00:00Trinidad and Tobago's young cricketers are preparing for the regional under-15 tournament
00:04which bowls off next week in Antigua.
00:07Team manager Kelvin Mohamed is satisfied with the work put in by the players ahead of the
00:1150 over matches.
00:12For the last month or so we have been training, doing some games, doing some what we see happening
00:18here this afternoon.
00:19And they have stuck to their plan, we have seen some development taking place that from
00:25last year we had a team that maybe we didn't win the tournament last year but I think we
00:30have a really balanced team this year in terms of making it to the finals and maybe eventually
00:35winning the tournament.
00:36Coaching the team is Nassar Mohamed who has his work cut out as crunch time approaches.
00:41And how good is the TNT squad?
00:43For this year I must say we have a pretty balanced team, we have a lot of runners into
00:47the team, we have up to guys who is opening batting who can bowl a bit for us.
00:53So I have a lot of guys I can go to so yeah I am pretty confident with all our own team.
01:00Coaching at this level is nothing new to Mohamed who enjoys working with the youngsters.
01:05Whatever experience he has gained so far is being applied to this batch of cricketers
01:09heading to Antigua.
01:10Last year was my first tournament so looking at it and with that experience now I know
01:15how to prepare for the tournament.
01:18It's basic really in terms of batting and bowling so what I am doing right now is preparing
01:23the guys to play that long version of 50 overs, the bat 50 overs and to bowl to get
01:30the guys out.
01:31They are areas that I am working on right now, I am pretty happy with it.
01:34The national team leaves these shores on Sunday to play the opening match against Guyana on
01:39Tuesday.
