00:00A total of 14 premises were searched during the exercise, while no arrests were made at the time of the operation.
00:08A number of items were discovered and seized for further investigation.
00:12Items seized included one Glock pistol magazine containing two rounds of 9mm ammunition, one AR-15 rifle with 20 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and one magazine, approximately 330 grams of cannabis, one 70-inch flat-screen television Samsung, one total power washer, one total whacker.
00:39The exercise was coordinated, intelligence-led exercise named CLIMAX, conducted in the Mariah District and its environs, with a particular focus on the St. Thomas area.
00:52The operation was executed by officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service from various divisions, in conjunction with members of the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force in Tobago.
01:03Meantime, in another matter, one woman is dead after consuming a cup of tea.
01:08Police officers responded to a report at Tophill Mason Hall, where they met and interviewed the woman's male friend, age 36, who stated that around 11.30pm on Friday, Ayana Castana, age 41, complained of stomach pains after consuming a cup of moringa tea.
01:29She collapsed and died on the spot.
01:31An autopsy is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
