00:00 Tobago Medal of Honor gold for distinguished and outstanding service to
00:05 Tobago in this fair of sport was bestowed upon former national football
00:09 coach Bertil Sinclair.
00:12 We're leaving to go Panama this Saturday.
00:14 Sinclair qualified to get the third trophy.
00:19 I am the only coach that coach every national team.
00:25 From under 13, right up to the senior team twice.
00:28 Lot of people.
00:30 And we were going to Puerto Rico.
00:32 When I picked the team in the morning,
00:34 Bertil was there too.
00:36 He was 10 years old.
00:37 I remember very well.
00:39 When I picked the team, the manager asked me,
00:44 "Why give me that little ball?"
00:45 I told him, "Who picked the team?"
00:48 And he said, "It's you."
00:49 I remember when we go to Puerto Rico,
00:52 I scored a goal.
00:54 Tobago Medal of Honor gold for distinguished and outstanding service
00:59 to Tobago in this fair of culture was bestowed on Beverly Ramsey Moore.
01:04 Mrs. Ramsey Moore is the first female president of Pantrinbago.
01:08 Black Rock is a community where we have the oldest playing steel band
01:13 on the island of Tobago, which is Cats and Jammers.
01:16 And my father and seven of my uncles
01:20 were foundation members of the steel orchestra.
01:24 And we love to say that Cats and Jammers is the pride of Black Rock.
01:30 And so I got involved in organization and management in that orchestra,
01:35 which eventually led me to becoming the president of Pantrinbago.
01:43 Some of the other awardees included

02:21 Receiving the chief secretary's award for outstanding contribution
02:26 and a significant achievement in this fair of sport,
02:29 National Netball coach, Mrs. Kyla Keith Wilson.
02:33 My qualifications allow me to coach any discipline
02:37 because I've done international training and certified.
02:40 And so, however, my passion is netball.
02:44 Although I can play basketball, although I can coach basketball,
02:47 the love for young women and their development, their growth
02:51 is what really have me zeroing in on netball.
02:55 Anybody knows me, I don't do it for recognition.
02:57 I do it because I just genuinely love.
03:00 I'm not sure if I love the girls more or netball more, right?
03:04 But I know there is a love.
03:05 The awards took place at the Shore Park Complex.
03:09 Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
