00:00In this video, I will show you how to enable camera access on Google Chrome.
00:05So to get started, what you want to do is open up a Google Chrome browser.
00:09And once you've done that, if you come and click onto the three dots in the top right hand corner,
00:13and from this menu that comes up, you want to come down and click onto settings.
00:17Once you're in your settings, come over to the menu on the left hand side
00:21and click onto privacy and security. And then from here, you want to come down to the privacy
00:25and security section, scroll down a bit and then click onto site settings.
00:30Now from here, you'll go and see the permission section.
00:34What you want to do is click onto camera. And the first thing you're going to want to do
00:37is click the dropdown box at the top to choose what camera to use.
00:41So I'm just going to set my inbuilt webcam, which built into my laptop.
00:45Once you've done that, come down to default behavior and make sure you select the option,
00:49which says sites can ask to use your camera. You can also see underneath a list of websites,
00:54which are allowed and not allowed to use your camera. Once you've done that,
00:58come across to the website that you want to enable camera access for.
01:02And then what you want to do is come to the address bar at the top
01:04and click this small icon here, which says view site information.
01:09Once that's done, click onto site settings, and then it's going to take you to the permission
01:13section where you're going to find your camera. And what you can do is change it from ask to allow.
01:18Once you've done that, head back over to the website. And as you can see,
01:21we're going to get a pop-up asking you to reload the page, give that a click,
01:25and that's going to reload the page and allow access to your camera.
