Tourism Minister Randall Mitchell..has hailed Tobago's third October Carnival as a success.
TV6 spoke with the Minister.. as he chipped through the streets of Scarborough on Saturday night, during Pan Trinbago's Rhythm, Steel and Powder event.

00:00Thousands of spectators lined the streets and followed their favorite steel pans along
00:15Milford Road and Scarborough.
00:17We caught Minister of Tourism Randall Mitchell dancing to the sweet sounds of the national
00:22instrument along with Tourism Secretary Tashia Borris and other supporters.
00:29This pan and powder parade, it is a signature Pan Trinbego event.
00:33We have it across Trinidad.
00:35We will have one in San Fernando in November.
00:38And I'm really happy to be here with my Tobago brothers and sisters to celebrate the steel
00:44pan and to celebrate with all steel pan lovers.
00:47The Tourism Minister said he has received good news from hoteliers in Tobago which augurs
00:53well for the tourism industry.
00:56The hoteliers have gotten some really good feedback.
00:59They're almost at capacity.
01:01Which is, you know, I'm happy to see how the Tobago Carnival has developed.
01:06It is really causing a boon to the tourism sector here in Tobago.
01:12The pikes have been rolling seamlessly.
01:14And I'm really happy to see such a bumper carnival.
01:19And I'm really happy to see how it is doing and how it is developing over the years.
