00:00In this video, I will show you how to unblock websites on Google Chrome.
00:05Whether a website was previously blocked, Chrome is restricting access, or you're having
00:09trouble opening a particular site, this guide will show you what to check and how to restore
00:14access.
00:15For more Google Chrome tutorials, Windows tips, and useful tech guides, make sure to

00:22Now there's a couple of things that might be blocking websites from working correctly.
00:26So the first thing you're going to want to do is open up a Google Chrome browser.
00:30And once you've done that, if you come up and click onto the three dots in the top right
00:33hand corner, and from this menu that comes up, you want to come down and click onto settings.
00:39Now once you're in your settings, if you come over to the menu on the left hand side, click
00:43onto privacy and security, and on the privacy and security section, you want to click onto
00:48security.
00:50Now, the first thing you're going to want to do from here is just scroll down and you
00:53want to come down to the DNS provider section, and what you want to do is make sure this
00:57is selected to Cloudflare 1.1.1.1.1.
01:00If it is showing something else, it might be showing like clean browsing or open DNS,
01:05change it to Cloudflare and that should hopefully unblock the website.
01:09Now if that didn't work for you, it's possible you could have an extension installed, which
01:12may be blocking certain websites.
01:14So what you can do is come up to the top of Google Chrome, click onto the extensions icon
01:20just up here, and then what you want to do is come and click onto manage extensions.
01:24You can see for myself, I've got this extension here called block site, which allows you to
01:29block websites on Google Chrome.
01:31So if you do have an extension like this installed, what you can do is simply turn this off by
01:35toggling switch off.
01:36And again, that's going to go ahead and unblock any websites on your Google Chrome browser.
01:41So that is how to unblock websites on Chrome.
01:44Make sure to like comment and subscribe for more Google Chrome and simple tech guides.
01:50And with that being said, I will see you in the next video.
