00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark and in today's video we are going to talk about Bajaj Auto
00:04and their new plans for the year 2026. Now as we all know that Bajaj is reportedly preparing
00:09an aggressive product expansion strategy for 2026 with plans to launch up to 8 new motorcycles this
00:16year. Now the upcoming lineup is expected to include new motorcycles that are ranging from
00:20125cc, it can also get fresh sub-brands, an adventure motorcycle and multiple updates to
00:26the existing Pulser portfolio. With these launches Bajaj actually aims to introduce new nameplates
00:32while significantly strengthening its presence across its segment in the Indian market. Bajaj
00:37is already one of India's leading motorcycle manufacturers and the company actually appears
00:42to set an accelerating growth this year. Managing director Raji Bajaj recently confirmed in a CNBC
00:48TV18 interview that several new products are in development indicating a major expansion of the
00:53brand in the Indian market. One of the biggest highlights will be an update to the iconic
00:58Pulser lineup. The Pulser range is expected to move to a new platform that could underpin 125cc,
01:04150cc and 220cc motorcycles, bringing an update, styling, improved engineering and modern technology
01:10to the motorcycle. In addition, Bajaj also believed that working on a new sub-brand that may debut with
01:16a 125cc and a 250cc powertrain targeting a wider range of buyers. Now the company is also likely to
01:22enter the adventure motorcycle segment with a new ADV model, potentially featuring a larger capacity
01:28engine and Bajaj is currently selling motorcycles on the nameplate brand including Pulser, Dominar,
01:34KTM, Husqvarna and Triumph. Reports also suggest that Bajaj is developing a new 350cc motorcycle
01:41designed to fall under the revised GST 2.0 taxation slab. Now this new engine platform is expected to be
01:48shared with KTM and Triumph models and could arrive as early as April 2026, making it an important step
01:54in platform sharing across partner brands. Bajaj also plays a significant role in both domestic and
02:00international market. Introducing multiple new motorcycles will not only expand Bajaj's portfolio
02:05but also help the company stay aligned with the evolving customer preferences
02:09and market trends. These upcoming models are also expected to introduce new technologies,
02:14improved performance and enhanced rider focus features as well. The company has also established
02:20a strong presence in the electric mobility space with the Chetak EV scooter. Additionally,
02:25reports also indicate that the company is developing a new EV platform that can support both electric
02:30scooters and motorcycles at the same time and this means that they are signalling a broader long-term
02:36electrification strategy for India. Despite its extensive lineup, Bajaj currently lacks a dedicated
02:41adventure or an off-road focused motorcycle in its lineup. Its flagship model, the Domina 400,
02:47is primarily a highway tourer and as a result, expectations are high from the brand to get a new
02:52adventure motorcycle this year which could either carry the Pulsar nameplate or debut as an entirely
02:57new model. And that was everything you needed to know about Bajaj's plan for the year 2026 with new
03:04models, new motorcycles and upcoming products. I hope this video was informative. If it was informative,
