റോളക്സിനെ മെരുക്കിയത് നാല് കുങ്കിയാനകൾ ചേർന്ന് after hours-long mission

തമിഴ്നാട് കോയമ്പത്തൂരിലെ തൊണ്ടാമുത്തൂർ, നരസീപുരം മേഖലകളിൽ ഭീതി പരത്തി നാട്ടുകാരുടെ പേടിസ്വപ്നമായിരുന്ന ആളെക്കൊല്ലി കാട്ടാന റോളക്സിനെ ഒടുവിൽ തളച്ചു. മണിക്കൂറുകൾ നീണ്ട ദൗത്യത്തിനൊടുവിലാണ് ഒറ്റയാനെ തളച്ചത്. നാല് കുങ്കിയാനകളാണ് ദൗത്യത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. മേഖലയിൽ വലിയ കൃഷിനാശം വരുത്തിയ ആനയുടെ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ നാല് പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. മനുഷ്യരുടെ നേരേ അക്രമസക്തനായി ഓടിയടുക്കുന്ന സ്വഭാവം ഉള്ള റോളക്സിനെ പിടിക്കാൻ വനംവകുപ്പ് മാസങ്ങളായി പരിശ്രമം തുടരുകയായിരുന്നു. ആനമല കടുവാ സാങ്കേതത്തിലെ വരഗളിയാർ ക്യാംപിലേക്കാണ് ആനയെ മാറ്റിയത്.The notorious killer elephant 'Rolex', which terrorized residents and became a nightmare in Thondamuthur and Narasipuram areas of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has finally been subdued. It took hours-long operation and help of four Kumki elephants to capture Rolex. This elephant had caused extensive crop damage and was responsible for the d***h of four people in the region. It has been relocated to the Varagaliar Camp in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve.
