Trump warns of 'horror show' if Iran targets US cities with missiles

President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning about the potential consequences of Iran targeting American cities with missiles, stressing that the U.S. would take such a threat extremely seriously.

Speaking in San Antonio, Texas, Trump pointed to cities including San Diego and Los Angeles while discussing the dangers he believes could emerge if Iran were able to acquire and use nuclear weapons.

Trump said, “You want to see problems—and I said it the other day—let them hit a missile into San Diego or Los Angeles on the way. Let them hit—you want to see a horror show?”

He continued, “You want to see problems, let them hit San Diego, let them hit Los Angeles, and you want to see some bad things happen.”

Trump also warned, “You want to see a country that would be in freefall.”

He added, “We're not going to let that happen. We protect our cities. We protect our country. We're not letting that happen. And they'd use it, too. They'd use it. They would use it.”

The remarks come amid heightened concerns over Iran's nuclear capabilities and the potential threat to American security.
