Top cyclist Nicholas Paul dominated the headlines on the final day which had its bit of spills and thrills...
Transcript
00:00The Carnival of Speed had some memorable moments, and in the race to the line, there is always the possibility of a collision.
00:07The heats of the Kairin saw Madonna Wheelers Phoebe Sandy and Tashana Dalga from Swiniam collide on the track.
00:16Sandy's feet caught in the pedal as they lay on the track with the emergency attendees rushing to the scene.
00:22Sarah Orban of Canada went on to win the heat.
00:25Dalga eventually got up, but Sandy took some time before she was assisted up and placed on a stretcher.
00:31The officials are just trying to make sure that she's okay, and that's a good sign.
00:37She's able to at least get up and actually at least move on her own steam there.
00:47However, that would not be the only collision on the day with yet another cyclist taking a tumble in the final.
00:53The final was eventually won by Iona Moore of Great Britain, who also won the match sprint.
01:08Dahlia Palmer of Team DPS was disqualified.
01:11Over in the men's sprint final, after Queasy Brown took third place, Nicholas Paul was again a problem.
01:17He took the lead position against Haile Marcus of Great Britain, and he could not be caught.
01:22Over the speed coming off the ball, and here they go. Big race here now. Nicholas Paul on the inside.
01:29Haile on the outside. Race over. Race is over.
01:33And he would make it 2-2 after chasing down his opponent.
01:36Keeping tabs on him. Paul goes high. Haile decides he's going to come down.
01:42There goes Nicholas Paul. Just like Queasy Brown, he is trying to get in front.
01:47And once he gets there, it's going to be hard. It's difficult. It's going to be hard.
01:53It's race over. Nicholas Paul in 2th Street.
01:57Paul, still the dominant force in local cycling, as he gathers crucial UCI points at Carnival of Speed.
02:04Sergio Dufour, TV6 Port.
02:05And he's going to be hard.
