00:51Now, with this new update, Kia has expanded the automatic lineup by introducing a new diesel automatic variant along with
00:57the turbo petrol 7-speed DCT option.
01:00And now you have a petrol automatic and a diesel automatic just under 10 lakh rupees ex-showroom.
01:05Now, why exactly are people focusing more on automatic gearboxes?
01:09Well, with the rising traffic congestions in the city, many buyers are increasingly preferring automatic transmission over manual transmission.
01:15Because in an automatic transmission, your left foot is practically unused, it is in a relaxed position, and when you're
01:22in heavy stop-and-go traffic, well, automatic is definitely easier.
01:26It offers better comfort, smooth drivability, and obviously a reduced driving fatigue in daily traffic conditions.

01:50The 1.5-liter diesel engine is now paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission,
01:54and the variants that it is available in is the HTE optional, the HTK optional, the HTK plus, and the
02:02HTK plus optional variants of the Sonnet.
02:05Now, additionally, the HTKO and the HTK plus optional variant are now available with a 1-liter turbo petrol engine
02:11that is made into a 7-speed DCT transmission.
02:15Now, introducing automatic variants below 10 lakh rupees price point is a very good strategic move by the company to
