very similar to what happened last year in their explosiveness down the stretch.
36:47Meanwhile, Tank Bigsby is just running through people.
36:49He's still going.
36:51Tank running like a tank inside the 30 egos.
36:54Wow.
36:55And Bigsby now goes over 100 yards in a backup role today.
37:01Gives everyone juice.
37:02The legs are just driving.
37:04He's getting effort from Steen pushing them and not going down.
37:08Keep those legs pumping.
37:09Make them get you on the ground.
37:13What a name.
37:14Tank.
37:14If I was a running back, I want my name to be Tank.
37:17Right.
37:18You couldn't be like, you couldn't be like a 4-3 wide receiver with Tank, right?
37:22You got to be a big physical running back.
37:24There's no doubt.
37:25He fits it.
37:26Eagles run game has been massive.
37:28278 on the ground, 38-20, two minutes to go.
37:3130, two minutes to go.
37:34Barkley enjoying his best game of the season so far.
37:37And this 38-20 lead over his former New York Giants.
37:41The Eagles did come out and say that Barkley has a groin injury.
37:45They did list him as questionable.
37:46Kev, we talked about this earlier.
37:48But they were only going to put him back in if they needed him.
37:50You had mentioned, of course, they have a bye coming up.
37:52So this is the safest thing to do.
37:54But as you can see from Saquon's face there, he doesn't look too concerned.
37:58Yeah, that's probably a good thing to see, obviously, after the bye.
38:01How it responds.
38:02He was great today.
38:03150 yards rushing for Saquon and a touchdown.
38:06Tank Bixby is 104 yards rushing in a reserve role.
38:09And really, the Eagles on all cylinders today.
38:12They had been outgained in every single game this year somehow, despite being 5-2.
38:16Great point, KB.
38:17Not today.
38:18They are 428-246 total yardage.
38:21And two running backs over 100 today.
38:24That's the first time that's happened.
38:25It's 2013.
38:27Shady McCoy and Bryce Brown did it back then.
38:31So we came in talking about the Eagles there.
38:34Great passing team.
38:35And the run game hasn't worked.
38:36And that was kind of a little shout out to the league saying, you know what?
38:39It still works.
38:40It's there.
38:41It's there when we need it.
38:42You sleep on Saquon and he's going to make people miss in the secondary.
38:45And great to see him going because he's just such a great leader.
38:50I mean, you bring him into the team last year.
38:52What they thought they were getting was just a standout running back.
38:55What they got was a standout leader.
38:57And everyone rallied around him.
38:58The entire offensive line did.
39:00The coaches, the personnel department, and he's just such a team player.
39:06And that's what you need from the culture.
39:07Those two guys right there, Jalen Hurts and Saquon Sirianni as an offensive coach,
39:12counts on those guys to be the culture drivers of what this team is trying to accomplish.
39:17And they have high expectations.
39:18There's only one goal for this team at the end of the year.
39:22And this is a great step in that direction.
39:24Yeah, they're going to be 6-2 heading to the bye.
39:27Tanner McKee will take one more knee.
39:28Giants will let it run down.
39:31That'll do it.
39:32Eagles get a win here at home against the Giants.
39:36Jalen Hurts, a four-touchdown day.
39:47Hurts, four touchdowns.
39:49Barkley, 150 on the ground and a score.
39:51Eagles defense, tremendous.
39:52And they win it here over the Giants 38-20.
40:06Thanks for watching today from Philly.
40:08For all of us here, there's more to do.
40:10The Browns have the Patriots.
40:12Let's go catch the end of that one.
40:13Chris Myers and Mark Slareth have the call there.
40:16We will see you next week.
