No big three just big me is the ambition of this chap.

As Queen's Park batsman Jordan Warner, is hoping to turn his good form this season into a national call up.

Warner has already hit four centuries this season and with all eyes now on the Trinidad T20 Festival he is hoping to use the tournament as stepping stone to the big stage and play franchise cricket.

00:00The Trinidad T20 festival is currently taking place at the Queens Park Oval, where the top
00:04local clubs are vying for the big prize come May 4th. This tournament is sponsored by Trinbago
00:09Knight Riders and the CPL. Part of the objective is scouting for players who have the potential
00:14to go on to bigger things. One of the players participating in this tournament is batsman
00:18Jordan Warner, who is a member of Queens Park Cricket Club.
00:21I've been enjoying it so far. It's a good opportunity for a lot of young players to
00:25get their names out. This year with the CPL and Republic Bank being sponsors, it's a good
00:31opportunity for men to get exposure.
00:33Now 26, Warner has been involved in the sport since childhood. One thing he missed out on
00:39was school's cricket, since he attended Maple Leaf.
00:41Well it's been a long process. I actually would have started in the Queens Park Clinic
00:46coming in as a 5-year-old on a Sunday. And I worked up to the ranks with North Zone and
00:51Queens Park. Played for Nationals under 17-19 and now I'm playing with the club, first team
00:57and trying to get back on to the national team.
00:59Wide ball leagues are taking place around the world, with players in this day and age
01:03gravitating to the shortest formats. So does Warner also want to get to that stage?
01:08Of course, yeah. Everybody wants to play in the CPL. You get the most eyes on you in those
01:13kind of tournaments. That's where the game is going. T20 and even a T10 I think now.
01:19Are there any players you look up to?
01:21Look up to, yeah. Right now you could say Brandon King, Shea Hope, but back in the days
01:27I think Brian Lara was a role model for everybody coming from Queens Park.
01:32After hitting two centuries in this year's domestic three-day competition and one in
01:36the 50-over tournament, Warner has a burning desire to get into the TNT senior men's team.
