00:00Hello and welcome to this Queensland James weather update for Friday.

00:04We have fairly clear skies to end the week and not much happening today.

00:08Let's have a look as we go through Friday.

00:10There's hardly any wet weather at all, just a little bit up the top there.

00:13We do have a bit of a cooler outbreak that's moving through here.

00:16You'll notice why it's because of all of this that's down there

00:18that has now made its way up the coast so we're feeling it in the southeast.

00:23Is it chilly? No, but it's just a slight change in the air.

00:26Alright, so let's have a look at day by day.

00:28There's Friday, heading into Saturday, we're still fairly clear.

00:31Sunday, moving into Monday, there's Sunday and Monday we've got some heat that is coming back.

00:36We've got this developing as we move into Monday.

00:38Now, by Tuesday, all of this is starting to come in,

00:41so it's a feed of moisture coming in from the northeast.

00:44Let's watch what that is going to do as this pool of heat is sitting over us.

00:48As we go through Wednesday, we've got a bit of a trough line forming up in through here.

00:51We're not going to see a lot from a system that is crossing the country.

00:54We're more about this northeastern moisture that is coming in.

00:57So there's Wednesday, then potentially into Thursday next week is when we get that trough

01:01really firming up, meeting up with that moisture, showers and thunderstorms anywhere to the east

01:06of that trough line, potentially continuing into next Friday as well.

01:10Now, that, if you are underneath a thunderstorm, will add up to some heavy falls

01:14because we have that lovely feed of moisture coming in from the north there.

01:18Otherwise, it is hit and miss showers that are likely to be all through these eastern parts

01:22coming in through there.

01:23So heavy falls if you're directly under a storm or a heavy shower.

01:27Otherwise, hit and miss activity.

01:30Let's have a look at what we can expect from Brisbane in through here.

01:32Here is our cool change.

01:33We're 29-ish today, 26 as we go through Saturday.

01:37So there's just a hint of cooler air in the air.

01:40Not like the warmer temperatures we had yesterday and then moving as we move into next week.

01:46So that starts to warm up again as we go through Monday, Tuesday into Wednesday.

01:50Next week, Thursday, Friday, that is when the showers and thunderstorms are a possibility,

01:54but it's anywhere east of that trough line and it's hit and miss activity.

01:58So slight little cool down and then we warm up again next week before some wet weather comes
