00:04So there's a couple of things you can try to fix this error and the first thing you're going to
00:08want to do from your desktop is come down to your search box in the task bar at the bottom,
00:13in here type settings and then open up settings underneath best match.
00:17Once you're in your settings come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto network
00:22and internet and then what you want to do is select either Wi-Fi or Ethernet depending on
00:26how you're connected. So for myself I'm going to click onto Wi-Fi and from here you want to click
00:31onto properties and then select private network. The steps are the same for Ethernet as well if you
00:37are connected via Ethernet you just want to change to a private network. Once that's done close this
00:42down restart steam and see if that fixes the problem. Now if that didn't work for you then what I

00:48recommend next is if you are using like a VPN or a proxy network I would recommend disabling this as
00:53sometimes that can cause the error to occur as well and if you're still having problems then
00:58the next thing you can try is opening up steam coming across to your games library and in the
01:03search box you just want to search for steam VR. Now once you've done that right click on steam VR
01:08come and click onto properties and then what you want to do is click onto game versions and betas
01:13on the left hand menu and from here you want to change it from default public version to beta and
01:19once
01:19that's done you can restart the game and see if that fixes the problem. So that's how to
