Tetairoa McMillan delivered a career-best performance as the Carolina Panthers edged the Detroit Lions 32-26 in a high-scoring Sunday Night Football showdown.

McMillan was nearly unstoppable, catching 14 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns while repeatedly finding openings in Detroit’s secondary. His late sideline catch with less than three minutes remaining helped Carolina keep the clock moving and protect its lead.

Quarterback Bryce Young also played a major role in the Panthers’ victory, completing 29 of 41 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Chuba Hubbard added another threat on the ground, rushing for 122 yards and two scores on 20 carries.

Detroit quarterback Jared Goff had an impressive night statistically, throwing for 412 yards and a touchdown on 32-of-52 passing. However, the Lions struggled to turn their opportunities into touchdowns, relying on four field goals before scoring late.

The loss dropped Detroit to 2-2, while Carolina continued to show why its offense could be a serious force in the NFC South. McMillan’s breakout night ultimately stole the spotlight.
