00:00All right, here we go, we're rolling, let's go.
00:15Play clock's starting.
00:21Hey, watch your play clock.
00:22Ooh, clock start.
00:27All right, let's go, hey, refocus right here.
00:29Reset, refocus.
00:32Ready, reset.
00:35Got it.
00:35Damn, what happened?
00:37Want to start?
00:37Go, go, no, take off.
00:41Take off, take off, take off, take off.
00:44We can't even snap the ball.
00:45Ones will be up when we get back.
00:47Ones will be up.
00:48Go, just go, run.
00:53Run.
00:54We got all these plays.
00:56We got all these plays, but we can't get off the ball
00:58at the same time.
00:59Averaging two of practice.
01:05We're averaging two of those of practice for 17 practices.
01:11It's ridiculous.
01:12We're partnering with you, what do we do?
01:15Nope of course.
01:15We'll be the people familiar with you, because we're
01:16not talking about the beautiful Ee Kapinnen Murray.
01:18I'll see you next time on the app.
01:18We'll beiblically, Guten contemplate sorry.
01:20Let's do it in this video.
01:20Welcome to all our list of our руics.
01:20We'll be charging.
01:21We'll be circled at the same time of Underwood pre-examination images.
01:23See you next time.
01:25Let's do it in place.
01:26Yeah, we'll be doing the best.
01:27All right, next time.
01:27Let's do it.
01:29Let's do it in place.
01:29Go, go, go, Man,üs.
02:00It doesn't really matter, though, how I feel.
02:03It's how you guys feel.
02:05How you guys feel, right?
02:09Almost home, babe.
02:11Yeah, I got a lot left to do in the next week.
02:18For players fighting for a spot on the roster,
02:21this is the most fraught week of training camp.
02:24There's no time left for mistakes or excuses.
02:27I can't do shit, bro.
02:30All right, we've got to be on the same page, right?
02:33We don't want to give up free plays.
02:35Careers are at stake.
02:37A couple of great plays, and you might make the team.
02:41A couple of duds, and you could be cut.
02:45Come on, come on.
02:46It can't be me who loses his man.
02:49It can't be you who loses his man, right?
02:51Don't be the reason.
02:53Let's go.
02:53The cut-down looms, and those are tough days.
02:58You know, all I can think about is those guys right now,
03:00their families who are putting everything they have
03:02into this last game coming up.
03:03Make plays, make plays, make plays on the ball.
03:06There's a tension in the air.
03:08Some players thrive, others fold.
03:12Knowing the difference between a bad day
03:14and a bad prospect isn't easy.
03:18Are some guys letting mistakes multiply, you know,
03:24or are they able to flush it, move on, next play?
03:30Joe.
03:31You're not going to move on that.
03:33Motion, right?
03:34No.
03:35Do you have a variety of skill sets?
03:38Come on, KJ!
03:39What is their fourth down value?
03:42What are they going to add to our special teams?
03:44Let's get another one, A4.
03:46In the face.
03:47Who's competing?
03:48Finish strong now, finish strong, let's go.
03:50Who is fighting their ass off
03:52to earn a spot on this team?
04:00For the guys that are playing for this weekend,
04:02when you go into a game intentionally,
04:03you have to have something in your mind
04:05that you're going to do better than the last outing.
04:07Whatever that is, everybody's got something different.
04:09So whatever that is, we've got to lock it in.
04:11And from now until the time where we play,
04:13you've got to prepare all the way up
04:15and through the competition,
04:16all the way up and through the contest
04:17to make sure that it looks better this time
04:20than it did the last.
04:21Your tape is your tape.
04:23All 32 teams are watching it, not only us.
04:25So make sure it's elite when you put it out there.
04:30Good teams are marked with a bullseye.
04:32The Bills are such a team.
04:35That means get better or don't bother.
04:39All right.
04:40The game wasn't as, you know, like we wanted it.
04:45All right.
04:45But the main thing is you guys played hard,
04:47you know, to the end.
04:49And it was like, it wasn't like all bad.
04:52But when it was bad, it was sad.
04:54Right.
04:55We dropped the pass or we ran the wrong route
04:58and we didn't get what we needed to be.
05:00So it's just the little details of it.
05:02All right.
05:03And the number one thing is we've got to make sure
05:06that we're elite listeners
05:08and they were not elite defenders.
05:10All right.
05:11Obviously, we've got a couple of things cleaned up.
05:12Every coach is going to come in here and say the same thing.
05:14We know what it is.
05:15The standard is the standard.
05:16I was talking to Trey earlier.
05:17Trey hit me with, Coach,
05:18my standard is going to be higher than me
05:20than anything that any coach got for me.
05:21And at the end of the day, that's what we want to hear.
05:23When I talk to you guys post-practice
05:25about it being a player-led team,
05:27you've got to have guys with that mindset
05:29leading this thing if we want to go where we want to go.
05:31What did you tell me about Trey today?
05:33Share it with the class.
05:35I was just saying Trey, like, 10 years in,
05:37but still be beating himself up after, like, a bad rep
05:40because he wants the best for himself.
05:42It's impressive to watch, ain't it?
05:44Yeah.
05:44As a younger guy, man, y'all got to learn from that.
05:47These dudes have been here
05:47and been playing at a high level for a long time,
05:49and that's why.
05:52There's film study.
05:54We're good, Dio?
05:54We're good.
05:55And then there's this.
05:57State-of-the-art optics for next-level analysis.
06:01How's that feel better?
06:03Yeah, you were definitely more.
06:04I was just going to ask you if it felt good
06:06or if it felt like shit.
06:09Biometric expert Chris Hess
06:11is helping the Bills' quarterbacks
06:12hone their throwing motion.
06:14Is there anything you're feeling or want to do or work on?
06:21Are you good?
06:24Give me, like, another deep out or a cue to the right.
06:27Fancy term would be applied biomechanics
06:30and performance analysis.
06:31Cut.
06:31Simple terms is we're measuring the quarterback's movement
06:34to help optimize their efficiency
06:36and help them avoid injury.
06:38Before that, we're using 3D motion capture.
06:41We're using high-speed cameras to measure release dynamics.
06:43That was sweet.
06:44Compare that to what they've done in the past.
06:46That was pretty effortless.
06:47And just help them continue to improve their craft and their skill.
06:50Shane's got a beautiful throwing motion, right?
06:54Grew up in baseball as a player.
06:55He is a natural thrower.
06:57It's like a perfect dagger.
07:00Mitch, a little less external rotation,
07:02so he's really got to be good with the body.
07:04Fantastic athlete.
07:05Good.
07:06And then Mike White,
07:07I actually started measuring Mike down in Florida
07:08when he was still with the Dolphins.
07:10Watching Mike progress through and improve his motion,
07:13it's been fantastic to watch.
07:15Give me goes at the 50 red line.
07:16And then we've got guys like Josh
07:19that are kind of go from next level to alien level.
07:23Chris Hess honestly changed my life
07:26in terms of how I threw the football.
07:28He knows what I've looked like at my best.
07:31He knows what I've looked like at my worst.
07:36See anything?
07:37Yeah.
07:39Yeah.
07:40Lean back.
07:41Chest over toes.
07:43And what may take another quarterback two months,
07:45he can do in two or three reps.
07:47And just be like,
07:48you mean like this?
07:49It's like,
07:50yeah.
07:56Sounded good?
07:57Yeah.
07:58That looked really good.
08:00You want to see anything else?
08:02No, the fact that you corrected that posture
08:04in like two reps was fantastic.
08:06Do you got this throw here?
08:07Yeah.
08:08That's not normal.
08:09So when we're going into the analysis
08:17of the quarterbacks of the data and the information,
08:19one, it always starts with the kinematic sequence.
08:26Right?
08:26So how do we take power from the ground,
08:28pass it up through the body?
08:32Good.
08:34Cut.
08:38We're going to look at shoulder external rotation,
08:41the actual amount.
08:43We're going to look at velocity that their arm is rotating.
08:46We look at what's happening, especially with the lead leg.
08:49So after the foot strikes the ground,
08:52they stride, front foot hits the ground.
08:54We don't want to see that lead knee flexing anymore.
08:57And then we're going to look at the rotation speeds of the body.
09:00How is that energy transferring from the ground up through
09:02and out through the hand and the ball?
09:06I feel like I'm throwing really well right now.
09:08Good.
09:09It looks good.
09:14When we started measuring Josh six years ago,
09:16one of the fastest internal shoulder rotation,
09:19he's a very arm-dominant thrower.
09:22When he started, he was almost like he was just chucking a rock.
09:25So he kind of went from a chucker
09:26to a thrower,
09:29and now he's evolved into a passer.
09:32I also figured out something in my golf game yesterday.
09:48It was kind of nice.
09:49What did we figure out?
09:51I don't know.
09:51I feel like I got to, like, this spot here.
09:55It was nice.
09:56Yeah, because it's the same thing, right?
09:59So when you're...
10:00Yeah, well, when you go back,
10:01it's early extension or through that lumbar spine,
10:04you're moving into the ball,
10:05and now you have to flip.
10:07Yeah.
10:07And you can save it with your hands most of the time
10:08because you have your...
10:09But when you can get back,
10:11but your cue is yes.
10:14It's all right.
10:14You're going...
10:15So backswing,
10:16you're loading, pushing into me,
10:18and then you switch,
10:19and then pushing at that point after you switch,
10:22you're pushing that foot into the ground there
10:23to clear that hip,
10:24and you'll have all the space you need
10:25to just turn and smash.
10:28Yep.
10:29Okay.
10:29Cool beans.
10:30See you in the morning.
10:31Do you see anything else?
10:32No.
10:32Okay.
10:32I'm good.
10:34What time tomorrow morning?
10:357.30?
10:367.30 is good.
10:37QB room.
10:378.30 is good.
11:07If you work on some stuff during the off-season,
11:09you rotated better
11:10than I've ever measured you rotating before.
11:12Yeah.
11:13Good.
11:13It showed.
11:14Huge joke.
11:15Oh, really?
11:16Yeah.
11:16So basically when it's flat,
11:18your pelvis is staying straight.
11:20As this chart starts to curve down,
11:22that's you opening the pelvis toward the target.
11:24So you can see basically
11:25from the time you started stride
11:27until the blue line where you struck,
11:28the pelvis wasn't really opening that much in June.
11:31Yeah.
11:31But now look at here.
11:33You are ripping that thing open.
11:36Fantastic.
11:36So you are getting, like,
11:38your rotation velocities are up
11:40and your pelvis and your trunk
11:41and your arm velocity went down,
11:44but your ball velocity stayed the same.
11:46That is efficiency in a nutshell.
11:48Good progress on it.
11:50So, like I said,
11:51as long as it feels good and everything,
11:52keep doing what you're doing.
11:54Great work.
11:55Appreciate it.
11:55Thanks, Chris.
11:55It isn't launch angle and arm speed
12:00that are top of mind
12:01for the quarterbacks this week.
12:04It's who will be Josh Allen's primary backup.
12:08Way to spin it, baby.
12:09Nice.
12:09And who might find themselves on the cut list.
12:13Got him.
12:14Out the gate.
12:14Got him.
12:17Then there's the other part of the passing equation,
12:21the receiving core.
12:23There's a lot of competition,
12:24which means tough choices.
12:26You know, I think we've got a pretty good feel
12:29for, you know, one, two, three,
12:32but who's four, five, six, seven?
12:34Who's four, five, six?
12:35Who's four and five?
12:36Is it five and four?
12:37You know what I mean?
12:38So it's, you know,
12:40once you get kind of after that third person there,
12:42it's trying to figure out who the rest of them are
12:45and how they can help us not only on offense
12:46but on special teams.
12:49K.J. Hamler is gifted.
12:50A former second-round pick,
12:53he has speed, agility, and a love of the game.
12:57What he doesn't have is a guaranteed roster spot.
13:00Just an energetic ball.
13:02He loves to have fun.
13:03He loves hanging with the guys.
13:05He never complains.
13:07Just does everything that he has to do.
13:08Good, good.
13:10You know, he's one of my favorite teammates
13:11I've ever had.
13:13Josh Allen loves him,
13:14but it's not Allen's call on who makes the team.
13:18Hamler has to outplay the competition.
13:20Ah, come on, K.J.
13:24Where's the hunt?
13:32Fuck, man.
13:37I kind of flattened it.
13:38That's why I ain't located like I wanted.
13:40What the fuck, man?
13:56It was a shitty day, bro.
13:58Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
13:59Hamster!
14:00Hamster!
14:00Hamster!
14:00Hamster!
14:01Hamster!
14:01Hamster!
14:01Hamster!
14:02Hamster!
14:02Hamler's had bad days before.
14:04He spent the last two seasons on practice squads
14:08and battled an assortment of health issues,
14:10one potentially life-threatening.
14:13It was 20-23, still with the Broncos at the time, and it was the first day of camp, and
14:20I remember just the pain in my chest, like, woke me up at, like, four in the morning.
14:23None of my trainers answered the phone.
14:25Nobody was up.
14:26So, like, I drove myself to the hospital, like, about to pass out at the wheel, and it honestly
14:31felt like a heart attack.
14:32Like, I didn't know what was going on.
14:34Like, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't even get, I was just gasping for air, and I remember
14:39when I got in the hospital, I'm on the phone with my mom and dad, like, panicking, and,
14:43you know, they couldn't even get no meds into my system until, like, an hour and a half
14:49because somebody else was going into cardiac arrest.
14:51So I'm thinking, oh, man, this, like, not to be dramatic or nothing, but this is just
14:55how I was feeling at the time.
14:56Like, I thought it was my last day.
14:58So, you know, I'm glad I got that on track and, you know, got the meds that I need for
15:03it.
15:06The diagnosis was pericarditis, an inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart.
15:12That was two years ago.
15:15Healthy now, Hamler hopes his resolve yields results.
15:19Take for what it's worth, like, sometimes it takes time that your work is being noticed.
15:28Like, just one comment or two comments.
15:31Just keep doing your shit.
15:33I got you.
15:34It's hard to know, like...
15:36Yeah, you know, I be in my head sometimes.
15:38Oh, yeah.
15:39You sure I be in my head?
15:40It's just, like, it's just, you know, I care.
15:45I give a fuck.
15:46It's more the patience that's the hardest part because, you know, you want to get out
15:49there.
15:50You want to get back out there.
15:51You know, I done been removed from ball for two years now.
15:53I've been through a lot, you know, and I've, you know, all the things that I've encountered.
15:56It's like, man, like, I know people who are my age or younger that's not having these opportunities.
16:01So, it's like, if I've been through all of this, you know, I got to be here for a reason.
16:06Just be, just stay on me, though.
16:08Just stay on me.
16:11I know I'm here for a reason.
16:14God ain't, he ain't, he ain't bring me this far for no reason.
16:19Two ACL, torn pec, dislocated hip, heart problem.
16:30You still here, boy.
16:32You still here, cuz.
16:35Don't let him tell you nothing different.
16:45Don't let him tell you nothing different.
16:53When you're playing for a job, every rep matters.
16:58Jimmy Charlo was signed just 13 days ago.
17:03That means the West Point grad hasn't had enough reps to be fully evaluated.
17:13You saw him flash, and then you said, okay, how can we give him some more tape so we can get him evaluated?
17:18The discipline that you see within his game is excellent.
17:21How he approaches the classroom is excellent.
17:23He's gonna sit right there in the front row.
17:25He takes notes, asks good questions.
17:28But let's talk a little bit here, Army, as we're going.
17:31You got a big guy, right?
17:32So there's gonna be a little bit of a shit-kicking that takes place initially, right?
17:36It's just, it's gonna happen.
17:37He has you by weight.
17:38You're saying, big guy, here he goes.
17:42I want, I still want to go attack it and close it to the best of our ability.
17:47All right?
17:48Does that make sense?
17:49I feel like there's a lot I can do to catch up.
17:51There's just always more work to be done, and then just really out of, out of, for the fact that I'm already behind coming into camp so late.
18:00There's been nights I've been here towards midnight.
18:10Somebody actually came up to me last week.
18:13I was in here late, and they asked me if I was moving in.
18:18Right now, I'm staying in a hotel about 20 minutes away.
18:23It's definitely not comfortable living.
18:25You don't have a lot of your things with you.
18:27Like, I came up here with really two pairs of clothes.
18:31My car's in New Jersey.
18:32So, you know, it's difficult to get to and from the facility if you don't want to leave at the time that they're running the shuttles.
18:39But, I just try to get the things done that I need to get done.
18:43I really just want to put on tape that I can play at this level.
18:49I ended up getting tons of special team snaps last week, which was huge for me.
18:56Let's go!
18:58We had some, some DBs go down.
19:00So, I ended up playing a position that I don't typically play.
19:04You know where the nickel...
19:06They let me know a day before the game that there's a chance I could play nickel.
19:10What am I, just a safety or what?
19:12I stepped into that role sometime in the third quarter.
19:16And I played nickel for the rest of the game.
19:18Hey, am I going?
19:19No.
19:20What am I playing?
19:21Who can handle something that they've never really repped?
19:34No.
19:35Jimmy's a football player.
19:36Football players, you can, you know, sometimes you can just put them out there and they'll,
19:41they'll put it together.
19:42Hey.
19:43What's up, buddy?
19:44What's up, big guy?
19:45How's it going, man?
19:46Yeah, everything's good.
19:47We just got done with our second practice of the week.
20:08My relationship with my dad's awesome.
20:10He's really my best friend and he's been my biggest supporter.
20:14When you got in, were you playing linebacker or were you playing nickel?
20:17Yeah, that's the funny thing.
20:19I was playing nickel.
20:20From the time I was released from the Jets in May up until when I got signed here,
20:25I was, I was pretty negative and he was really responsible for keeping me on track.
20:31You got to be a soldier, man.
20:33Just do your thing.
20:34Buffalo soldier.
20:35I heard, I heard somebody commented that on, on Instagram the other day.
20:40I love it, man.
20:41It sounds, it sounds great.
20:42I got a ton of, I got a ton of nicknames now.
20:45They're calling, Rambo's the one that's sticking now though.
20:48This is it.
20:49Last preseason game.
20:50I know.
20:51We got to go out with a bang.
20:52I think if you give everything you got, the world's going to see Jimmy Charlo at his best.
20:57Thanks, dad.
20:58All right, good luck Saturday.
21:00I love you.
21:01Love you.
21:02Bye.
21:03Talk to you later.
21:04Pushing themselves is what professional football players do.
21:25They always find a way to crank things up.
21:27Tight end, Zach Davidson is 27 years old.
21:31He has one career reception.
21:34This summer, he's determined to get his game in gear.
21:37I don't think there's a day I don't ride my bike.
21:42Whee!
21:43Whee!
21:44Whee!
21:45I have my routes and my little jumps and I cut in the trees.
21:55I really dove into it and started riding more and more just realizing what it was doing
22:01for my lower body on top of playing football.
22:03It's a very structured way to get a flush in my lower body just to prepare me for the next
22:13training day.
22:14When you're trying to earn a place on a team, anything that gives you a leg up is worth
22:23trying.
22:24Coming out of high school, I was a punter for the team.
22:27I made the most out of my opportunity there.
22:29I was able to get a Division II scholarship to go punt for Central Missouri.
22:33Zach Davidson is your punter man.
22:35He hits a bomb into the wind.
22:39The staff saw a lot of opportunity in me as an athlete to go play tight end.
22:47Playing in the National Football League, I'm still very grateful to be here and still working
22:52to be the best I can be.
22:54Just how competitive are NFL players?
22:58Let me spell it out for you.
23:01Easy, easy.
23:02I'm going easy level.
23:03All right.
23:04Spell liaison.
23:07That ain't right.
23:08L.
23:09E.
23:10L.
23:11I.
23:12E.
23:13No.
23:14What the heck?
23:16Spell.
23:17Hallucination.
23:18H.
23:19H.
23:20O.
23:21No.
23:22H.
23:23U.
23:24L.
23:25L.
23:26A.

23:28Oh, sir?

23:30H.
23:31H.
23:32A.
23:33H.
23:34H.
23:35O.
23:36M.
23:39N.
23:40O.
23:41H.
23:42I just got the P.
23:43left.
23:44P is P O E I E.
23:48You out! You lost!
23:49I lost? Yeah!
23:51Your word is appetite.
23:54Woo!
23:55A. P. P. E. T. I. T. E.
24:07Yeah!
24:08Good job!
24:09Good job!
24:10Good job!
24:11What's it?
24:12Neighbor.
24:13Want me to use it as a sentence?
24:14Yes.
24:15Our neighbor brought us cookies.
24:17N. E.
24:18Yes.
24:19I. G. H. B. O. R.
24:26Running back Frank Gore Jr. is making a beeline for the roster.
24:33Hey, that's so good, Frank! That's so good, Frank!
24:37Atta, baby. Atta, baby.
24:41He's following in his father's footsteps.
24:43Frank Gore Sr. played in the NFL for 16 seasons, including one in Buffalo with Josh Allen.
24:51It is kind of crazy to think I shared a backfield with his dad, you know, not too long ago.
24:57And now to have the opportunity to share it with him, you know, he's one of those guys that's just a football player.
25:02Frank is a north-south runner. He can make you miss. And the apple didn't fall far from the tree. You know, his dad was one of the best at just seeing that hole and feeling it.
25:12He has just run into NFL history. The third all-time leading rusher in pro football history.
25:19My dad is like my best friend.
25:21You need to join right now. On the set by Frank Gore and his son of LeFrank. First of all, congratulations, Frank. We appreciate it.
25:27Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, baby.
25:28He's not that hard on me, as people would expect. My mom's actually the tough one. But, like, we talk about anything, like, literally like a best friend, where he'd pick up the phone for anything.
25:41We'd talk football. We'd talk basketball. We'd talk anything in this world. So I'm really appreciative of my dad and the relationship that we have.
25:48And so he just tells me every day, ball out. And that's what I come to do.
25:54I think Frank's had a good preseason.
25:57Yes, sir!
25:59And just seeing where he can take it. And it just kind of continued to build off what he's done.
26:04Frank and G.
26:10Here we go. Here we go. One throw up. Let's go. Tag off tempo. Here we go. In and out. Let's go. In and out.
26:17Work our, hey, work our coverages here now.
26:23Here we go.
26:47Rip your mouth, let's go.
26:48Hit this.
26:49Go.
26:50Go.
26:51Go.
26:52Ma-pa.
26:54Yeah, we're having a Milnie Biggest Jeez run, ladies.
26:55Can't wait!
26:58All đi.
26:59There's from there that can take it to my other Sorry that it can take away a moment.
27:02As dogs.
27:03Here we go.
27:04That's a place for a lot of us.
27:05It's a place to leave a good on all.
27:06Let's go, man.
27:07I trust his horses, mean?
27:08You are back.
27:09Do a bit.
27:10close the token to C.
27:11Dimebag! Dimebag!
27:13Get out Chris' hands!
27:15Good job, boys!
27:17Good job, boys!
27:19Thanks for going mustaches with me, guys.
27:21Thanks for killing me, Katie.
27:23You were, like, two weeks late, bro.
27:25We all had mustaches, and Josh was like,
27:27I swear I'm gonna do it tomorrow.
27:29I'm gonna do it Monday. A week and a half later.
27:31No, I'm gonna do it Wednesday, partner.
27:33I'm gonna do it Sunday. Partner.
27:35That's just sweet, huh?
27:37Ah, guys.
27:41I feel like poop.
27:43Yup.
27:45I feel like poop.
27:47I feel like everything I do is wrong.
27:49It's one of those days.
27:51Yeah, football feels like that sometimes.
27:53Yeah.
27:55Actually, Casey Rogers
27:57always tries to do the right thing.
27:59He even helps
28:01dogs in danger of being euthanized
28:03find foster homes.
28:05So this is who? Nyla?
28:07This is Nyla. You ready?
28:08Am I taking her in?
28:09You're taking Nyla.
28:10Welcome to Buffalo, Nyla.
28:11I know.
28:12Yes.
28:15She's a baby girl.
28:17No!
28:18All right, we got Mr. Hank.
28:19Hank's been peeing
28:21everywhere but the grass.
28:23You even peed on my shoe.
28:24It's a rough start.
28:26It's all good.
28:32They're pretty warm.
28:33We're going to the grass.
28:39It doesn't matter what type of day
28:41they had or what type of day you had.
28:43When you walk in the door,
28:45they're just happy to be around.
28:49Camps, football in general,
28:51is a stressful lifestyle.
28:53So anytime you can get around
28:55something you're passionate about
28:57other than football and help out,
28:59it's my favorite thing to do.
29:02You're taking Hershey?
29:03Sure.
29:04Smells like chocolate.
29:05If you guys ever need anyone
29:07to let him out, you know.
29:13The final preseason game is two days away.
29:16Cuts in less than a week.
29:18General manager Brandon Bean is considering
29:22all the implications.
29:24I thought I'd run through our roster here.
29:26It's tough with this full quarterback thing.
29:28But I think Mitch has had a better preseason
29:32than he had a year ago.
29:33It's just from more calm and comfortable.
29:38And you can feel his presence.
29:40This is our first camp with Mike.
29:42And I love Mike, obviously.
29:44He's played with us a lot.
29:46Smart dude.
29:48Both of them can do it and stuff.
29:50And like I said, I'm kind of excited
29:51to see what Shane can do.
29:53I agree with you on Mitch.
29:54I feel him more this year.
29:56Yeah, the confidence and just the presence.
29:58To me, that's the biggest jump with him.
30:00Yeah.
30:01Feels like he's playing freer.
30:03All right, running backs.
30:08So, you know, Frank's going to get a number of carries.
30:13You know, he obviously played good week one.
30:15And then last week I thought he still did really good things.
30:18But just a pass pro and follow.
30:23But he's been good.
30:25Tight ends.
30:27You know, obviously we know Zach.
30:28Great dude.
30:29Brings great energy.
30:31We'll see if he gets some inline blocking.
30:33I think that's what he's going to have to.
30:36You know, he knows that.
30:38Our defense.
30:40Give Jimmy Charlo another chance.
30:42He's obviously still learning the defense.
30:44It's fairness to him, so.
30:47He also doesn't leave.
30:50He's here the whole time.
30:52At night.
30:53Trying to learn to play with Chris.
30:54The West Point guy's got good work ethic.
30:56Who knew?
30:57I wonder where he got that from.
31:00Okay.
31:03All right.
31:04Ready break.
31:05Ready break.
31:07Today is the last practice of camp.
31:13To ramp things up, it'll take place in Highmark Stadium.
31:17The regular season is coming fast.
31:20And no team is truly ready if they're not prepared to get physical.
31:25Great eyes.
31:26Great eyes.
31:27Great eyes.
31:28Great eyes.
31:29Great eyes.
31:30Great eyes.
31:31All day today.
31:32You're my kings.
31:33Stay disciplined.
31:34Do you like Army, West Point, Rambo, or Captain America?
31:40For Captain America.
31:41Oh, for her nickname?
31:42Yeah.
31:43No, dude.
31:44Captain America's reserve for our quarterback last year.
31:45Since his nickname.
31:46They call me Steve because my last name is Rogers.
31:49Oh, there you go.
31:50For like a week, they called me Steve in the D-line room, and I had no idea.
31:53I thought they just didn't call me.
31:54You didn't even know what it was referring to?
31:56No.
31:57I was like, why do they keep calling me Steve?
31:58That's a sick one.
31:59But I kind of just went with it.
32:00I was like, alright, they just don't know my name.
32:05Oh, well imagine.
32:07As I'm through a single pews and a chest-colored door, and I can't help but to hear
32:12And a hearing and a hearing exchanging of words be said.
32:16What a beautiful wedding.
32:18What a beautiful wedding.
32:19Says the bridesmaids to a waiter.
32:22What a shame.
32:24What a shame the poor groom's bride is a whore.
32:28I sign in with the haven't you people ever heard of.
32:32Closing a goddamn door, no.
32:34It's much better to face these kinds of things.
32:37With a sense of boys and rushing me.
32:39I sign in.
32:40How did you people ever heard of.
32:43Closing a goddamn door, no.
32:45We're fucking tackling.
32:46Much better to face these kinds of things.
32:48No, we're large.
32:49We're tackling.
32:50Five, I need ya.
32:56Damn.
32:57We're good, we're good.
32:58So pour the champagne, pour the champagne.
33:02Let's go!
33:04Woo!
33:15Hey, hold on.
33:17Hold on, hold on.
33:18Hold on, hold on.
33:19Don't add on to.
33:20Pack it up.
33:21Pack it up, pack it up.
33:23Pack it up.
33:24Hey, hey, hey.
33:25Pack it up, pack it up.
33:26Hey, hey, hey.
33:27Pack it up, pack it up.
33:28Hey, hey, hey.
33:29We're gonna have a second, you come on.
33:30Back up, back up.
33:34Back up, back up. Come on now.
33:38Come on.
33:42Love it. Fuck yeah.
33:46Hey, take care of yourselves tonight, man. Get your rest.
33:50Two or three hour flight to Tampa tomorrow. Hydrate tonight, hydrate tomorrow morning
33:54and on the flight down there. Alright, here we go, Josh. Here we go.
33:58One, two, three. Wind.
34:02Getting to the heart of it,
34:06knowing what really matters takes a certain kind of wisdom.
34:10Who better than a pair of Hall of Famers to guide you?
34:14It's great to be able to catch up. Appreciate you guys and your time, man. Yeah, we're excited
34:18about this year, man. Yeah, so are we. So are we. Got some young guys, man.
34:22They're gonna need to play early and
34:26step up here for us. Yeah. I just remember
34:28as a rookie trying to figure out
34:30the game. First of all, trying to get
34:32everything to slow down. The physicality.
34:34The speed. Like I remember
34:36Scotty Pippen was one of the guys for me.
34:38Man, I gotta figure this guy out. Cause he had all the
34:40tricks. Yeah. He had all the dirty moves.
34:42And like, ref, you don't see this. Back in the day
34:44the referees used to tell you to shut up and play.
34:46Really? Like they'd tell you to
34:48stop crying and play. Yeah. Are you guys
34:50believers in the leadership
34:52has to come from the players? No.
34:54I think it could come
34:56from the coach. Because
34:58your leader is not always your best player.
35:00You come across all kind of leaders,
35:02man. I mean, I've seen
35:04the greatest freaking
35:06power forward I've ever seen in my life,
35:08Tim Duncan. I've barely heard him say a few words.
35:10It's all about his preparation.
35:12Being prepared is leadership.
35:14How you prepare yourself. Love that.
35:16Is leadership.
35:18You fall in love with the preparation,
35:20the process, and it becomes
35:22almost maniacal a little bit.
35:24Yeah, yeah. But...
35:26You need a little bit of that though. Yeah.
35:28With the best teams that you've been on,
35:30give me the common threads.
35:32When
35:34collectively you all understand
35:36that,
35:38all right, I know my role, everybody
35:40knows their role, and you stay within
35:42that, and don't try to play outside of that,
35:44you have a hell of a team.
35:46Yes, I feel like maybe I could do
35:48more for this team, but that's not my role right now.
35:50Mm-hmm. The best teams I've been
35:52on is everybody understood
35:54their role and their willingness to do it.
35:56Yep. Mm-hmm.
36:02All right, here we go. Here we go.
36:04Okay, hey, I know tomorrow is
36:06an important night for a lot of you guys, right?
36:08Listen, man, tomorrow is going to go well.
36:10It is. You've got to believe that.
36:12As you go to bed tonight, man, you've got to believe
36:14and see it and believe in your heart that it's
36:16going to go great. You've worked hard.
36:18You're prepared. It's an opportunity.
36:20And there's a lot of guys around this league
36:22every year who make
36:24a team just based on
36:26preseason game three. And so,
36:28my encouragement to you is, go for
36:30it tomorrow, right? Tee it up and go
36:32for it. You've got nothing to lose.
36:34You've put in all the work.
36:36You've put in all the preparation.
36:38Go out there tomorrow and let it go,
36:40man. Fly around. Have fun.
36:42Show us your personality.
36:44Show the league your personality, man.
36:46That's going to be fun to watch. I can't wait.
36:48I really can't wait. Beyond that,
36:50and this is my main message to
36:52you guys tonight. The last time we'll be together
36:54in this type of setting, right?
36:56This, to me, is the most important
36:58thing I can ever share with you guys.
37:00is that, yes,
37:02you are football players,
37:04but I want you to remember
37:06more than that, that you are way
37:08more than just a football player.
37:10You bring so much more to the table
37:12than what you do just on that football
37:14field. Never,
37:16ever, ever forget that.
37:18And I'm so proud of this group, man.
37:20So proud of you guys. Tomorrow night, man,
37:22you go for it knowing that you've got
37:24bright futures. That you're
37:26winners.
37:28And I'm proud of you.
37:30Get some rest. Josh out.
37:40The Bills enter tonight's third
37:42and final preseason game
37:46with a very specific
37:48agenda.
37:50Evaluation.
37:52Hello again, Bills Mafia.
37:54Even in sun-soaked Florida,
37:56those from the north know
37:58the hard truth.
38:00Winter is coming.
38:02The only question is,
38:04who will the north remember?
38:06Cut-down day looming on Tuesday.
38:08It's believed there are maybe four to six spots that could be earned.
38:12There are certainly some guys, a lot of guys,
38:14who could make this roster based on their performance tonight.
38:16It's the worst possible three days coming up.
38:18The only question is, who will the north remember?
38:22The only question is, who will the north remember?
38:24The only question is, who will the north remember?
38:26Cut-down day looming on Tuesday.
38:28It's believed there are maybe four to six spots that could be earned.
38:36There are certainly some guys, a lot of guys, who could make this roster based on their performance tonight.
38:42It's the worst possible three days coming up where they have to say goodbye to some really good football players.
38:48It's the last chance to impress Sean McDermott and Brandon Bean.
38:54So he's the GM.
38:56He's the guy that pays the guys, gets the guys, and moves the guys.
39:00He makes the decisions.
39:02Hey Vincent, Josh is out there.
39:04Watch behind you.
39:06Watch behind you.
39:07Watch behind you.
39:08Run, Josh Allen.
39:10What's up, my guy?
39:12How are you doing, brother?
39:14Doing good?
39:15Oh, yeah.
39:16Can't complain.
39:17It's here.
39:18Is it fun?
39:19It's here.
39:20Yeah.
39:21It's here.
39:22Let's go.
39:23It's here, man.
39:24Check it out.
39:25You made it, huh?
39:26Who would have thought I'd see you guys in Florida?
39:27First time on a plane in what, 30 years?
39:29One last ride.
39:30Thanks, Dad.
39:31One last time, man.
39:32One last time, baby.
39:33I love you too, man.
39:34Thank you guys for coming out.
39:35Oh, this is new.
39:40Take your time, Z.
39:42That's Zach.
39:45That's Zach.
39:48Hey, so Zach's our punner.
39:50Nice.
39:51So be ready.
39:52We'll probably go for it a little bit more.
39:53Sweet.
39:54All right.
39:55If you want me to punt too, I'll punt.
39:56Nah, bro.
39:57I want you to spin that fucking rock.
39:58Say no more.
39:59There is one major competition that must be decided,
40:02and that's backup quarterback.
40:04An 80, my son!
40:05Bouchel spins out of the pocket, throws on the run, and it is all along the sideline.
40:15Shane Bouchel is getting his shot.
40:17All right!
40:18The fifth-year pro is scheduled to take every Bills snap at quarterback tonight.
40:22Hi, baby.
40:23Hi, baby.
40:24Hi, baby.
40:25Hi, baby.
40:26Love it, Shane.
40:27Players on the bubble know their performance tonight might be the difference between a job
40:32and being cut.
40:33Good work, KJ.
40:34Good work.
40:35Good work, KJ.
40:36Good work.
40:37Good job, KJ.
40:38Lock him.
40:39You tough.
40:40You tough.
40:41He's swinging on you there?
40:42He tried to.

41:14He's gonna be just short.
41:16Fuck.
41:19Let's go in.

41:21We're on the one-yard line.
41:22Let's fucking go.
41:23180 was in.
41:25Hand-off to Gore.
41:26Up the middle.

41:42Good Buffalo contingent cheering.
41:47Where there's Buffalo, there's gotta be Buffalo Joe.
41:53Jamarcus Ingram is getting plenty of playing time, too.
41:56The cornerback, who psychs himself up with positive thoughts,
42:00is eager to prove he's worth a roster spot.
42:06Who can provide that depth?
42:07Jamarcus Ingram has played plenty of meaningful snaps.
42:13Let's hit one.
42:14Set ourselves up for a double dip.
42:16Good work, Hester.
42:17Way to battle.
42:18Way to battle.
42:19Way to battle.
42:20Buffalo's regular punter Brad Robbins is ill.
42:24Luckily, the Bills know a guy.
42:27We'll be all right.
42:28All right, we're gonna have to punt it then.
42:30Just take the quarter here.
42:31All right, we'll go punt team.
42:33Go punt team.
42:34There is Zach Davidson,
42:36who began his collegiate career as a punter at Central Missouri.
42:40Zach Davidson, punter.
42:43He was hitting the ball good.
42:46Not his first rodeo.
42:53The kick is pretty darn good.
42:55Holy smokes.
42:56Look at this Zach Davidson, man.
42:58Sending him back to his 12-yard line.
43:00What a fucking punt, Zach.
43:02Holy shit.
43:03That was a 61-yard punt by Zach Davidson.

43:25Let's go.
43:26There's extracurricular, and Zach Davidson got in a scrap with Shiloh Sanders,
43:43who might get thrown out of the game.
43:45He just threw a punch at Zach Davidson.
43:47Yeah, lucky he missed, or else he probably would have hurt his hand.
43:50You punch someone with a helmet on, generally,
43:52you're the one that takes the brunt of it because you injure your hand.
43:55Bouchel under center, receiver on the left.
43:59Bouchel back to pass, going fade ball to Shavers,
44:02who pulled it in with one hand,
44:04and they said he's out of bounds.
44:06He didn't get the feet down.
44:08Come on, OG.
44:11Come on, now.

44:22Hey.
44:23Hell yeah, boy.
44:24Fuck, my boys. Fuck yeah.

44:47Do what you do best is always sound advice.
44:51Buschel and the offense are gunning for more points before halftime.
44:5658 seconds left in the half.
44:59Buschel back to pass.
45:00Has to step up in the pocket to avoid the pressure.
45:02Now going to take off and run.
45:04And he's caught from behind.
45:05You're good. You're good.
45:06You're good.
45:07Two receivers left.
45:08One to the right.
45:09180, what's that?
45:11Buschel back to pass.
45:13Has to roll to his left to escape pressure.
45:15Pumps.
45:16Fires.
45:17And he's got Wilkerson right along the sideline.
45:18Is he out of bounds?
45:19And he tiptoes and falls out of bounds.
45:21180, what's that?
45:22Quick hitter, Buschel, to Wilkerson.
45:27It's a first down for 12 yards and they're going to have to hurry.
45:30They get the ball back to the line of scrimmage.
45:32And it's bobbled.
45:34And the clock continues to run.
45:36They spike it with one second left.
45:38The ref couldn't spot the ball.
45:40He fumbled it.
45:41We're at one second.
45:42One second.
45:43One second.
45:44This is going to be a 37-yard attempt from the left hash.

46:19Let's get after the quarterback.
46:20They cannot block us.
46:22Let's make sure our coverage, our rush and our coverage are working together.
46:26Everybody cool on that?
46:27No more points.
46:28We all good.
46:29When we talk about adjusting into the second half, there's going to be adjustment with who's
46:32on the field at a number of spots.
46:34And it's about evaluating the roster.
46:36Let's go, man.
46:37Kick their ass in his ass.

47:45Ball!
47:46Ball.
47:47And the Bills hop on it.
47:48They've got the football.
47:50It looks like it's Jimmy Charlo.
