Country music star Zach Bryan sparked an online debate after appearing on stage at Gillette Stadium in a “Free Palestine” shirt during his Friday night concert.

The choice drew attention because the stadium is owned by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who recently barred rapper Macklemore from performing there following his pro-Palestinian remarks. Kraft had said Macklemore’s broader history of comments and imagery crossed what he considered the venue’s line on hate speech.

Bryan’s band members also appeared to wear clothing supporting the Palestinian cause, adding to the discussion. Social media reactions were divided, with some praising Bryan for making a political statement, while others argued that concerts should remain focused on music rather than politics.

The controversy comes weeks after Macklemore performed “Hind’s Hall” at MetLife Stadium while repeatedly chanting “Free Palestine” as Gaza-related images appeared behind him.

Bryan is scheduled to return to Gillette Stadium for another performance Saturday night, keeping attention on the ongoing debate surrounding artists, politics and live entertainment.
