00:00In this video, I will show you how to stop Chrome from blocking downloads.
00:05To do this, what you want to do is open up a Google Chrome browser, come up to the top
00:09right hand corner of Google Chrome and click onto the three dots to open this menu.
00:14From here, if you come down and click onto settings and once you're in your settings,
00:18come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto privacy and security.
00:23From here, what you want to do is come and click onto security just down here,
00:27and that's going to take you to a section about safe browsing.
00:30Now, generally the reason Chrome blocks downloads is because enhanced protection is turned on.
00:35So to actually get around this, all you need to do is come down and select the no protection option.
00:40What that's going to do is bring up a window like this to turn off safe browsing.
00:44Just go ahead, click the turn off button and you should now be able to go ahead and download
00:48any documents or files or apps, which was previously blocked by Google Chrome.
00:53So that's how to stop Chrome from blocking downloads.
