00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark. We are at the launch of the all-new Lexus ES500E.
00:07Now, they have launched a car at a price of Rs. 90 lakh to be precise, 89.99 lakh and
00:12this is a
00:13CBU unit. Let me just quickly show you around the car so that you can have a look. It's an
00:18EV and
00:18obviously they have said that later on they will get the ES350H which will be the hybrid version
00:25of this car. So that is how the car looks like from the outside, that's how it looks like from
00:29the side and yeah at the front you get the signature Lexus DRL right over here with the
00:37headlamp unit over here and you have cornering lights right over there. Obviously the grill
00:42is shut in the front because it's an EV. That is the camera. It's placed very low so I think
00:48there will be some dirt that will be sticking to it and I think that's the radar for the
00:52ADAS as well that works in sync with that camera over there. Now, if you move to the side you
00:58get this 21 inch alloy wheel that have a beautiful design to it. It's a diamond cut alloy wheel
01:06and if you notice that there are wheel arches but it's not very prominent. Apart from that
01:11if you notice over here you get this kind of an element on the door that looks nice. It gives
01:16it that sporty kind of look ends over here and if you notice that the roof is sloping and
01:22joining all the way to the boot. So it's kind of a notchback thing that looks good. If you move
01:27to the
01:27rear over here obviously you get the ES500E all-wheel drive. This is an all-wheel drive
01:31so it's a dual motor setup. You have the Lexus badge right over here with the connected LED
01:35tail light and it's wrapped around. I think that is a part of the tail light as well.
01:42Let us quickly open the boot. It's an electronic boot and boot space is pretty much the same.
01:50It's kind of unknown and there are some bits that are exposed over here that could have been
01:54covered is what I feel. Apart from that there you have the spare tire and your tools to change them.
02:04Since it's an electronic boot obviously it shuts on its own. There's no rear wiper. You have defoggers
02:10over here. You have a shark fin antenna. You do not get a full panoramic sunroof however that would
02:14have been better but you get this kind of a big single pane sunroof. Let me quickly take you on
02:19the
02:20inside. That is how the door handles are. It gets soft closed doors. Those are the interiors. You get
02:24a sun line that's manual. Should have been electric and that is how the interiors look like. We have
02:31some wooden texture over here. Soft touch material. This is how you open the door. You press this or
02:35you pull this two times if it's not working. Again Lexus makes like wonderful mats. Those are your three
02:44adjustable headrests and that is the sunroof. It's a big sunroof. However you get an armrest over here
02:51that does not get any touch display. Plus you don't get a rear zone for the AC. Two type C
02:56charging
02:56sockets over here. And you get this Mark Twinson sound system that actually has some light on the
03:04inside. It's part of the ambient light feature that looks good. You have Lexus right over here. Apart from
03:13that let me quickly go on the other side of the car. And if I can just show you the
03:21interiors there are
03:21actually some people sitting. So in the meanwhile let me tell you the specifications of this car. Now
03:28this produces around 380 bhp. It's an all-wheel drive. It's a complete CPU unit. And this thing
03:35can accelerate from 0 to 105.5 seconds. It gets a 75 kWh battery. Dual motor setup. And yes those
03:45are the
03:45specifications. Actually it's an international model. So obviously it's a CPU unit. But you can
03:49see you have this 14 inch touchscreen. Display right over there. Center console is pretty nice.
03:57There's wooden finish all over. There's an ambient light that's going around over there on the dashboard.
04:01Soft touch material everywhere. You got a flat bottom steering wheel. And apart from that those are
04:09your controls for your parking brake. Your auto hold. And some storage space over there. You can slide
04:16that thing back and get some more storage space. So yeah those are the interiors. And yes this is the
04:23all-new lexus es 500e. Well launch price rupees 90 lakh ex showroom. I hope you like this video. If
