00:00In this video, I will show you how to fix the Google Chrome I'll snap error in Windows 11 or
00:0610.
00:06So there's a few methods I'm going to go through with you which should hopefully fix this problem.
00:10The first thing you're going to want to try is just refreshing the page.
00:13So if you click onto the reload button in the top left hand corner, see if that fixes the problem.
00:18For the second way to fix this, if you come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome,
00:23click onto the three dots and from this menu that comes up, you want to come and hover over extensions.
00:28On the sub menu, click onto manage extensions.
00:32And what you want to do is try disabling all your extensions temporarily.
00:36So you just want to click the switch for each extension to turn it off and then try and reload
00:41the page.
00:41See if that fixes the problem.
00:43Now, if you're still getting the error, then the next thing you can try is coming up and clicking onto
00:48this button here in the address bar where it says view site information.
00:51Then what you want to do is hover over cookies and site data, give that a click and then click
00:56manage on device site data.
00:58Now, what you want to do is basically delete everything from here.
01:01So this is like cookies and temporary cache files.
01:04Once you've done that, you can click done, reload the page and see if that fixes the problem.
01:08Now, if you're finding this is happening on every page that you visit,
01:12then what you can do is click onto the three dots in the top right hand corner of Google Chrome.
01:16From here, you want to hover over history and then click onto open history page.
01:21What that's going to do is take you to this screen here.
01:24From here, come over to the left hand side and click onto delete browsing data.
01:28And then what you want to do is going to bring up a window like this.
01:31You want to make sure you selected cookies and of site data and cached images and files.
01:36If anything else is ticked, you can untick those.
01:38Just make sure these two options are ticked.
01:40What you want to do is come up and click onto more and select all time.
01:43Once you've done that, click onto delete data.
01:46Just give it a minute to delete the data.
01:48And then what you can do is see if that fixes the problem.
01:51And if after trying this, you'll still get in the old snap error.
01:54What you can do as well is if you come and click onto the three dots again,
01:58come down and click onto settings.
02:00And once you're in your settings, come to the bottom left hand corner
02:03and click here where it says about Chrome.
02:06Now, what you can do is make sure your Chrome is up to date.
02:08So if there's any updates available, you can try updating Chrome.
02:11Clicking the button to relaunch your browser and seeing if that fixes the problem.
02:15If after trying this, you're still having problems,
02:18then what you can do is come back into your settings,
02:20come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto reset settings.
02:24Now, you're going to see there's an option here to restore settings to their original defaults.
02:29Give that a click.
02:30That's going to bring up a window like this.
02:31And from here, click onto the blue reset settings button.
02:35Now, hopefully by trying these methods, you should fix that problem.
02:38And the Google Chrome old snap error should be fixed.
