00:36The pan and powder took place on Saturday night through the streets of Scarborough, much to the delight of hundreds
00:43of patrons.
00:44The medium pan band finals, which have been held in Tobago for several years, would not be held next year.
00:52Confirmation has come from Pantero and Tobago President Beverly Ramsey-Moore.
00:56We have some logistics to work out.
00:59Last year it was terrible with the boat situation.
01:03The ferry transportation, it cost us a lot of money.
01:07We had to house bands in Tobago, in Trinidad, for about a week to get to the finals.
01:15I mean, it was so terrible.
01:17And it is something that we have to sort out with the court authority about when bands are going on
01:22dry dock.
01:23When it's carnival time and we need the ferry to move bands between Trinidad and Tobago, you know, it's very
01:29difficult when they are going on dry dock.
01:32So I am hoping that for 2027 we do not have that problem.
