00:00Hi guys and welcome to Drivespark. As you can see we are at BIC and we are here to drive this. Now

00:17this is the world's fastest MG and this is the MG Syberster. Price for this car is 75 lakh rupees

00:25X showroom and let's quickly start this video and tell you how exactly does this car drive and what

00:30all do you get with the all-new MG Syberster.

00:37So let's start talking about the front end of the car and the very first thing you'll notice

00:40are the sleek looking headlamp unit. Now they have a very fancy looking DRL plus this is a

00:45bi-functional LED projector that has high and low beam. If you see over here the car sits really

00:49really low. Ground clearance should be around 140 mm but I mean it is definitely a low car so you

00:57have to be a little careful. At the front you can see you get this front splitter. Now you have the

01:01MG logo front parking camera right over here and if you move on to the side of the vehicle you will

01:05notice that this thing gets this massive 20 inch wheel. Now obviously the tire this has a staggered

01:11tire setup so you have a 245 section tire at the front and a 275 section at the back. Obviously the

01:16power because of the power 40-60 split. These are really P0 tires they are really nice grip is

01:24amazing. You also get Brembo brakes over here with four piston calipers. This thing stops phenomenal.

01:31I mean this thing is just a beast. Over here what you can see is not a fake vent it's an actual vent

01:36you can see over here. So this basically uh with the low pressure that pressure that's created inside

01:41the wheel well. This thing pushes the air out. You can see you get a side split over here and you can

01:47see you get a 100th anniversary badge on the side skirt right over here. Let me quickly show you the

01:54key of the vehicle. So this is how the key of the Syverster looks like. You have a couple of options.

01:59You can open the doors. Let me just open the door for you. Scissor doors on both sides. Let me open that

02:04one also. You can open it via the remote. There you go. Scissor doors. Convertible soft top 75 lakh

02:11rupees. What else do you need? 500 bhp of power 725 nm of peak top and come over here. Let me show you

02:19what you get on the rear section. So you have a boot obviously it opens up. The button is right over

02:25here and this is a 200 or approximately a 230-35 litres of boot space that you get hydraulic struts

02:32with the boot and the boot lid is not electric. You get a connected led tail light that has this

02:39arrow kind of a design. Now this is for the indicator. This converts as the indicator but

02:43this obviously glows up. This entire thing is the tail light. Looks fancy and at the back also you get

02:48this rear diffuser which is actually very very nice. Overall you have four color options. What you see

02:55over here is the yellow. You have a red, you have a gray and then you have a black as well. You have two

03:00loop options. One is a black and the other one is a maroon. So the maroon looks absolutely fantastic.

03:06So let's quickly go on the inside and check out the car. Now before you go on the inside you can

03:10see over here these two structures are basically your rollover bars. It's not a bar obviously you

03:17have it inside it. So just in case if the car topples this will take the load of the car and you can

03:22see you get this wind deflector which can be manually adjusted right over here.

03:31Now on the inside what you see you get a single uh interior option. You have these bucket seats

03:36that look really really awesome. It looks really fantastic and these both seats are electronically

03:42adjustable 8-way adjustable. You have memory functions for both seats. Seats can be controlled

03:46from here. Let me quickly sit inside and show you. Okay my height is 61. It's a little difficult for me

03:53to get in and out. So to close the door you would just have to press this button on for this side and

03:59one more quick thing. So the roof of this car closes in just 10 seconds. Let me do that for you.

04:05There you go. So this is how the roof comes up and goes down in just 10 seconds. It's a pretty fast thing.

04:11There you go. The roof is locked and we'll just

04:19get the roof down 10 seconds over here.

04:27Yep, the top is open. So let's talk over the inside. As you can see you get Alcantara and leather

04:32finish. You get this black kind of a stitching. You have a Bose surround sound system over here

04:36which looks very very nice. Then surprisingly you get a manual IRVM. That's something that we really

04:45did not want. A manual IRVM in this. So screen setup as you can see it's a 10.25 inch screen over here.

04:52That's your cluster. A 7 inch over here. A 7 inch over here. A lot of information and then you have

04:58again a 7 inch screen right over here. This is for park. That's for reverse neutral drive.

05:03This is to open the door. That's for the roof. Very practical cup holders over here.

05:07Cubby space over here and if I can just open the door once again. You don't have door pockets but

05:11you can see over here you get this space that is right over there. You can get this space over here.

05:17I think you can close the doors from there as well. There's a button over there but it's hard to reach.

05:21So obviously if you're inside the car you'll do that. When you get out of the car you can press that

05:25or you can close it with the remote. So overall it's a very very fantastic car. However it gets

05:31used to getting sitting inside this. You have a flat bottom steering wheel again finished in this

05:35red leather. You have a super sport button over here, mode button over here. The paddle shifters

05:39over here change the modes. Steering mounted controls are nice. To start the car you just double tap

05:45the brake and the car is ready to roll. And I think this completes the interiors. Again very very

05:52fascinating car. Very fascinating interiors and especially the specs in this price. Let's quickly

05:58get out and if I can just open this up for you. And obviously it's a dual motor setup so you don't

06:06get a frunk but I'll just show you what you get on the inside. There you go. There's actually nothing.

06:12You get some, I think this opens up like this, your wiper fluids and all of that. Your wiper fluid is here,

06:20brake fluid is over there and there you go. No frunk space in this car but yeah you get a boot.

06:27Uh enough for two people to carry their luggage. So yeah let me just quickly run you through the

06:32specs once again. So it gets a 77 kilowatt hour battery pack. That's a very thin battery pack that

06:37it gets. 510 PS is what it produces. 725 nm of peak torque is what it generates. 0 to 100 comes up in just

06:463.2 seconds which is mind-blowing. So we've already driven this car on the track and now let us sit in

06:53the car and drive it and tell you how exactly it is to drive. 3,2,1

07:06that will cross 200 even cross 200. Just look at the way it's going.

07:18It's not supposed to be because it's an instant reaction. I think the good part about this is

07:40that when you keep it off it will be off until you switch it on. No matter if you switch off the car

07:46the ADA system is very nice. It's calibrated as per India. The traction control is calibrated as per

07:51Indian road conditions and obviously as I mentioned it's slightly detuned as far as the top speed goes.

07:59We're not allowed to push it right now because of the rules that VIC has set because of wet weather conditions.

08:07But trust me that H is there to just belt it around. I know he's sitting next to me and he won't allow

08:16that but still. This thing corners really hard. I mean though the suspension is slightly on the softer

08:24side not very very hard. It's not very stiff but when you're cornering it is tuned in such a way that

08:30it will actually just hold the lines and since this has a 50-50 weight distribution and a 60-40 power

08:39split between the front and the rear wheels. So we're going to do a last lap and we're not going to

08:47belt it hard. Sorry for that guys but it's protocol due to wet weather conditions.

08:59It's a little cramped on the inside but honestly it does not feel that bad. Once you start driving

09:05it and you have to drive one to experience what I'm telling you. The way this thing handles, the way

09:11this thing corners is something extraordinary. It is just amazing.

09:29Well this is a very very interesting car. Once again let me tell you the price of it. 75 lakh rupees

09:34is what you have to pay. That's the egg showroom price. With 75 lakh rupees you get as I mentioned

09:39a soft top convertible scissor doors and obviously 510 PS of power. So if you want to know anything
