00:00 It's fast, it's furious and there are only 25 of them in the world.
00:07 And this weekend local racing fans are in for a treat.
00:10 This country's fastest motor racer will sit behind the wheels of the infamous Renault
00:14 RS01 and the Motorsport International Festival in Nellifield.
00:18 We have the very first International Motorsport Festival in Toronto and Tobago.
00:24 It's the very first of its kind which is a combination of drag exhibitions, drifting
00:31 exhibitions and a very, very grand and big international field of circuit racing champions
00:37 from around the world.
00:38 And while there were 16 international racers including the Caribbean's best are hoping
00:42 to race Boodram's track record, the son of the legendary Franky Boodram shows little
00:47 concern for their aspirations.
00:49 We also have the secret weapon on the port.
00:52 In the event that the foreigners feel they can take the track record away from myself,
00:56 which that and the Red Horse Friday will not see, but you never know.
01:00 We do have a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 car that I've acquired for the team.
01:05 In fact the eight-time national champion is highly aware that his biggest rival might
01:10 come from within his own camp or his own seed for that matter.
01:13 Well it's going to end up, it's going to come down to that because you know just like Formula
01:17 1 it will be a situation where the Lambo will be sitting somewhere on the grid alongside
01:22 the RS01 and yes, we're going to have, I guess when the flag drops we're going to have no
01:26 father and son in that because young blood and I had to run for my life.
01:31 Of course I've taken Franky Zachary just as a tender child, took him out of karting, took
01:36 him into shifter karting and moved him into F1600 single seater in the United States and
01:41 then we took him to Formula 4 in Mexico.
01:43 We had a 15, 16 year old Trinidadian boy already in F4 in Mexico and other parts of the world
01:50 and now we have brought him to GT3 racing in the future.
01:53 GT3 racing is really the highest level of motor racing you'll probably see in the region
01:58 of Latin America.
02:00 The 3D Festival which begins on Friday is projected to be the biggest motorsport event
02:04 in this country in over two decades.
02:08 Reflecting on this, Woodram is excited to thrill his fans on home soil.
02:12 The reality is that motorsport was on the decline.
02:14 It was over eight years, it was taken away by the government and it was then released
02:19 again and it was a whole new born project that had to be redone.
02:23 So we're asking everybody in Toronto to come out and support us in red, white and black
02:28 as we need that support for the foreign competition.
02:33 As these gentlemen get ready to start their engines, we the fans will buckle up and hope
02:38 the best team wins.
