01:12of the work that jada's done for his son before maybe we step into the arena and look at another
01:16final challenger from jada let's get this guy first measured up with my trusty tape measure
01:21t-hawk is one of the tallest fighters in the street fighter world standing impressively at
01:25seven foot seven and while maybe not standing seven feet he still stands at eight inches he also stands
01:32at 20 centimeters tall not the tallest fighter i know but a figure that was released the same time
01:37as t-hawk here's what he looks like with the recently looked at balrog top to the point of opening
01:42up t-hawk the tallest fighter that i had on my street fighter shelf happened to be that of sagat
01:47here's also what he looks like with blanca let's maybe bring in also vega and a couple of other
01:53examples as well here's what he looks like with both ken masters and also cammy i know i always end
01:57up forgetting these but along with the figure of t-hawk you also get yourself the scene selection
02:02backdrop it's fine if you have the space i don't have the space at all but just for that matter
02:08if
02:08you happen to have enough space on your shelf you could put that as your background you put t-hawk

02:12the front and you can really do that with all the other street fighter figures from jada as well
02:16again i just don't have that kind of space to work with what space i do have to work with

02:21accommodate the accessories that come included with the figure by far this is probably one of the
02:26coolest thing now he doesn't have any effect pieces like some of the other street fighter figures
02:30i've had in the past what he does have however though is an eagle one better though he has a
02:36posable
02:36eagle this blew my mind because actually getting this guy the packaging this tiny little bull
02:42like is it an eagle or is it a falcon maybe it's a falcon but i just expected i wrote

02:47completely that he was just going to be a staction figure like something you'd see with spirit from
02:52gi joe not that was the case at all pleasantly surprised i end up finding out though that this
02:58falcon or some sort of species of bird did actually have ball joints in his wings so you can move
03:04the wings
03:04around you can move them back and forth as well yeah it does unfortunately leave a gap space right
03:10here it doesn't really look the most natural even if you just bring the the wings back a little bit
03:15just try to block off it's always going to have really like these spaces in between but i mean i
03:20i
03:21would rather this be poseable than a bird that's realistic the legs do also move forward and back
03:27again something i wasn't expecting at all well maybe yeah the head you can't move back and forth
03:32having everything else on that came as a complete surprise to me a pleasant surprise what also surprised me
03:38too was that t hawk also comes included with a gauntlet this bracer can be replaced with any
03:44one of the bracers so he only has really two either one of the ones that he has on his
03:48forearms can be
03:49slid off in favor of this it's it really it's the exact same thing other than it just now has
03:55air holes
03:56is that so his arm can breathe don't be silly no what it actually is there's pegs on the inside

04:03or talons of the bird and you can attach them onto the gauntlet like that now you're probably not
04:11going to end up displaying this just i guess you could probably put a pole right here and have the
04:15bird displayed alongside t hawk if you have no plans to display it on the figure but what you may
04:20want to do though instead take one of his arms maybe we'll just decide on having it on this side
04:26remove one of the fists because you don't really need it right now and we're going to slide this off
04:31now you don't have to necessarily attach the bird right away what you do instead is just slide the
04:36gauntlet on him and once that's in place obviously put the hand back there he's not going to be doing
04:41much fighting if he's missing one hand get the figure of someone in a good pose where you would like
04:45to have him displayed and then take yourself the bird is it a falcon maybe it is a falcon and
04:52we'll
04:52just attach it back onto the holes now you don't necessarily again need to do this first before
04:58you attach the bird the bird stays perfectly in place now you can have t hawk's head turned
05:04that's going to look nice now forget about fighting this is the way i'm going to be displaying t hawk

05:09my shelf other ideas perhaps you can also entertain too like i did at the beginning of the review you
05:15can also swap out his hands for these flat hands hands are good for like kind of the opener of
05:21the
05:21match where he's posed with his his arms kind of extended and his hands are flat the one thing i
05:26did
05:26notice though about the hands i want to make sure i grab the right one here i'm removing a hand

05:32the way this does also slide off too so if you want to have the gauntlet on this side you
05:35can do that
05:35to a bracer bracelets whatever you really would want to call it one thing i noticed though is if you
05:40put
05:40in this hand it sort of has this weird unnatural pose to it like nobody really in their right mind
05:47is me walking around with their hands this flat you could also extend out the hand for maybe he
05:52he requests some peace maybe he doesn't really want to necessarily fight you could do it that way
05:56maybe he also could do a high five he has large hands so that high five if you have smaller
06:02hands
06:02it could be just completely envelop them i would likely display i feel the figure either probably
06:08with just with the close fist or then one better i would end up displaying in my feel with the
06:12bird
06:14one other thing that also comes in clue with t hawk is a swappable head sculpt so i'm just going
06:19to
06:19move everything out of the way here i would much rather i think display the figure with the kind of
06:24the stoic pose the way that he comes out of the packaging with however though if you didn't want
06:30an angrier t hawk there's always that option as well both have the headband both have the feathers
06:35feathers do look like they've probably been glued in place i wouldn't try to really pull those off
06:41swapping out the heads by the way you just hold on to the torso pop that off cleanly and
06:45pop then the new head in place i mean the head sculpt's fine there are certain heads when you
06:50look at the characters i like ken i think i kind of like the grimaced face there's certain characters
06:56though like even like balrog when we looked at balrog i end up liking the alternate head sculpt just a
07:00little bit more but i feel like i might just end up beelining it back to the kind of the
07:05more stoic
07:05heroic face and not necessarily going with the grimace in either case though the paint has really done
07:11well on this the stripes on the side of the cheek he's got one down in the middle of his
07:14chin as well
07:16i have a fond fairness a fond memory i feel of t hawk i still remember going through sears sears
07:22had
07:23like a setup of a super nintendo and i think i thought at the time that i saw they only
07:27had one
07:27game it was the new street fighter a game that had the cami and it also had t hawk and
07:33i remember
07:33playing i wasn't playing so much as t hawk but my friend steve was steve has since passed away so
07:38it's kind of a way like i'm looking at t hawk and it reminds me of my time with steve
07:42anyways though like the head sculpt is good for t hawk you can also remove the vest if you wanted
07:49to so you just can bring those arms back like this and the vest completely slides off i really
07:54was expecting that the vest would attach onto the back maybe either by a peg or a little bit of
07:58glue
07:58but no you can completely cleanly take off the vest it slides right off his arms
08:05i can't think of there being many people are going to be displaying their t hawk really without the
08:09vest but if you wanted to jada has at least done it in a way that you're not going to
08:13be leaving a
08:13mess behind you're not going to have to pry something off it does mean though like obviously
08:17the vest is going to be a little bit looser but i like at least the idea that you can
08:22take off the
08:22vest and let's just slide this back in place the vest is going to be matching the same color that
08:28he
08:28has for his pants i think they've color matched it pretty close this is clearly though molded in
08:33blue plastic this is kind of more the softer plastic but i think the colors are still pretty
08:37close they've done a nice job of also going in and painting in the belt buckle there in silver
08:41he also has of course the tasseled boots down below all things that make up t hawk
08:46i think the jeans again are sculpted really well for something that really doesn't require much
08:51detailing still to go in there you can actually see there's the seam and there's actually this
08:56additional texturing that they've also done to the surface of the plastic as well
09:01one tassel is a little bit more uh loose i wouldn't necessarily say loose but you can see
09:05like it's a little bit more frayed than than the other side it does look really like if you lift
09:09up
09:10the tassel like these are actually separate maybe from the boot that's underneath i mean i don't know
09:15if you would be able to really pry these off i mean you'd only really ruin the figure and if
09:19you do
09:19don't blame me it's a nice detailing that they've also done done to the top of that as well
09:24really again it's a nice looking figure of course he also does have his rings they have smartly really
09:29hidden the articulation where the bicep swivels right underneath the ringlet that he has on his
09:34arm and we'll talk about that right now for t hawk's articulation his head's going to be on a ball
09:38joint
09:39so it allows the head to rotate all the way around now with that you can also move it up
09:44and down
09:44back and forth there too but wait there's more right at the base of the neck and this is always
09:49again
09:50something that goes with the street fighter figures from jada there's a secondary ball joint at the
09:54base of the neck so you can also move that up and down as well just gives you a little
09:57bit more
09:57play with play space to work with when it comes to rotating these figures speaking of things to work
10:02with his arms rotate all the way around you really can't see it as well because he's got the you
10:07know
10:07the vest in the way but you can also move the arms in and outward as well so there's some
10:12additional posability there as well speaking of what i was saying earlier though that there's a
10:16bicep swivel but they have smartly hidden it underneath the ringlet here so while he does
10:21swivel it the arm at least looks finished like there's no abrupt cut right here nice use of
10:28having a detail that's already on the character in the game he has a single or i shouldn't say a
10:32double hinge on the elbow pulling off a double hinge but the size of his arms can be hard to
10:36do
10:37kind of start here bring it up first and then you can bend it all the way so it looks
10:42like he's
10:44actually maybe he's looking at a mirror if there was a mirror maybe there or maybe he's covering
10:47off the sun it's too bright for his eyes hands rotate all the way around again whether you want
10:51to use this hand or the other hand there is also a hinge that's allotted for that wrist you move

10:56back and forth there too speaking of range were we speaking of range i felt like we were there's also
11:02a good range of motion that you can do with the top of his torso you can do the same
11:06as well for the
11:07base of his abdomen too legs split they're not ratchets but you can see there's still ball joints
11:13there there's a swivel cut three cores the way up the thigh that allow the leg to rotate all the
11:18way
11:18around like with his arms the ot hawk does also have a double hinge in his knee he has no
11:25articulation
11:25here i actually thought that this would be a separate piece that would swivel but that doesn't
11:30seem to be the case he still though pulls off a hinge back and forth in his ankle which i
11:34did find
11:35was a little tight on the figure you can also rock it back and forth there too and the figure
11:39does also have toe articulation as well he has everything where it needs to be being of course
11:45he's also a slightly taller figure i think probably is one of the reasons why he also doesn't have with
11:48any other accessories again if you wanted to you could display the figure that's not really the sound
11:55of the bird you can display him again with or without the bird but again i was so surprised to
12:00see
12:00that the bird had some possibility to it it does lose something here i mean the realism is lost when
12:07when again it only is going to attach right here but you have to kind of ask yourself what was
12:12more
12:12important a bird that looked realistic that you couldn't do anything with or one that actually had
12:17some some possibility i mean still i feel like when it comes to his gauntlet they probably could have
12:22either just attached the bird completely onto the gauntlet where you would just slide that on slide that
12:27off there's not really much that you could do with the bird when you're not having it displayed on
12:31teahawk but again having the fact that this could do what it's doing right now that it can smooth its
12:37you know wings back and forth again has a really nice touch let's bring in again those other figures
12:42now sagat was the tallest figure i would have to go and look at the stats on those characters
12:46i know again teahawk is seven foot four sagat might be maybe around that height as well
12:51but he's certainly one of the biggest he is the biggest of the street fighter figures that
12:55we've gotten so far i do actually like i mean for the obvious thing like if you are collecting the
12:59street fighter from jada you'd want these figures to all be different various sizes there are various
13:04size characters in the game as well and that should translate in plastic and it does very well with
13:10its newest release their newest release fighter teahawk there are certain accessories i feel belong
13:16better together having the combination of teahawk with his angrier face and then looking at the bird
13:21it actually does look like the bird's done something wrong maybe he's clawed or pecked away
13:26at one of his vests maybe he's just pooped all over the place that's one of the problems you can't
13:30really have a bird freely flying around inside your living room that bird's probably going to be
13:34taking a crap now i know there are probably some people that have properly trained their birds and
13:38they're like bro have you ever had a bird you can train them the same way that you can train
13:42a dog
13:43or cat i don't think that's the case what i do think though is the case is while i don't
13:47want to have
13:47i don't want plans to display the figure with angrier expressioned teahawk i do like that with
13:53every jada toys release you get the options you get a choice you can do whatever you want you can
13:58also have the figure displayed with or without the eagle and the benefit of the way they've done this at
14:03least is that the gauntlet has to be removed in order to put the eagle on so that you're not
14:08always
14:09having to see these air holes on this it's something you can swap out for the cleaner look when you
14:14don't
14:14have plans to have the figure displayed with the bird one thing about the bird is i could see that
14:18some people would look at that and say well i don't like the way that they've designed the wings
14:22because having a peg like that means that there's a space between the wing and the rest of the body
14:27nature doesn't work that way birds aren't designed that way i don't know it's a toy it's a figure
14:34really what do you expect i still like the idea and again it comes as a complete surprise to me
14:39that the bird had posability in its wings that posability as well in its legs what do you guys

14:49from the folks over jada toys i don't think there's yet to be a figure that they've done for street
14:53fighter where i've looked at and thought i don't like this i like all the street fighter figures that
14:58we've looked at so far and i quite like teahawk he's going to look great on the shelf if you
