00:00We wish to assure all the residents and visitors that the safety and security and the well-being of the Tobago public is our highest priority.
00:10We just want to ensure that we work closely with the agencies, that's the law enforcement and the TTPS, to make sure that they can maintain law and order during the period.
00:24Mr Williams is calling on the public not to panic.
00:27We urge the public to stay calm, adhere to all the directives and I think everything should be okay for Tobago.
00:35Mr Williams is advising law enforcement to be on the alert in light of criminals wanting to hide out in Tobago.
00:43Due to the fact that within the recent weeks Tobago have reported a reduction in criminal activities, I think it should not have a drop off.
00:53We have to keep in mind though that because of what's happening in Trinidad, the criminal elements may seek refuge in Tobago.
01:03So that is something that we have to keep in mind.
01:05Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
