00:00Uh-oh, the dew is dabbling in something dark. Here's your spooky spot in the Mountain Dew Voodoo 2025 Mystery Flavor.
00:07I've already asked the Evil Candle if he had any thoughts of what mystery flavor this would be, and he said, souls.
00:32What does a soul exactly taste like? I guess it would depend on the person.
00:35If you have a dark soul, I would imagine it tastes more closer to probably like a wild berry.
00:40If you had a lighter soul, maybe a raspberry.
00:43The flavor, though, is not contained, or at least it is contained inside the bottle, but it's not listed on the outside of the bottle.
00:49This is a 591 milliliter bottle I picked up at my local shopper's drug market.
00:55It has 270 calories and an astonishing 72 grams of sugar.
01:01I'm not sure really what a can of Coke would be, but I would think it would be sitting around 40 to 50 grams.
01:06We're looking at well over 70 grams of sugar.
01:10This, by the way, is proudly bottled in Canada.

01:18It's all bad. It's all dark.
01:20It's all the stuff that you really shouldn't be intaking.
01:23Luckily, though, for the spooky season of Spottober, I plan only to be intaking this likely once.

01:30If it's really good, maybe, perhaps, I might partake in going back to that dark dwelling of Shopper's Dark Mart.

01:37Actually, I think maybe that there was a light, a random light that was kind of flickering around the area where I was getting my sodas,
01:43but I'm sure that will be fixed the next time I go back in.
01:47I do like that it does have some Halloween themes to the front.
01:50We've got ourselves what looks to be the gate opening, leading into possibly a cemetery.
01:55There looks to be maybe a jack-o'-lantern in the bottom corner.
01:58That jack-o'-lantern, though, does seem like it's a rather squished one.
02:02And then we've also got, I don't know if this is the Reaper.
02:05Somebody is giving us the peace sign.
02:07So, I don't know if maybe is that a good sign or not, but it is the voodoo flavor.
02:11Without any further to do, let's open up this bottle of dew and see exactly what the mystery flavor is.

02:27I can tell you, though, if I was to base it on just the coloring alone, I would probably go with unchlorinated pool water.

03:16I'm tasting like a little bit, I'm almost like a passion fruit, maybe mixed with a bit of lychee nuts.
03:23If you ever had a lychee nut, like lychees are very distinct in flavor.
03:27However, I'm tasting a little bit of that.
03:29I'm tasting very heavily influenced by tropical flavors.
03:32So, lychee.
03:33I'm tasting a little bit of passion fruit, maybe a little bit of guava.
03:37There's something certainly in the background, though, says the guy that usually reviews toys.
03:41There's something in the background that has almost like a raspberry flavor.
03:47If I was to go with the flavor, if my guess was, I would probably say it's a cross between lychee.
