00:00Growth, that is growth.
00:02It's the biggest cliche in sports, like he's a gamer.
00:05But having watched him now through parts of three summers,
00:08Stetson Bennett is different in uniform at SoFi Stadium than he is on the practice field.
00:14There's no denying it.
00:15He's also different this year, and I think what you're just seeing is the benefit of experience.
00:20I mean, last two preseasons, valuable reps, mistakes, struggles, but he's grown from that.
00:25He's grown in this system, you're seeing it on display.
00:30Some of today's stars as Stetson Bennett,
00:34Some of today's stars as Stetson Bennett has found
01:00and Mario Williams for passing touchdowns and a 17-15 lead on defense.
01:07Tanner Engel has been delivering some huge hits.
01:10Desjuan Johnson has been wrecking protection in the pass rush.
01:14And the Rams are in position with the lead to try and go to 2-0
01:18in this preseason as they host the Chargers.
01:23Talked about Stetson Bennett getting back on track after the half.
01:27Maurice, that's the best throw I think I've seen him make in the preseason,
01:33including the last two preseasons thus far.
01:35No question.
01:37I think that's the best throw that I've seen throughout OTA's practice
01:41since he's been here.
01:42I mean, the confidence, the decisiveness, and just saying,
01:47look, I know where this ball is going to go and putting it on that spot.
01:51What a throw.
01:51So Bennett and Trey Lance dueling.
01:58A day that began with Justin Herbert making his NFL preseason debut,
02:03something we'll all be able to tell our grandchildren someday.
02:06Yeah.
02:07No, I mean, again, it really is a testament to experience.
02:10Both of these guys getting reps.
02:12You see the progression from both of them.
02:14Let's see if Lance can respond.
02:15Final 15 minutes.
02:17That's Steve O'Klotz.
02:18It's a tight end in motion.
02:19He settles in.
02:20First play of a new drive.
02:22Kamani Vidal, the tailback with full.
02:27Josh Piercy, another edge defender,
02:30part of that tackling effort for the Rams.
02:33And I think this is what you love most about the Rams
02:35is everyone's getting opportunities to get in this game
02:38and get an opportunity to put some good film on there.
02:42Again, that Piercy does a great job of getting off the block
02:46and falling in on that tackle.
02:52A rookie out of Rice where he was a six-year collegiate,
02:55three-time captain.
02:57Blitz from the blind side.
02:58Lance able to beat it.
03:00But the throw hit Dale Von Campbell in the hands
03:02and then the church.
03:03If we're talking about this backup quarterback for the Chargers,
03:08you can't put that ball any better than Trey Lance.
03:11It hits you right between the gloves.
03:13I mean, he's been playing, and JB, correct me if I'm wrong,
03:17I remember calling games with the Niners and the Rams
03:19and watching and studying and all that,
03:21and Trey Lance never looked like this.
03:22The Niners and the Rams.
03:23The Rams played him in the preseason last year
03:28with the Cowboys.
03:29And he didn't look like this.
03:30Completely different quarterback.
03:32The accuracy and the short throws like the one you saw there
03:34to me is what jumps out.
03:36Because we knew he had a cannon.
03:36We knew he was athletic.
03:39Third down needs six here.
03:41A rush arrives.
03:42The throw is broken up.
03:44No flags down.
03:46Brendan Rice, the target, Darion Kendrick
03:49gets his defense off the field.
03:52So, Darion Kendrick locked in that cornerback competition,
03:56backup cornerback competition.
03:57You see there, I think, why he's stuck around.
04:00It's the length, which is unusual on this roster, Maurice.
04:04He's a lot taller, longer than most of the Rams.
04:06Cornerbacks able to use it there to great effect.
04:09And he's one of the, I would say,
04:11one of the only Rams that has started for the Rams
04:13that's playing right now as he's in that competition
04:17to try to make this roster.
04:18He started 18 games over his last two seasons,
04:21and missed 2024 with the ACL injury suffer
04:24on the first day of camp last year.
04:26Going to the turf to secure that punt.
04:29Drake Stoops just above his 10.
04:31So, the Rams get the go-ahead touchdown
04:33and the football back after a defensive stop.
04:41Rams have the lead and the ball here early in the fourth quarter.
04:44Let's take things up a notch with our energy.
04:46Time for a player interview.
04:48Powered by your Southern California Toyota dealers.
04:50Visit Toyota.com to learn more.
04:51We make it easy.
04:52Kurt, I know you've got just the guy.
04:54Yeah, no one had a better camp than Kyron Williams
04:56because you got that contract extension.
04:59You're telling me, 10 nieces and nephews.
05:01What does it mean, not just for you to sign that,
05:03but to help your family?
05:04I think it means everything.
05:05I mean, to me, that's what I do it for.
05:07You know, that's why I wake up each and every single day
05:09and go so hard in this game
05:10because I know the Lord has blessed me
05:12to be in this position to be able to take care.
05:14And that's what I'm doing.
05:15That's always been my main goal.
05:17And now that, you know, it's kind of came to fruition,
05:19I can just continue to keep doing that
05:21and keep working on it.
05:22Earlier in the broadcast,
05:24Maurice Jones-Drew up in the box
05:25talked about the importance of a running back room.
05:28And I see you around Blake Horman.
05:30Tell me what the tightness is
05:32and what you see out of young Jarquez Hunter.
05:35Oh, I see a lot of potential.
05:37I see Blake being a player
05:38that's going to obviously help us a lot in this season,
05:40but also a player that's contributing
05:43to this running back room that we have,
05:44you know, with great guys like Jarquez,
05:46like Cody, like Ronnie, myself, Blake, Jordan.
05:49Like, we're all a group, and Coach G, obviously,
05:51we're all a group that's so close.
05:53You know, we're so just in it for each other
05:55that we want to see each other succeed
05:56as much as we want to succeed as individuals.
05:58So, to me, it's like the first time,
06:01and obviously in my career,
06:01that, you know, I've had a room this tight
06:04and this room that, you know,
06:05that wants to just ball for each other.
06:06One of my favorite things about Kyron
06:08is he throws balls before the game,
06:11home and away, to either players, fans, your mom, whoever.
06:14But it really stems, if I'm hearing you right,
06:16from meeting Steven Jackson when you were a 10-year-old.
06:19Heck, yeah.
06:20When I was 10, I got the privilege to meet Steven Jackson,
06:23and, you know, I've always wanted to play football.
06:25My whole life, I always desired to be an NFL player,
06:28and so when I met Steven Jackson for the first time
06:31when I was in, like, the fifth grade,
06:32that's when I realized my dream could come true.
06:33You know, being able just to see that person that I saw on the TV,
06:37see him in person, see him live,
06:39and know that he's not a fake person, you know,
06:41that allowed me as a kid to be able to, like,
06:44say my dreams could come true.
06:45So, for me, that's my mission.
06:46You know, I know how easily it is for these kids
06:49to be impacted and inspired because that's how I was.
06:51And so, for me to be able to do that,
06:52throw a football or sign an autograph
06:54or just give somebody a high five,
06:56you know, that's what it's for,
06:58and that's, you know, the main motivation
07:00of, you know, being able to do that.
07:01Kyren, we greatly appreciate your time.
07:03Stay healthy and have a great year.
07:05Hey, guys, we're going to go to break.
07:07Hey, it's time for the Q.
07:09Please, the games, and welcome to TV.
07:11Take out your phones.
07:12You go through your key point.
07:14You go through your key point.
07:1815, facing third down and six
07:21with a two-point lead.
07:23Stetson Bennett through three quarters,
07:2516 of 20 for nearly 200 yards passing,
07:28a couple of touchdowns, a rating of 141.
07:33Building off a great performance
07:35in the win over the Cowboys.
07:36He's got Cody Schrader in his backfield.
07:40Needs a 21 with this rep.
07:43Stetson sets his feet
07:45and delivers off the mark,
07:46looking for Britton Covey.
07:50All right, so back in the booth,
07:51I'm JB Long with Mina Kimes
07:53and Maurice Jones-Drew.
07:54I think last week affirmed a lot of things
07:56that we believed about the Rams,
07:57their competitive depth, right,
07:59that they've really built,
08:01their physicality,
08:02and we've seen more evidence of that today
08:04against a Chargers group
08:05that I think we would all agree
08:06is farther along this summer
08:07than the Dallas Cowboys were.
08:08Yeah, I would completely agree.
08:09We talk about that first drive offensively
08:11to go right down the field,
08:12running the football, play-action pass,
08:14throwing quick passes.
08:15They executed at a high level,
08:16and then defensively,
08:18the young DBs competing, right,
08:21for some tough throws,
08:22some great throws by Justin Herbert,
08:24but making plays and being physical.
08:25Yeah, I mean,
08:26we were talking about Trey Harris
08:27who made that big catch down the sideline.
08:30He's a second-round draft pick, you know.
08:32He's probably the highest-drafted player
08:34still out there from this year.
08:36And, uh...
08:38Oh, we've got a big return.
08:39Chargers got a chance on their punt return here.
08:41Luke Grimm...
08:42Oh, buddy.
08:43...takes it the distance.
08:48Oh, buddy.
08:48It's always tough when the returner catches it
08:52on the opposite numbers
08:53and gets back to the field.
08:55That's always a tough situation.
08:57But what a return there.
08:58What a job of setting up blocks
09:00and making guys miss
09:01and finding a way to get to the end zone.
09:03A big play needed.
09:04Look, he catches the ball outside the numbers.
09:06Half the...
09:07Most of the team, if not all,
09:09are on one side.
09:10Now you just got to beat the long snapper.
09:12And now you're one-on-one with the kicker.
09:13You got to make him miss.
09:15Yeah.
09:16Shows great bursts
09:17when he reverses field there.
09:19You did have a late holding penalty
09:20that wasn't called,
09:22but they never called those on special teams.
09:24Former captain for the Kansas Jayhawks.
09:27Luke Grimm went undrafted
09:29after running a 4-4-6-40.
09:32And he puts those afterburners on display
09:34to give the Chargers a 22-17 lead.
09:3966 yards officially on this punt.
09:41Return for a touchdown.
09:55A punt return for a touchdown.
09:57Luke Grimm, 66 yards
09:59to give the Chargers the advantage.
10:00He finished 22-17.
10:04A rookie out of Kansas.
10:06An undrafted shining.
10:09Aubrey Pleasant
10:10with the head coach's headset on today.
10:13Stepping in for Sean McVay,
10:15hoping for another summer victory.
10:17Can ask Stetson Bennett to do it
10:19and come from behind fashion.
10:22Not thrilled
10:23after that return touchdown.
10:25You know, this is the
10:26point in the preseason
10:28where a lot of these players
10:29are competing on special teams
10:31to make the team.
10:33Mario Williams
10:33just had a receiving touchdown
10:35and he sets up the Rams
10:36in phenomenal starting field position.
10:39To what I was just saying,
10:41you know,
10:41he showed the touchdown,
10:43but special teams
10:43is where he's likely
10:44to make a dent here.
10:46And that was a great play.
10:47No question.
10:48When you talk about Mario Williams,
10:50you got to talk about the passes
10:51that Stetson's been completing.
10:54This play-action pass,
10:56I mean, this throw here
10:57may be the best throw
10:58of the preseason,
10:59to be honest with you.
11:01Just commanding of the offense,
11:02making plays.
11:03He's done an awesome job.
11:05There was a flag on that last return.
11:07So the Rams are going to back up.
11:08But you know what?
11:09Situational football.
11:10You're in the red zone.
11:12You're in a situation
11:13where you're behind.
11:15You have 12 minutes.
11:16Can you lead a drive
11:17down to take the lead
11:18and give your defense
11:19an opportunity
11:19to go back and make a play?
11:22Stetson stepping into
11:23his age 28 season.
11:26I mention it because
11:26it's year 25 for Trey Lance.
11:29And those are the two
11:30dueling here
11:31between the Chargers
11:32and the Rams.
11:34After illustrious championship,
11:36college careers
11:37of a much different kind.
11:40From the 15,
11:42a new drive begins.
11:43Bennett away from center.
11:45Keeper game.
11:46Left side.
11:47It's all step.
11:48Half the chains.
11:51You know,
11:52he's got sufficient wheels
11:54so that when they roll him out
11:55on those boots
11:56and no one's open,
11:57he's able to avoid
11:59negative plays there,
12:01making good decisions
12:01to not throw the ball.
12:02But you can see why
12:04that's such a big part
12:04of the playbook
12:05with Stetson Bennett.
12:05Well, if you remember
12:07the very beginning of this tree
12:09and how it was right,
12:10it was John Elway.
12:11And think about
12:12what Elway looked like
12:13as a mobile quarterback
12:14out of the pocket
12:14after the play-action pass.
12:16You have to have
12:17some ability to run.
12:18Obviously,
12:18this thing has turned
12:19a little bit differently
12:20with Sean McVay.
12:21But I love the fact
12:22that Stetson Bennett
12:23is not forcing the ball.
12:24He's playing smart.
12:26They're leaning
12:26on their running game.
12:27They're controlling
12:28the line of scrimmage.
12:30And then you're putting
12:30yourself into third
12:31and shorts
12:32where you can go for it
12:34if you want to.
12:35Or you're in two-down territory
12:36if you like
12:36once you get to midfield.
12:37As we peer inside
12:38the Rams' huddle here
12:39before third and one,
12:40you see a new center there.
12:41Number 60 is Wyatt Bowles,
12:43a rookie out of Utah State.
12:45Unfortunately,
12:45Willie Lampkin
12:46left the previous drive
12:47with an injury.
12:48His return is doubtful
12:49with a lower leg injury.
12:50So, today,
12:52in terms of the depth chart,
12:54Rams to their third center.
12:57Schrader,
12:57the single back,
12:58set up for third down
13:00and one.
13:01They'll flip it
13:02to the flat
13:03and a one-handed stab
13:04by the tight end,
13:05Mark Redman,
13:06to move the chains.
13:08Yeah,
13:08the Chargers are playing
13:09him aggressively
13:10on those boots,
13:11anticipating them
13:12with the ends
13:13peeling off
13:14and chasing him.
13:15But I think
13:15Stetson Bennett now
13:16is three for three
13:17in those situations
13:18on getting the passes off.
13:19That's really impressive.
13:21This game plan
13:22that I'm seeing
13:22from the Chargers
13:23reminds me a lot of
13:24when the Baltimore Ravens
13:26came down.
13:26I want to say
13:27it was 2006-17, maybe?
13:30Talking about
13:31the Coliseum?
13:31The Coliseum, yes.
13:32And they were blitzing
13:33off the edge,
13:34blitzing off the edge.
13:35Jared Goff
13:35couldn't get around it.
13:36Stetson Bennett,
13:37Stetson is getting around it.
13:40Stetson Bennett
13:40is getting around it
13:41and being able
13:41to make good throws.
13:42Ball start.
13:44Office number 61.
13:45Five-yard penalty.
13:47Field first down.
13:48A.J. Arcuri,
13:49one of several
13:50guilty parties
13:51on that play,
13:52it looked like.
13:52Only one appearance
13:53on offense last year
13:54for A.J.
13:55It was in that
13:55disastrous week one
13:57game at Detroit.
13:59Pressed into 51
14:00snaps of duty.
14:03And look,
14:03the Rams
14:03made NFL history
14:05by rallying
14:06from three games
14:07below 500
14:08to make the postseason
14:10in each of their
14:10last two campaigns.
14:12They're out for a
14:13much faster start
14:14here in 2025.
14:15Of course,
14:17it all right now
14:18feels like it hinges
14:19on the health of QB1
14:20Matthew Stafford
14:21and it sounds like
14:22early next week
14:23is when we should
14:24get our next update
14:25on the health
14:27of the 37-year-old.
14:28You know what,
14:28though?
14:28As much attention
14:29has been paid
14:30to Matthew Stafford's
14:31status,
14:32I feel like an
14:32under-noticed,
14:34perhaps,
14:34storyline is
14:35Alaric Jackson
14:36looking at A.J.
14:37Arcuri,
14:37you mentioned,
14:38played left tackle
14:39week one.
14:39He's the Rams
14:40starting left tackle
14:40who at the Rams
14:42announced,
14:43I believe,
14:43in July
14:44had an issue
14:44with blood clots.
14:46Anticipating he's
14:46going to be ready
14:47early in the season,
14:48but that's something
14:48to keep an eye on.
14:50Second down,
14:5113,
14:52and a diving catch
14:53made by Drew Edwards.
14:55Our first chance
14:56to call his name
14:57did not get to see
14:59much of the rookie
14:59out of Louisiana Tech
15:01because of a training
15:01camp injury,
15:03but flashes here
15:04in preseason game
15:04number two,
15:0518 yards on this
15:07reception.
15:07Okay,
15:08so let me tell you
15:08a quick story.
15:10I actually played
15:10with his dad
15:11in Jacksonville,
15:12Troy Edwards,
15:12so that actually
15:14caught me on the field
15:15and was like,
15:15hey,
15:16I remember you
15:16from the locker room
15:17and I was like,
15:17don't age me.
15:18I still feel like
15:19I'm 25,
15:20man,
15:20I can still go,
15:21but what a catch
15:21there and adjustment.
15:23Got caught up,
15:23thought he was down,
15:24could have got up
15:25and kept running
15:25if he wanted to.
15:27A new first down
15:28and a handoff,
15:28Cody Schrader
15:29picks his way
15:30up the middle
15:30for a cover.
15:32Miles Purchase
15:33in on that tackle
15:34for the Chargers.
15:37I've been interested
15:37seeing Drew Edwards
15:38because he's very
15:40different profile-wise
15:41from the other receivers
15:42we've seen thus far
15:43in the preseason.
15:44Six foot two.
15:46Saw a lot of contested
15:47catches in college.
15:48His radius is impressive
15:49as you saw there
15:50coming out of his break.
15:51Could add a different
15:52element to this
15:53Rams passing attack.
15:54And he has that
15:54NFL pedigree.
15:56You know,
15:56that means something.
15:57You have a little
15:58football in you.
15:59After a gain of two,
16:02they stick it
16:03on the ground.
16:04Schrader turns
16:04the corner.
16:05Is there a face mask
16:06there?
16:06His helmet got ripped off.
16:09Jossir Taylor
16:09hanging on for dear life.
16:11Very viscerally
16:12came off.
16:14I don't even think
16:14he has his helmet.
16:15He doesn't even know
16:16where his helmet is.
16:17Who has it?
16:19Where is it?
16:21First little foul.
16:22Face mask.
16:23D-Fest number 37.
16:2515-yard penalty
16:26from the end of the run.
16:28Automatic first down.
16:31They got 37,
16:32I think they announced,
16:33but that's clearly 36.
16:35The discard.
16:38Went to the helmet
16:39because he,
16:40as you said,
16:41was about to turn
16:41the corner.
16:42He was shot out
16:43of the can
16:43and getting to
16:44the outside there.
16:45That is the one thing
16:46it's...
16:48Cody Schrader
16:48has an...
16:49He doesn't seem like
16:50he has that burst
16:51like Jarquez Hunter,
16:52but he can turn
16:53that corner.
16:54He gets to top speed
16:55very quickly.
16:56He ends up messing up
16:57the angle on the DB
16:58and that's why
16:59he had to grab
16:59instead of getting
17:00his shoulder pads on him.
17:04And cut splits
17:04to both sides
17:05for the Rams receivers.
17:07L.A. operating
17:07out of 11 personnel
17:08as they do so frequently.
17:10Covey in motion.
17:11He's in the flat.
17:12He's on the receiving end
17:13and he's planted
17:14by Quez Bridges.
17:16Back to Schrader
17:17for a second.
17:17Maurice,
17:17did I hear you correctly
17:18that you actually
17:19like the comparison
17:20in terms of style
17:21to Kyron Williams
17:22for Cody Schrader?
17:23I think he molds
17:25what Kyron does
17:25more than Corum
17:27or Hunter, right?
17:28He's a similar player
17:30that he can manipulate
17:31the middle linebacker,
17:32the linebackers
17:33on their duo scheme.
17:34He has the ability
17:35to hit the corner,
17:36catch the ball
17:37out of the back,
17:37which we saw.
17:39Touchdown.
17:40Yeah, the touchdown
17:40last week.
17:41I want to see him
17:42pass protect,
17:43but I know he can do it.
17:44I want to see him do it
17:45like Kyron, though,
17:46which is a little bit
17:47different.
17:47Let's see.
17:48From the shotgun,
17:49a gun run.
17:52Lowers his pads
17:53and drills down
17:54near the line to gain.
17:55Appears to be about
17:55a football short.
17:57It's third
17:57and less than one.
17:58The pass protection
17:59is really,
18:02I think,
18:02the biggest reason
18:04why these,
18:05when you see
18:06all these running backs
18:06in the preseason,
18:07they look fantastic.
18:08See,
18:09fights,
18:10and it looks like
18:11he's got it.
18:11Yeah,
18:17Bill Vinovich,
18:18our referee,
18:18pointed toward
18:19the end zone
18:19first down Rams.
18:22So what I was going to say
18:23is Kyron Williams
18:24had the most snaps
18:24of any running backs
18:25in terms of percentage
18:26in the NFL last year.
18:28Why?
18:28Why don't these other
18:29running backs
18:29get on the field?
18:30It looks so great
18:30in the preseason.
18:31Well, a big part of it
18:32is Kyron Williams
18:32is one of the best
18:33pass protecting backs
18:34in the NFL.
18:35Very important to Sean McVay.
18:37It's hard to get on the field
18:38if you can't
18:39pass protect the way he does.
18:40For sure,
18:41and I will tell you this,
18:42it's hard to gain
18:43the trust of Sean
18:44the way Kyron has
18:45in both the running game
18:46and the passing game.
18:48Tenth play of this drive.
18:49Off the play fake.
18:51Stetson.
18:51Oh, no.
18:52Should have been picked.
18:53Yes.
18:53R.J. Mickens
18:54flashing again.
18:58Got to get on the jugs.
18:59Got to get on the jugs,
19:01big fella.
19:01You know,
19:02we've been talking about
19:03Stetson Bennett's
19:04decision making
19:04and how good it's been.
19:06That's when he's going
19:06to want to take back,
19:08stares down Mickens.
19:10I will tell you this,
19:11I saw what he saw,
19:13but if you're going to
19:14throw that ball,
19:14it has to be on his body.
19:15You can't lead him
19:16in that situation.
19:17I thought his third read,
19:18the over,
19:19was coming wide open.
19:21He could have got to that.
19:22He probably would have
19:22had a big play there.
19:23Top of your screen.
19:25Schrader leaves
19:26Stetson Bennett
19:27and empty.
19:28Second down
19:28in the full chains here
19:29from the 25,
19:30the Chargers.
19:31They send the rush.
19:32This time it is
19:33Pits.
19:34Oh, it's a big man
19:35interception.
19:36T-Rod Edwards,
19:37a defensive tackle
19:38back to midfield.
19:41Oh,
19:41Stetson.
19:43Careful.
19:43Get out of there.
19:43Careful.
19:44That's not a fella
19:46you want to
19:47try to tackle
19:48as a smaller quarterback.
19:54That's one of those
19:55regular season blitzes
19:56where you blitz guys
19:57off the edge
19:58and you pull a big fella
19:59out who jumps the slant.
20:02Great job by Ed Rezer.
20:03Then you know he played
20:04a little running back
20:04back in the day.
20:05Watch the feet.
20:14The game's first takeaway
20:18belongs to T-Rod Edwards,
20:20defensive tackle
20:21and the Chargers.
20:22They've got the football
20:23back at midfield
20:24and a 22-17 lead
20:25on Stetson Bennett
20:26in the range.
20:27As you see,
20:28they brought two blitzers
20:29from his right
20:30and they pulled out
20:31Edwards.
20:31He comes from,
20:33he comes out of the line
20:35and is able to sit
20:36in the slant.
20:37And how is a DB?
20:38Do you let a D-lineman
20:39steal your interception?
20:40I know Mickens
20:41dropping one.
20:42Yeah, you know,
20:42in the preseason
20:43you usually see
20:44more standard rushes.
20:46You don't see exotics.
20:47You don't see
20:47defensive linemen dropping.
20:48Fairly Stetson Bennett
20:49didn't anticipate
20:50that he would be
20:51in his throwing window.
20:52Great play
20:53by the big fella
20:54and honestly,
20:55I'm just glad
20:56Stetson Bennett
20:56didn't get hurt
20:57trying to tackle him
20:58at the end of that.
20:59Or trying to get
20:59out of that pile.
21:00That's a size discrepancy.
21:03Darion Kendrick
21:04in from the corner
21:05to compete in the running game
21:07and they bottle up
21:07Raheem Sanders.
21:09Let's go down
21:10to the sideline
21:11and check in
21:11with Kurt Sandoval
21:12and a special guest.
21:13Yeah, Rob Havenstein,
21:14I don't want to date you,
21:15but you're the last guy
21:16on this team
21:17from the St. Louis Rams
21:18drafted 2015.
21:20How are you feeling?
21:21Yeah, I'm feeling great.
21:22Training camp's been
21:23going good so far,
21:24so feeling great.
21:26When you look back
21:27at last year
21:27and the slow start,
21:28I thought a lot of it
21:29was because of the
21:30offensive line injuries,
21:31the strong finish,
21:32a lot of it because
21:33the offensive line
21:34was healthy.
21:35How are you feeling
21:36about the cohesiveness
21:37and health of this team
21:38going in?
21:39Yeah, obviously,
21:40injuries happen sometimes.
21:41It's a game of football,
21:42but so far,
21:43it's been going well.
21:44I thought we've had
21:44a couple great weeks
21:46so far,
21:46guys learning,
21:47back learning
21:48what guys' tendencies
21:50are and how they like
21:50to play blocks,
21:51so we've had a lot
21:52of good communication,
21:53a lot of good growth
21:54throughout these
21:54first couple weeks,
21:55and then we're going
21:56to finish strong.
21:58Because of that,
21:58a lot of these
21:59offensive linemen
22:00got some good experience
22:01a year ago.
22:02What's your assessment
22:02of tonight and what
22:03they did last week
22:04against Dallas?
22:05Yeah, no,
22:06I think guys are out
22:07there playing tough.
22:08I think we're
22:08communicating well,
22:09which, you know,
22:09five guys playing as one
22:11is a necessity.
22:13I think they've done
22:14exactly what they've
22:14done in practice.
22:16You know,
22:16going out there,
22:17you know,
22:17there's some mistakes
22:18here and there.
22:18It's never going to be
22:19perfect,
22:19but we're always
22:20trying to chase that.
22:22Once a Badger,
22:23always a Badger.
22:24You went to Wisconsin.
22:25Aubrey Pleasant,
22:26a Wisconsin Badger.
22:28What's your assessment
22:29of him tonight
22:30as the head coach?
22:31Oh, I love Aubrey.
22:31Aubrey's the man.
22:32Who he is is who he is
22:35and, you know,
22:36you've got to love
22:36somebody for that.
22:37There's no fakeness
22:38in his heart
22:38and so everything
22:39that comes out of his
22:41mouth is from his heart
22:42and you've got to
22:42love that about him.
22:43I think he's done
22:43a great job.
22:44He gets the guys fired up
22:45and, you know,
22:46guys want to play for him.
22:47Rob, we appreciate
22:48your time.
22:48You look good.
22:49Stay healthy.
22:51Now, Rob Hayden's time
22:52what it means to be a Ram.
22:55So much riding on his
22:56shoulders again here in 2025
22:57and how about that
22:58defensive stance?
22:59Sudden change situation
23:00and you get off the grass
23:02three and out
23:03force a punt.
23:04Still plenty of time
23:05for Stetson to bounce back.
23:08Trouble here in terms
23:09of personnel, though.
23:10We've already seen
23:11one Ram run off
23:12this punt return unit.
23:16Play clock at four.
23:17Chargers taking it
23:18all the way down.
23:19J.K.
23:20Scott will try
23:21and pin the Rams deep.
23:23Hits it hot dog style.
23:27Out of bounds
23:27about the 12.
23:28Good to see Stetson
23:30with the lid back on
23:32after he was shaken up
23:33tackling that pick.
23:42Stetson Bennett ready
23:43to step into his huddle
23:44with his team
23:45trailing the Chargers
23:4622-17 and 4-0-9 to go.
23:49J.B. Long,
23:50Mena Kimes,
23:51Maurice Jones-Drew
23:52and a chance to see
23:53how Stetson
23:53had a great day
23:54bounces back
23:55from the first giveaway.
23:56Yeah, again,
23:57sudden change.
23:58I thought that there's
23:58two or three different
23:59situations and mentality
24:01that you have to come in.
24:02Defense gets a stop,
24:03a sudden change,
24:03you get a stop,
24:04force a punt.
24:05Now it's time for
24:06Stetson Bennett to get back,
24:08see how you respond,
24:09go downfield,
24:10win this game,
24:10and be excited to go home.
24:12Four minutes left.
24:13Both teams have
24:14all three timeouts,
24:15so I think ideally
24:15for the Rams,
24:17they'd like to control
24:18the ball,
24:19run the ball,
24:20is going to be
24:21a priority here
24:21because if they can run it
24:22and chew up a lot of clock,
24:24you can come out of this
24:25without the Chargers
24:25getting too much time left.
24:27Cody Schrader
24:28is the tailback.
24:29He swallows through
24:30Chargers above the 20,
24:31a gain of nine.
24:35As you said,
24:35Mina,
24:36running the football,
24:37great job.
24:38On first down
24:39to get nine yards,
24:40that's going to put,
24:41that's going to force
24:42the Chargers
24:43to allocate
24:44more bodies
24:45into the box
24:47to be able to have
24:48better passing lanes
24:49down the field.
24:49I love Schrader's
24:50running style.
24:51You see there,
24:52so patient,
24:53seeing that,
24:53they're cutting back
24:54through the hole.
24:56Feels like he does
24:56a drift job
24:57of waiting for his blocks
24:58to set up.
24:59A solid.
25:01Well-blocked run.
25:01You saw the knockback
25:02there from this
25:03makeshift offensive line
25:05which has lost
25:06Lampkin at center.
25:08Play fake
25:09from Stetson Bennett.
25:10Ready to rip it.
25:11Checks it down instead.
25:12Cody in space.
25:1435 and then some
25:15before he's shoved out
25:16by Johnson.
25:20Like the job again
25:21by Stetson Bennett.
25:21Off the play action,
25:23not forcing it downfield.
25:25Hitting Schrader
25:25who now you're seeing
25:27contribute both
25:28in the receiving game
25:29as well as the run game.
25:30You mentioned he had
25:30the touchdown last week,
25:31got that little option.
25:33Putting together
25:34a nice all-around
25:35performance.
25:35How about this
25:36offensive line too
25:37with the protection
25:38on that?
25:39I mean that simulated
25:40pressure we saw
25:40the interception,
25:41he had time to throw it.
25:43They were sliding
25:43the pocket,
25:44they're picking it up.
25:45What a job they're doing.
25:46Gain of 18,
25:47new first down.
25:48Chargers sell out
25:50from both edges
25:51against that run
25:52and crunch it
25:52maybe a yard.
25:53Kylene Guidry,
25:54one of those outside
25:55linebackers with the stop.
25:58Again,
25:58when you have
25:59a defense run blitzing you
26:01with three minutes left
26:03and you have the ball
26:04to go in and score,
26:05that's telling you
26:05the play action pass
26:06or there's going to be
26:07some type of room
26:08on the back end here
26:09very quickly.
26:11And how about the Rams?
26:12240 yards passing,
26:13134 on the ground.
26:15I mean that's a very
26:16balanced day.
26:19Last week it was
26:20almost 50-50
26:21and a win over the Cowboys
26:22in which they put up
26:2331 points.
26:24Chancellor improved
26:25at 2-0 this preseason.
26:27Stetson checks it down.
26:29Schrader threw an ankle tackle.
26:31And he shortens up
26:32third down considerably there.
26:34Marleau Wax,
26:35a linebacker,
26:36in on the play
26:36defensively for the Chargers.
26:39One of my all-time
26:40favorite names by the way.
26:41Marleau Wax.
26:42Sounds like a detective
26:43or something.
26:43Great job by Schrader
26:44there again in the
26:45passing game
26:46making those soft hands
26:47available to Stetson
26:48staying on his feet
26:49to pick up a little
26:49extra yard or so
26:51and putting the Rams
26:52in third manageable.
26:53You know Justin Forsett
26:54a good friend of mine
26:55once told me
26:55the running back
26:56is the best investment
26:57on the field.
26:58A five-yard throw
26:59can get you a 60-yard touchdown.
27:01Likely thing for you to say.
27:03Third down.
27:05Blitz picked up.
27:06Stetson heaves
27:07from his heels.
27:08Incomplete at the 25.
27:11Brennan-Pressley
27:12went airborne.
27:13It's fourth down
27:14and the offense
27:15not giving way
27:16down 22-17.
27:18Two-minute warning.
27:24Aubrey Pleasant
27:25looking on
27:25as his offense
27:26on the field
27:27ready to go
27:27for fourth down
27:28and four down
27:2922-17
27:30after Grimm
27:32returned a punt
27:3266 yards
27:34for the go-ahead score.
27:36Stetson Bennett
27:36also throwing
27:37an interception.
27:38His first giveaway
27:39today
27:40in the fourth quarter.
27:42Talked about
27:43Stetson Bennett
27:43being a gamer.
27:45Game's on the line.
27:46Here's the opportunity.
27:47Go out and
27:47convert.
27:48Keep the offense
27:49on the field.
27:55Full complemented
27:56timeouts for both
27:56head coaches.
27:58Inside the two-minute
27:59warning Cody Schrader's
28:00taking all the work
28:01in the backfield
28:02in this fourth frame.
28:04Here comes a
28:04simulated blitz again.
28:07Showing pressure
28:08and yep
28:09called it.
28:11They only rush
28:11three.
28:12Play coverage
28:12behind it
28:13and they trap
28:14Britton Covey
28:15shy of the sticks.
28:17A takeover
28:17on downs
28:18for the Chargers
28:19with a 22-17
28:20lead.
28:21And Jasir Taylor
28:22in sticky coverage.
28:28I thought
28:28he was going to
28:29I thought
28:29Stetson Bennett
28:30was going to
28:30take off.
28:31Yeah.
28:31And as everyone
28:32vacated the line
28:33of scrimmage
28:34the linebackers
28:34had their head
28:35looking for receivers.
28:36I thought he was
28:37going to have a chance
28:38to take off
28:38and get that first down.
28:39I still like the throw
28:40but as a receiver
28:41you have to understand
28:42you can't
28:43you either have to run
28:44two yards past
28:45the first down
28:46on fourth and four
28:47but you can't
28:48come back to the ball
28:49and lose yards
28:51to try to get
28:51that first down.
28:54Still Trey Lance
28:55at the controls.
28:56DJ Uwe Ungalile
28:57also on the QB
28:58depth chart
28:58but the Chargers
28:59want to put this one
29:00in their pocket
29:01as they hand
29:01to Sanders
29:02and he is leveled
29:03by piercing.
29:04Oh my goodness.
29:06He's been
29:06setting a hard edge
29:07today.
29:08Great tackle there.
29:10I mean
29:10gets around the
29:12look at this
29:12knocks a guy
29:13that's 230 pounds
29:15off his feet.
29:17First time out
29:18from Pleasant
29:18and the Rams
29:19trying to give
29:19themselves one more
29:20look at it.
29:21Two more.
29:24While we get a timeout
29:25let's get our

29:34Deswan Johnson
29:35and Brennan Jackson
29:36wreaking havoc
29:36earlier.
29:38This is that
29:39this is that
29:40stunt we talked
29:40about that
29:41T.E.
29:42tackle
29:42end stunt.
29:44You called him
29:45the Aaron Donald
29:46of the Mac
29:46Deswan Johnson.
29:47That was an
29:48Aaron Donald
29:48like move
29:49with that great
29:49penetration
29:50getting the
29:51quarterback off
29:52his spot
29:52and then Brennan
29:53Jackson
29:53finishing the
29:54playoff
29:54as he loops
29:55around
29:55young players
29:57making plays
29:58is what
29:59the theme
30:00of this
30:01preseason
30:01has been.
30:02When the
30:02defensive coaches
30:03go back
30:03and watch the
30:04tape of this
30:04Deswan Johnson
30:05is going to be
30:06the star
30:07of this
30:08defensive performance
30:09living in the
30:10Chargers backfield
30:10today
30:11as you saw
30:11there setting up
30:12the sack.
30:13Second down 12
30:14from the logo
30:15at midfield
30:16two timeouts
30:16left for the
30:17Rams on defense
30:18Lance sits in
30:19the pocket
30:19his pass deflected
30:21and flutters to
30:21the turf
30:22it is third
30:23down and long
30:24Bill Norton
30:25got his hand
30:26up.
30:28Can I be
30:29critical here?
30:29Can I be
30:30picky?
30:32Why not run
30:32the ball
30:33and force them
30:35to use all
30:35their timeouts
30:36and get out
30:36of this
30:37like you're
30:37there or
30:38tell Trey
30:39Lance hey
30:39sit back
30:40in the pocket
30:40hold this
30:41ball and
30:41then run
30:42like this
30:43is the time
30:43you actually
30:43can't take
30:44a sack
30:44because we
30:45rather have
30:46them have
30:46no timeouts
30:47and have
30:47to go to
30:48length of
30:48the field
30:48than have
30:49one timeout
30:50now with
30:50the ability
30:51especially if you
30:51throw the ball
30:52here again
30:52third down
30:5413
30:55four-man rush
30:56Lance loads
30:58and goes
30:58and his receiver
30:59couldn't find it
31:00Campbell never
31:02saw it
31:02the vertical threat
31:08from South
31:08Carolina
31:09I think there
31:11might have been
31:11a miscommunication
31:12there because
31:13he got him
31:14oh he's by him
31:15right here
31:16yeah but
31:16I think the ball
31:17is going inside
31:18he's not even
31:19looking
31:20he couldn't even
31:20find it
31:21sideline
31:22so Shula
31:28and the defense
31:29they do it
31:29again
31:29again the go-ahead
31:30touchdown
31:31was on a punt
31:32return
31:32for the Chargers
31:33and with
31:34134 the Rams
31:35kept two of their
31:37timeouts
31:37spoke too soon
31:38earlier when I said
31:39the game was on the line
31:40Stetson Bennett's
31:41going to get another
31:41crack at it
31:42stoop sprinting over
31:46will not get a chance
31:47to field it
31:47on a shank
31:48from J.K. Scott
31:50let's see where they
31:51mark it
31:52get in there
31:52crack at it
31:53with potentially
31:54good field position
31:55and that's why
31:56they play the game
31:57you get another
31:58opportunity
31:58don't ever give up
31:59a two timeout
32:01Scott
32:01all the way up
32:03at the 26
32:04the spot of the ball
32:05all right
32:07Aubrey Pleasant's got to be
32:12feeling pretty happy
32:13with the way that
32:13sequence went
32:14well again
32:15situational football
32:16you're
32:16everyone's learning
32:17as a punter
32:19you're trying to pin
32:20that guy
32:20as far as you can
32:21that shank
32:22gives them
32:23you know
32:24that play calling
32:24off injury
32:25and that shank
32:25gives them
32:26a favorable situation
32:27to try to go down
32:28and score
32:28Bennett hangs on to it
32:31drills one middle
32:32caught between the
32:33hash mark
32:34by Mark Redmond
32:3515 yards
32:37and a drive starter
32:38to the tight end
32:39and then we haven't
32:40talked about
32:41the offensive play caller
32:42who gets a chance
32:43to run a two minute
32:44offense right here
32:45I think Shieldhouse
32:46calling the place
32:46today for this
32:47Rams offense
32:48ton of time
32:48for Stetson
32:49to the sideline
32:51and out of bounds
32:51to kill the clock
32:52at the 41
32:53Brennan Presley
32:54twisted to his
32:55sideline by Taylor
32:56I like the way
32:58Brennan Presley
32:59catches the ball
33:00turns up
33:01he's got no
33:02wasted movement
33:03it's so funny
33:05you see a lot
33:06of these things
33:06on Instagram
33:07or YouTube
33:08and all this moves
33:09and route running
33:09it's all about
33:10being as efficient
33:11as possible
33:12minutes ago
33:14it's Presley
33:14again at the numbers
33:15down at the 48
33:17of L.A.
33:17in front of
33:18Yamani Johnson
33:19still two timeouts
33:21to work with
33:2250 seconds here
33:25using all four downs
33:26ball like that
33:27getting to third
33:28and short
33:28successful play
33:29here comes the blitz
33:31fading away from
33:33pressure and throwing
33:34low
33:34Stetson is incomplete
33:35to True Edwards
33:36it's fourth down
33:38and a long two
33:38so there you're
33:41actually glad
33:42it's incomplete
33:43well yeah
33:45you want him to sit
33:46in the pocket
33:47as he's starting
33:47to feel the pressure
33:48you're starting
33:48to see him drift
33:49kind of
33:50that's what got
33:51Shadur Sanders
33:51in a lot of trouble
33:52at Colorado
33:53when you're drifting
33:54back
33:54you don't have enough
33:55on the ball
33:56to be able to make
33:57that throw
33:57where you have a guy
33:58coming open
33:59just try to set
34:00your feet
34:00and find a window
34:01to get him
34:02the ball
34:03okay
34:03now the game's
34:04on the line
34:05yeah
34:05spoke too soon
34:06earlier
34:07you never know
34:09though
34:09plenty of clock
34:10in timeouts
34:11to work with
34:12but you gotta
34:12extend this drive
34:13with a first down
34:14Stetson Bennett
34:18needs midfield
34:19blitz picked up
34:20the throw is cut
34:21that's a nice catch
34:22True keeps it alive
34:24okay True
34:24let's get up
34:25and get on the
34:26we gotta time out
34:27bro
34:27I was gonna say
34:27let's get up
34:27and get on the ball
34:28what a catch there
34:29coming across the field
34:31you see the man
34:31pressure
34:32great job
34:33a slide to your left
34:34and as you can tell
34:34he was still on balance
34:35and what a throw there
34:37by Stetson Bennett
34:38and finding
34:38True Edwards
34:39coming across the field
34:41sliding to his left
34:42throwing back to his right
34:43nice job by True
34:45going back
34:46and snagging that football
34:47so Maurice
34:48with one timeout
34:50and 34 seconds
34:51needing a touchdown
34:52how do you manage
34:53being just across midfield
34:55with a new set of downs
34:56well you're trying to get
34:56the ball out of bounds
34:57as much as you can
34:58right
34:59you wanna
34:59try to get
35:0010 to 12 yard chunks here
35:02if you do get it in play
35:03you have to get on the field
35:04and spike the ball
35:05if you get a first down
35:06player of the game
35:07brought to you by
35:08Edwards Life Sciences
35:09driven by a passion
35:10to help patients
35:11live longer
35:11healthier lives
35:12Stetson Bennett
35:13with a bevy of highlights
35:15so far
35:16and hoping that his best
35:17is yet to come
35:18potentially a touchdown
35:20saving tackle
35:21I don't know that
35:23that's gonna make
35:24this highlight real
35:24but you're right
35:25after his interception
35:26first down
35:28from just across
35:28Smithfield
35:29he can't believe
35:31despite the leaping effort
35:32from Britton Covey
35:33is he okay
35:34took a pretty
35:36try
35:37quiz bridges
35:38with the hit
35:39that is
35:41that is the type of throw
35:42you're looking for though
35:43because now you're in
35:44the high red zone
35:45if you catch that
35:46and you're completing it
35:47well great job
35:48double caught it
35:49but
35:50if you complete that
35:51you're in the high red zone
35:52now you have an op
35:53to try to take a couple
35:54shots at the end zone
35:55but here you still have a chance
35:57you have one timeout
35:58you can get the ball
35:59the whole field is in play
36:00if you can get a nice chunk
36:01Bennett 26 of 36
36:06for 276 through the air
36:08deep drop
36:09he zips it
36:10to the numbers incomplete
36:12above Brennan Presley
36:14Nico Reed in coverage
36:15it's third down
36:16plenty of time there
36:18for Bennett
36:18you see the size difference
36:20there between Nico Reed
36:21and Brennan Presley
36:22kind of coming to fruition
36:25in that moment
36:26pardon me
36:27terrific coverage
36:29excellent job
36:29there preventing
36:31implications football
36:31and you wonder why
36:32a lot of defensive
36:34coaches go for the
36:35longer corners
36:36the taller guys
36:37because
36:38it interrupts routes
36:40right
36:41that route was
36:42a really good route
36:42but his length
36:43is what kind of
36:44forced the ball
36:45to be high
36:46as Stetson was trying
36:47to find a window
36:48to get him to pass
36:48play clock at three
36:50third down and ten
36:51from the Chargers
36:5248
36:52Stetson Bennett
36:53sets the laces
36:54hit from his blind side
36:55that's a live ball
36:58for now
36:59Chargers take over
37:01and if it stands
37:02it's game over
37:04Tremont Morris
37:07Brash
37:08knocked it out
37:09and Johnson
37:09covered it
37:10it looked like
37:11it looked like
37:12his arm was going
37:12forward
37:13let's look at it
37:14again
37:15that's a great
37:16job by him
37:17I think his arm
37:20is going forward
37:20hard to tell from that
37:21angle
37:21alright here we go
37:22he is going forward
37:24that's a
37:26that's an incomplete
37:27pass
37:28the game is on the
37:30line
37:30great rush though
37:33from 57 there
37:35getting
37:35underneath and around
37:38the Rams left tackle
37:39Tremont Morris Brash
37:41what a job there
37:42I mean this has been a
37:44long drive for this
37:45Chargers defense
37:45they've been on the field
37:46for some time
37:47great job of
37:49finding a way to get
37:51get around the tackle
37:52and get to the
37:53quarterback
37:53you're right
37:56incomplete
37:57another shot for
37:59Stetson Bennett
38:00who's already salvaged
38:01one fourth down
38:02conversion
38:02in this desperation
38:04drop
38:04I say here
38:10it's for
38:11we gotta go
38:11we gotta double move
38:12and go for a shot
38:13double move
38:14shot play
38:15to whom
38:15it doesn't matter
38:17at this point
38:17I mean we gotta go
38:18corner post corner
38:19the Dino route
38:20and out and up
38:21out of the slot
38:22with a post something
38:23to get the ball
38:24down the field
38:25because you're gonna see
38:26an umbrella coverage
38:28you're just gonna hope
38:28someone can kind of
38:29take the top off
38:30a little bit
38:31and find a guy down
38:32the field
38:32kind of similar
38:33what the Cowboys did
38:34on that
38:35was it fourth
38:35that third and twenty
38:36whatever they had last week
38:38Rams giving the go
38:41ahead in their huddle
38:42they reset the game clock
38:44to twenty seconds
38:45and again
38:46if the Rams can convert
38:47they do have a timeout
38:48to utilize
38:49after seeing the
38:53personnel group
38:54and the formation
38:55the Chargers
38:56spend the timeout
38:57last week was thrilling
39:02thirty one points
39:03from the Rams offense
39:04the most they've scored
39:05in a preseason game
39:06under Sean McVay
39:07and here
39:08another final possession
39:09showdown with the Chargers
39:11before we turn our attention
39:12to the preseason finale
39:13next Saturday
39:14in Cleveland
39:15I think
39:19you know
39:19we talked about this earlier
39:20but in terms of comparing
39:21last week to this week
39:22the discrepancy to me
39:24has been
39:24really the Chargers
39:25defensive coverage
39:27they're secondary
39:28even though we're
39:29down to second
39:30third stringers
39:31very well coached
39:32on their defensive coordinator
39:33Jesse Minter
39:34you have a lot of guys
39:35like Nico Reed
39:36who we talked about earlier
39:37who really threatened
39:39to make the starting roster
39:41at some point
39:42and they've played well
39:43thus far
39:43you know
39:44week in the Hall of Fame game
39:45week one
39:46playing well tonight as well
39:47I mean
39:48if you look at Los Angeles
39:50professional teams right now
39:52you should be excited
39:52if you live in the city
39:53I mean the Chargers
39:54are going to have some stuff
39:55going on as well
39:56Stetson needs the 38
39:58Bennett
40:00to extend the game
40:01dodges the first wave
40:03now hoists
40:04jump ball
40:05oh boy
40:07it is
40:08a catch
40:09what a catch
40:11inside the 10
40:12oh my goodness
40:12he heard me talking
40:15about the side discrepancy
40:16and said huh
40:16watch this
40:17look at that
40:18I'm going to go up
40:19and get that football
40:20holy smokes
40:21what a catch by him
40:22LA Magic
40:23here in the city
40:25what a play here
40:25Stetson Bennett
40:26has pressure
40:27has to step up
40:28in the pocket
40:29makes a throw
40:29look at this
40:30look at Presley
40:30go up over two guys
40:32I mean
40:32who needs Randy Moss
40:34said don't side shame me
40:36holy smokes
40:38that is a phenomenal catch
40:39and with seven seconds to go
40:42the Rams will spend their final time out here
40:45okay
40:47I tell you what JB
40:49I don't know about the NFL schedule makers
40:52but if you want to have a real game
40:54have the Chargers play the Rams week one
40:57this is too much for me
40:58I got him listed at 5'8
41:00I just want to emphasize that
41:02there's two words we use
41:04where I'm from
41:05either he has some bounce
41:06or what they call bunnies
41:08because he went up to go get that one
41:10a 40 yard completion
41:14Stetson Bennett with his back against the wall again
41:17able to find Presley
41:19for first and goal
41:20with 11 seconds
41:22they add 4 seconds
41:23obviously a bit of a prayer
41:24but even getting that prayer up
41:26by Stetson Bennett
41:27in the face of pressure
41:28phenomenal job
41:32giving the receiver a chance to make a play
41:33you know it's funny
41:34I saw
41:34the first time the Rams
41:37as they turned the ball over
41:38in their last drive
41:39there's people that got up and left
41:40look what you're missing now
41:41this is like the Colorado Michigan game
41:43when everyone left
41:44and all of a sudden
41:45Colorado comes roaring back
41:47alright
41:47no timeouts
41:4911 seconds
41:50Presley who just made that catch
41:52to the bottom of your screen
41:53don't throw him a fade
41:54Stetson stands in
41:58drills one
41:59end zone
42:00what a play
42:01from the mailman
42:04welcome to the NFL
42:05Drew
42:06he's got size
42:09I saw it there
42:11what a finish from Stetson Bennett
42:15my goodness
42:16what a finish for Auburn Presley
42:18yeah
42:19push back onto the field
42:23to go for two
42:24look at this bro
42:29with pressure on him
42:30and what a catch
42:33smoked it
42:33true Edwards
42:35that's what we were talking about
42:35I mean the size profile
42:37is what differentiates him
42:38on this roster
42:39and you know
42:40and then how about
42:42the Stetson stare down
42:43yeah
42:43after you
42:44hey big fella
42:45I had to go make a tackle on you
42:47now let me show you
42:48what it's really like
42:48gotta get back
42:51that's right
42:52shades of last summer
42:58with a late go-ahead touchdown
42:59now trying to compose himself
43:02and his huddle
43:02you know what
43:06kid's a gamer
43:08he's not really a kid
43:09he's 20
43:10he's old as I am
43:12but he's a gamer
43:13sure he is
43:14as old as I feel
43:16I guess
43:16Rams just went 10 plays
43:1975 yards
43:20in 123
43:21converting a couple of desperation
43:24fourth downs
43:24now trying to take it to a field goal lead
43:27with Redmond in motion
43:29they'll run it with Schrader
43:30and he is stopped
43:32look at this
43:41as he's sliding
43:42this
43:43fires the ball right there
43:46True Edwards has to go up
43:47and get it
43:48what a catch
43:48what a route too
43:50is True Edwards
43:50look at that
43:51look at that shake
43:51yeah a little shake at the top
43:53create some separation
43:54use your body to go catch the ball
43:56that's what you want
43:57that's what the Rams want
43:59in the red zone
44:00Stetson Bennett
44:01stares down the opposing sideline
44:04big target
44:06you know Rams struggled
44:07in the red zone
44:08something that has to do
44:09maybe with
44:09you know
44:10the lack of
44:10sizable receiving option
44:12well there's one in True Edwards
44:14using his
44:15all six foot two of him
44:17to go up and get that
44:17whatever happens from here
44:20he and Aubrey Pleasant
44:21will always be bonded
44:22forever
44:23always be bonded
44:23forever

44:29Aubrey Pleasant about to go
44:30undefeated
44:30as a head coach
44:32I can say this right now

44:35into the
44:36into it dome right now
44:37don't even let him get an opportunity
44:39and for all you that are watching
44:46that's south
