00:00Hi guys and welcome to another video and as you all know that in India we have big families and
00:05big family means that we need big cars and big cars are relatively expensive. So we have a couple
00:11of MPVs around in the market that are really affordable and that cater to the budget of the
00:16middle class family. Now Toyota just has the car for it. It is the Toyota Rumion which is essentially
00:22a rebadge version of the Marty Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota has recently launched a more affordable
00:27variant of its budget MPV. Now the new e-variant of the Rumion is priced at just Rs 9.55
00:33lakh
00:34ex-showroom and is available for sale from dealerships. Previously the S trim served as
00:39the base variant in the Rumion lineup and now it is the e-variant. So now let us tell you
00:44a little
00:44bit about the e-variant. So as you all know that the Rumion is a rebadge version of the Ertiga
00:49and
00:49it is one of the most affordable MPVs in the Indian market. With the introduction of the new e-variant
00:54the model becomes even more accessible for buyers. Now the new variant will go up on sale with the SG
01:00and the V trims that is already there in the current lineup. Now if we talk about the powertrain
01:04obviously the e-variant gets no changes in the powertrain. It is powered by the same 1.5 litre
01:09naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 103 PS of power and 139 M of peak torque.
01:16It comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and Toyota claims that this can give a fuel efficiency
01:20of 20.51 km to a litre. Which is actually good because obviously if you have a big car and
01:27you're
01:27looking for a budget car then obviously you will keep a track of the mileage and this is a really
01:32good mileage giving car. Now it also has a CNG variant but the entry level trim does not get the
01:36CNG variant or an option for an automatic transmission. Other than that the other variants
01:40get a CNG variant and they also have the automatic transmission option in that. Now the new budget
01:47trim for the 7-seater MPV is similar to the LXI trim of the Ertica. On the exterior it gets
01:53a chrome
01:53slacked grille, LED tail lamps, halogen headlights, 15-inch steel wheels and silver wheel caps.
01:59Obviously you do not get an alloy with this. Now the interior the Rumeon e-trim features a dual
02:04tone beige slash black interior theme with silver inserts all around to give it that premium look.
02:10It does not include an infotainment system and instead features an analog instrument cluster.
02:14Now the air conditioning system is controlled through physical buttons. You do not get
02:17automatic climate control and the steering mounted controls are not available in this variant so
02:22you don't have steering mounted controls as well. Now if we talk about the convenience and safety
02:26features now in terms of practicality it is a very practical car. It's a good big MPV with a lot
02:31of storage space. It gets 60-40 split rows with one touch recline and a side function adjustable
02:37headdress for all three. It also gets a cabin lamp, a front row with 12 volt power socket and a
02:43smartphone storage spaces as well. Now despite the entry level it still offers an essential
02:48convenience for features including tilt and adjustable steering, power windows with the
02:53auto opt-on function for the driver and it also gets a central locking system. Now on the safety
02:58front the Rumeon e-trim comes equipped with six airbags as standard. It gets ESC, rear parking
03:04sensors, hill load assist, ABS and EVD as well. So at just 9.55 lakh I think this is one
03:11of the best
03:12variants that you can buy. If you're looking for a budget MPV I think the Toyota Rumeon
03:16e-variant is just the one for you. Well it now starts at 9.55 lakh at showroom and the
03:21top
03:22of the line V trim is priced at 13.86 lakh. The MPV competes with rivals such as the Martin
03:26Suzuki Ertega, VXL6, Renault Triber and the upcoming Nissan Gravite that is going to launch
03:32in the Indian market really soon. So yes this was everything you needed to know about the
03:36Toyota Rumeon e-variant which is the new base variant of the Rumeon for India now starting at
03:42just 9.55 lakh. I hope you liked this video, I hope this video was informative. If it was do
03:47like,
03:48share and subscribe and I will see you in the next video very soon.
