00:04The words of the prophet Ezekiel
00:07Chapter 18, verse 27
00:12When the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness
00:15that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful
00:19and right, he shall save his soul alive.
00:27Dearly beloved brethren, the scripture moves us in sundry places
00:32to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins and wickedness,
00:39but that we should not disassemble nor clave them
00:43before the face of Almighty God our Heavenly Father,
00:47but confess them with a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient heart,
00:54to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same
00:58by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:03And although we ought at all times humbly
01:06to acknowledge our sins before God,
01:09yet ought we chiefly so to do
01:12when we assemble and meet together
01:14to render thanks for the great benefits
01:17we have received at his hands.
01:20To set forth his most worthy phrase
01:22to hear his most holy word
01:26and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary
01:30as well for the body as the soul.
01:35Wherefore I pray and beseech you
01:37as many as are here present
01:39to accompany me with a pure heart
01:42and humble voice
01:44to the throne of the heavenly grace
01:47saying after me
01:51Almighty and most merciful Father
01:54we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
02:00we have followed too much
02:02the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:07we have offended against thy holy laws
02:12we have left undone
02:14those things which we ought to have done
02:17and we have done those things we ought not to have done
02:21and there is no health in us
02:25but thou O Lord have mercy upon us
02:28miserable offenders
02:31spare thou them O God
02:33who confess their faults
02:35restore thou those who are penitent
02:38according to thy promises
02:40declared unto mankind
02:42in Christ Jesus our Lord
02:46and grant
02:47O most merciful Father
02:49for his sake
02:50that we may hereafter
02:52live a godly, righteous and sober life
02:54to the glory of thy holy name
02:58Amen
03:02Almighty God
03:03the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
03:06who desireth not
03:07the death of a sinner
03:09but rather that he
03:11turn from his wickedness
03:12and live
03:13and has given power
03:15and commandment
03:16to his ministers
03:17to declare and pronounce
03:19to his people
03:20being penitent
03:23the absolution
03:25and remission
03:26of their sins
03:28he pardoneth and absolve it all
03:30who truly repent
03:32and unfainly believe
03:34his holy gospel
03:39wherefore let us beseech him
03:40to grant us true repentance
03:42and his holy spirit
03:44that those things may please him
03:47which we do at this present
03:50and that the rest of our life hereafter
03:53may be pure and holy
03:54so that at the last
03:56we may come to his eternal joy
03:58through Jesus Christ our Lord
04:04Amen

18:39for the Lord
18:40is the judge
18:41in all these things
18:42as we have said
18:44to you before
18:45and gave witness
18:47it is God's purpose
18:48that our way of life
18:50may not be unclean
18:51but holy
18:54whoever then
18:54goes against
18:55this word
18:56goes against
18:57not man
18:58but God
18:58who gives his
18:59Holy Spirit
19:00to you
19:02now on the topic
19:04of brotherly love
19:05you have no need
19:06for anyone
19:06to write to you
19:08for you yourselves
19:09are taught by God
19:10to love one another
19:12indeed
19:13you are practising it
19:14to all the brothers
19:15and sisters
19:16throughout Macedonia
19:18but we urge you
19:20brothers and sisters
19:21to do so
19:22more and more
19:23to aspire
19:25to lead
19:25a quiet life
19:26to attend
19:27to your own business
19:28and work
19:29with your hands
19:30as we commanded you
19:32in this way
19:33you will live
19:34a decent life
19:35before outsiders
19:36and not be
19:37in need
19:40now we do not
19:41want you
19:42to be uninformed
19:43brothers and sisters
19:44about those
19:45who are asleep
19:47so that you
19:47will not grieve
19:48like the rest
19:49who have no hope
19:51for if we believe
19:52that Jesus died
19:53and rose again
19:53so also
19:55we believe
19:56that God
19:56will bring with him
19:58those who fell asleep
19:59as Christians
20:01we tell you this
20:03by the word of the Lord
20:04that we who are alive
20:05who are left
20:06until the coming
20:07of the Lord
20:08will surely not go ahead
20:10of those who have
20:11fallen asleep
20:13the Lord himself
20:14will come down
20:15from heaven
20:16with a shout
20:16of command
20:17with the voice
20:18of the archangel
20:19and with the trumpet
20:20of God
20:21and the dead in Christ
20:22will be the first
20:23to rise
20:25then we
20:26who are alive
20:26who are left
20:27will suddenly
20:28be caught up
20:29together with them
20:30in the clouds
20:31to meet the Lord
20:32in the air
20:33and so we will
20:34always be
20:35with the Lord
20:37therefore encourage
20:38one another
20:39with these words
20:41this is the word
20:43of the Lord
20:44thanks be to God
20:53blessed be the Lord
20:54God of Israel
20:55for he hath visited
20:57and redeemed
20:58his people
21:00and hath raised up
21:01a mighty salvation
21:02for us
21:03in the house
21:04of his servant
21:05David
21:07as he spake
21:08by the mouth
21:08of his holy prophets
21:10which have since been
21:11since the world
21:12began
21:13that we should be
21:14saved from our enemies
21:16and from the hand
21:17of all that hate us
21:19to perform
21:21the mercy promised
21:22to our forefathers
21:23and to remember
21:25his holy covenant
21:26to perform the oath
21:28which he swore
21:29to our forefather
21:30Abraham
21:31that he would give us
21:33that would be
21:34delivered
21:35out of the hand
21:36of our enemies
21:37might serve him
21:38without fear
21:39in holiness
21:40and righteousness
21:41before him
21:42all the days
21:44of our life
21:46and thou child
21:47shall be called
21:48the prophet
21:49of the highest
21:50for thou shalt go
21:51before the face
21:52of the Lord
21:53to prepare his ways
21:54to give knowledge
21:56of salvation
21:57to his people
21:58for the remission
21:59of their sins
22:00through the tender
22:02mercy of our God
22:03whereby the dayspring
22:06from on high
22:07hath visited us
22:08to give light
22:10light to them
22:11that sit in darkness
22:12and in the shadow
22:13of death
22:14and to guide our feet
22:16into the way
22:17of peace
22:19glory be to the Father
22:20and to the Son
22:21and to the Holy Ghost
22:23as it was
22:24in the beginning
22:25is now
22:25and ever shall be
22:27world without end
22:29Amen
22:36I believe in God
22:38the Father Almighty
22:40maker of heaven
22:41and earth
22:43and in Jesus Christ
22:44his only Son
22:45our Lord
22:46who was conceived
22:47by the Holy Ghost
22:48born of the Virgin Mary
22:51suffered and the Pontius Pilate
22:53crucified dead
22:55and buried
22:55he descended
22:57into hell
22:58the third day
23:00he rose again
23:01from the dead
23:01he ascended
23:03into heaven
23:04and seated
23:05on the right hand
23:06of God
23:07the Father Almighty
23:08from thence
23:10he shall come
23:11to judge
23:11the quick
23:12and the dead
23:14I believe
23:15in the Holy Ghost
23:16the Holy Catholic Church
23:18the communion
