00:00I think it's a bit early, but I mean, from what the government has said, there's no restrictions set in place or curfews or anything of that nature.
00:11So we don't really anticipate any sort of negative fallout as it is right now.
00:19Sandy shared his thoughts as Iconic Mass launched its 2025 presentation virtually, Tropical Bliss for Tobago's October Carnival.
00:28I think for most citizens, it would have caught us by surprise, because it's not something that we would have foreseen.
00:35But I would like to believe that, you know, this is a responsible decision made by the government or made by the Toronto Police Service in response to some level of threats.
00:46Despite the national climate, Sandy says, the planning continues and the Tobago October Carnival remains on track.
00:54We're just allowing the police and the government to do what they have to do.
00:58In the meantime, we as mass creators, we will continue to plan full speed ahead to ensure we execute a safe carnival for Tobago in October.
01:09Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
