00:24who really love off-roading and dirt biking now Ducati is set to launch the
00:29Desmo 450 MX in the Indian market by this month and the brand has already teased
00:34the upcoming off-road focus motorcycle now this will be Ducati's first
00:38production motorcycle bike for the global market delivered from a
00:41championship winning Ducati motocross team machine marking the brand's entry
00:46into the competitive off-road racing segment now the Ducati Desmo 450 MX is a
00:51non-street legal motorcycle designed exclusively for motocross circuit
00:55racing now as a result it features a minimal and functional design but comes
01:00equipped with a high performance component and also a lightweight chassis the bike
01:04features a typical high mounted front fender a single piece flat seat and a
01:09compact fuel tank common design elements that are found in other motocross
01:12motorcycles as well now let's come to the main thing that is the engine of this
01:17motorcycle now it is powered by a 450 cc single cylinder engine that features
01:22titanium intake valves and has four valve setup now this single cylinder engine
01:28produces 64 bhp of power at 9400 rpm and 53.5 mm of peak torque at just 7500 rpm
01:37now imagine a single cylinder engine that is 450 cc that produces 64 bhp of power and
01:4353.5 mm of peak torque imagine the power is there but imagine the torque on this
01:48motorcycle especially for something that is so light now the Desmo frame is
01:52developed using lightweight aluminum frame and subframe helping the
01:55motorcycle achieve a better control and handling over challenging motocross
01:59terrains now if we talk about the electronics on this motorcycle now the
02:03bike gets a quick shifter and it also gets two standard riding modes riders can
02:07also access the advanced setting through the Ducati's x-link app allowing them to
02:11configure the throttle response Ducati traction control engine braking control
02:15and yes this bike also gets launch control that can be programmed through
02:19that app now let's come to the safety and components now for suspension the
02:23motorcycle is equipped with a 49 mm front usd fork that has 310 mm of travel at
02:30the front while the rear has a cast swing arm with a mono shock offering 301 mm of
02:34travel braking duties are handled by Brembo braking system this gets a 260 mm
02:39front disc and a 240 mm rear disc now what else can we expect from this
02:44motorcycle the other highlights that include are an advanced electronics from
02:48Ducati's traction control system the offered performance the bike also
02:52features a 21 inch front wheel and a 19 inch rear wheel which is obviously
02:57wrapped around enduro tires which gives maximum grip stability on rough
03:02terrain now this offered focused Ducati motorcycle will be sold exclusively
03:07for racing and circuit purpose hence the Ducati Desmo 450 MX is expected to be
03:12priced somewhere between the 12 lakh rupee ex-showroom mark which is pretty
03:16much on the higher side and as we know that this bike is expected to launch by the
