00:05So if your YouTube is not opening properly in Google Chrome, this tutorial covers some
00:09simple ways to fix YouTube not opening in Chrome and get the website working normally again.

00:24So here we are, as you can see on youtube.com. And as mentioned,
00:28there's a couple of things you can try to fix if YouTube is not opening in your Chrome browser.
00:33So the first fix is if you actually come up to your extensions icon,
00:37which is this puzzle piece icon up here, give that a click. And from this window that comes up,
00:41you want to come down and click onto manage extensions. Now, once you've done that,
00:45what you want to do is just go through and turn off all your extensions. It's possible that an
00:50extension you've installed is interfering with opening websites and things like that.
00:54So what you can do first is try switching these off just by simply clicking the switch for each
01:00extension. And once you've turned off all your extensions, you can then go ahead, refresh YouTube
01:05and see if the website loads successfully. Now, if that didn't work for you, the next thing you can
01:09do is come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome, click onto the three dots up here.
01:14And from this menu that comes up, what you want to do is come down and click onto settings.
01:19Once you're in your settings, if you come over to the menu on the left hand side, and what you
01:23want
01:23to do is come down to the about Chrome section. So that's just down here at the bottom,
01:27give that a click and check that your Google Chrome is up to date. Now, if there is an update
01:32available, then of course, you're going to want to update Chrome from here, which will potentially
01:37fix any bugs or problems and things like that. And by updating Chrome, that can also fix the problem.
01:42And hopefully after doing that, YouTube should now load through. If you're still having problems after
01:47doing this, then if you actually come back into your settings and what you want to do is come over
01:51to the
01:52left hand side, click onto privacy and security. And from here, you want to come to delete browsing
01:58data, give that a click. And from here, if you come up to the top, you want to click onto
02:02more and make
02:03sure you select all time. Once you've done that, you want to delete your data full time, which is
02:07another potential fix. And if after trying all of this, nothing is working and YouTube is still not
02:12working. If you come back into your settings, come over to the left hand side. And in this menu,
02:18you should see an option to reset settings. Give that a click. That's going to take you to a screen
02:23like this. And what you can do is click this option here to restore settings to their original defaults.
02:28It's possible that some settings may have been changed, which is stopping certain websites from
02:32loading. So that's a few things you can try to fix. If YouTube is not opening in your Chrome browser,
