00:00Hello! Mi nome è Morgana e è ora per me portare a Merlin's Cave. Come on!
00:19Merlin era un grande wizard che serviva in King Arthur's Court long, long ago.
00:54So come on, follow me, and let's see what stories we can find there today.
01:01This is it!
01:02Once upon a time, a band of monkeys lived atop a small island in the middle of a large river.
01:23Part of the band spent most of their time just napping and lazing around.
01:28Another group spent all day drinking coconut milk.
01:32And there was one monkey who never seemed to get enough to eat.
01:42Hey, where'd you learn your manners?
01:52I should be out of his range now.
01:57Hey, I've had just about enough out of you.
02:00It seems that monkey was also the practical joker of the group too.
02:05Come back here!
02:07Hey!
02:08Hey!
02:09Hey!
02:10Hey!
02:11Let's get him!
02:12Eat him!
02:13Come on!
02:14Come on!
02:15Let's get him!
02:16Come back here!
02:17You'll never catch me!
02:20Whoa!
02:21Let's get him over here!
02:24Let's get him over here!
02:27Whoa!
02:28Whoa!
02:29Whoa!
02:29Whoa!
02:30Whoa!
02:31Whoa!
02:32Whoa!
02:32Whoa!
02:33Whoa!
02:33Whoa!
02:34Whoa!
02:34Whoa!
02:35Whoa!
02:35Whoa!
02:36Whoa!
02:37Whoa!
02:38Whoa!
02:39Whoa!
02:40I didn't think monkeys ever fell out of trees.
02:43But this one's just a little too rambunctious for his own good.
02:46Don't you think?
02:47Well, there's no doubt that the monkeys ran that island, but the river was ruled by the crocodile.
02:53Things were not nearly so happy below the water.
03:00Oh, there's Mr. Crocodile now. He seems really worried about something, doesn't he?
03:07You see, his wife had fallen quite sick, and he had tried every medicine he could think of, but nothing seemed to help.
03:14His poor wife grew weaker and weaker by the day.
03:18His only hope was to find the lair of the giant catfish that rules the mouth of the river.
03:26It was said that this catfish was old and wise and could prescribe the right medicine for any sickness.
03:33And so Mr. Crocodile set out as fast as he could swim to search out the giant catfish.
03:38He had never ventured this far from home before, and this part of the river was most confusing to him.
03:44He didn't know which way to turn, but he kept pushing on and on until he could swim no more.
03:52You have done well, crocodile.
03:55Your wife is very lucky to have such a kind and considerate husband.
03:59Don't worry, I think I can help your wife get well.
04:04It was the giant catfish.
04:07He was very big and frightening, and Mr. Crocodile was trembling as he spoke.
04:12Oh, please, tell me what will make my wife feel better.
04:17You must find the liver of a monkey.
04:19That and only that will cure her.
04:23Oh, thank you, sir.
04:24I shall start looking for one right now.
04:26The crocodile thanked the catfish for his advice, and immediately started back to look for a monkey.
04:44This looks like a good place to start.
04:46There's usually monkeys all over this island.
04:48The first monkeys he met were climbing a tree to pick nuts.
04:57Excuse me, fellas.
04:58How would you like to take a ride to the other side of the river?
05:01Lots of nuts over there, you know.
05:03Bah!
05:04What do you think we are, stupid or something?
05:06Say, how would you like to go to the other side of the river?
05:14Lots of delicious mangoes and bananas over there, you know.
05:18How do you, what do you say?
05:19I'll give you a ride on my back.
05:20How about it?
05:23Hey, can't you hear me?
05:26And can't you see that I'm trying to take a nap?
05:29What's the matter with you crocodiles anyway?
05:30Now, beat it!
05:32Get out of here!
05:32Go ahead, beat it!
05:33Say, how about you?
05:36How'd you like to go across the river?
05:38Lots of coconuts over there, you know.
05:45Are they better than these?
05:46Well, sure they are.
05:48Why, they say the coconuts on the other side are the most delicious in the land.
05:51Really good.
05:52All right, let's get going.
05:54Come on, just hop on my back and let's go.
05:58Well, it looks like the crocodile has finally tricked a monkey into going with him.
06:03Or Hattie.
06:04Hey, where do you think you're going?
06:05You're not going to run off and leave me to mind the kids again.
06:08It's your turn to babysit.
06:12I don't think I'm going.
06:14I guess you're not.
06:15Well, Mr. Crocodile wouldn't give up.
06:20He tried and tried to trick a monkey into going with him, but those monkeys were either too smart or too busy to go.
06:27He had all but given up when...
06:31It was the monkey who was always eating and playing.
06:36There, you won't get my food.
06:46I was too fast for you.
06:48Oh, but I wasn't after your food.
06:50Crocodiles don't even like fruit, you know.
06:52Oh, no, that means I didn't have to gobble him up so fast.
06:58Every time I do that, I get a stomach ache.
07:01This monkey seemed to be nuttier than the others.
07:04Maybe he could be tricked into going.
07:07Say, I really feel sorry about spoiling your lunch for you like that.
07:10I sure would like to make it up to you.
07:12How would you like to go with me for a ride down the river?
07:15Really?
07:15Yeah, sure.
07:16Just hop on my back and I'll give you the deluxe tour, okay?
07:19Huh?
07:20Um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um.
07:22Woo-wee.
07:23And so the unsuspecting little monkey hopped on the crocodile's back and they began to cross the river.
07:30And when they got out to the deepest part and the crocodile was sure the monkey couldn't escape,
07:35he decided to confess his real intention.
07:41Hey, what's the matter?
07:42Why are we stopping here?
07:43Well, you see, I have a confession to make.
07:46I tricked you to get you out here on purpose.
07:57Hey, what's the matter with you?
07:59Is this your idea of a joke?
08:00I don't like it!
08:02It's no joke.
08:03It's just that I have a special request to ask of you.
08:05You see, I want your liver.
08:08Hey, what are you talking about?
08:10Well, I really don't know how to explain it to you.
08:13But you'll just have to take my word about its importance.
08:17Well, you better start explaining!
08:19All right, but you won't like it.
08:21You see, my wife's been quite sick and the great catfish told me that only a monkey's liver would make her well.
08:27Whoa!
08:28See, I told you you weren't going to like it.
08:37It was time to leave, but there was no place to go.
08:40Well, you have to hand it to him.
08:43When the chips were down, the little monkey came up with a pretty clever plan of his own.
08:47I know, no.
08:51I seem to have left my liver at home today.
08:53How embarrassing.
08:54Left your liver at home, did you say?
08:56Yeah, sure.
08:57You know how heavy monkey's livers are.
08:59Well, whenever I go out, I always leave mine hanging on a tree.
09:03You can't mean it!
09:05Surely you believe me?
09:11Why, if I still had that heavy old liver inside me, would I be able to jump around like this?
09:16Woo-hoo!
09:16Woo-hoo!
09:17Wah-ha!
09:18Woo-hoo-hoo-ee!
09:19Yahoo-ee!
09:20Woo!
09:21Wah-ha!
09:21Ah-ha-ha!
09:26Well, do you believe me now?
09:28No way could I bounce around like that if I still had my liver!
09:31Well, crocodiles aren't very smart, and the monkey was pretty convincing.
09:38Well, Mr. Crocodile, you believe me now, don't you?
09:42I guess I have no choice.
09:45But if I don't return home with a monkey's liver, my good wife will surely die.
09:51Well, why didn't you say so?
09:53Just take me home, and I'll be happy to climb up the tree and get my liver down for you.
09:57Oh, do you really mean it?
10:00Of course, it's the least I can do for you.
10:08Be right back!
10:10Okay.
10:10And so the clever monkey ran to the nearest fig tree, picked two of the fruits, and rushed back to the crocodile.
10:17Oh!
10:20Here you go!
10:21I even brought an extra one, just in case you need it.
10:24Oh, thank you, thank you.
10:26I know I can never repay you for your kindness.
10:28Don't mention it!
10:31Always ready to help a friend!
10:33Well, believing that the two figs were monkey livers, the crocodile rushed back to his home.
10:38Here you go, dear.
10:39I brought you some monkey livers, just like the great catfish told me to do.
10:43Here.
10:44Here.
10:51Early the next morning...
10:53Whoopee!
10:54She's cured!
10:55She's cured!
10:56Ha, ha, ha, ha!
10:57Whoopee!
10:58She's all right!
10:59She's cured!
11:00Well, would you look at that?
11:02Mrs. Crocodile is as fit as a fiddle.
11:07That's right.
11:08Mrs. Crocodile was completely cured.
11:10How do you suppose that happened?
11:12Well, it didn't have anything to do with either monkey livers or figs.
11:16When she saw how much her husband loved her and how hard he worked to try and make her well,
11:21that's all the medicine she needed.
11:23Oh, yes.
11:26As for the monkey island, things haven't changed much there.
11:30Most of them are still sleeping or playing around.
11:41Uh-oh.
11:44Ow!
11:45Ow!
11:48Oh!
11:49And that was the last of my coconuts!
11:51Hey!
11:52Oh, wait till I get you!
11:55Ta-da!
11:55Ta-da!
11:56Ta-da!
