00:04The words of the prophet Ezekiel
00:07Chapter 18 verse 27
00:12When the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness
00:15that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful
00:19and right, he shall save his soul alive.
00:27Dearly beloved brethren, the scripture moves us in sundry places
00:32to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins and wickedness,
00:39but that we should not disassemble nor clave them
00:43before the face of Almighty God our Heavenly Father,
00:47but confess them with a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient heart,
00:54to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same
00:58by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:03And although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before God,
01:09yet ought we chiefly so to do,
01:12when we assemble and meet together
01:14to render thanks for the great benefits we have received at his hands.
01:20To set forth his most worthy phrase,
01:22to hear his most holy word,
01:27and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary,
01:30as well for the body as the soul.
01:35Wherefore I pray and beseech you,
01:37as many as are here present,
01:39to accompany me with a pure heart
01:42and humble voice
01:44to the throne of the heavenly grace,
01:47saying after me,
01:51Almighty and most merciful Father,
01:54we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep.
02:00We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.
02:07We have offended against thy holy laws.
02:12We have left undone those things which we ought to have done,
02:17and we have done those things we ought not to have done,
02:21and there is no health in us.
02:25But thou, O Lord,
02:26have mercy upon us,
02:28miserable offenders.
02:31Spare thou them, O God,
02:33who confess their faults.
02:35Restore thou those who are penitent,
02:38according to thy promises declared unto mankind,
02:42in Christ Jesus our Lord.
02:46And grant, O most merciful Father,
02:49for his sake,
02:50that we may hereafter live a godly,
02:53righteous and sober life,
02:55to the glory of thy holy name.
02:59Amen.
03:02Almighty God,
03:04the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
03:06who desireth not the death of a sinner,
03:09but rather that he turn from his wickedness and live,
03:14and has given power and commandment to his ministers
03:17to declare and pronounce to his people,
03:20being penitent,
03:23the absolution and remission of their sins.
03:28He pardoneth and absolve it all
03:30who truly repent
03:32and unfainly believe his holy gospel.
03:39Wherefore, let us beseech him
03:40to grant us true repentance
03:42and his holy spirit,
03:44that those things may please him
03:47which we do at this present,
03:50and that the rest of our life hereafter
03:53may be pure and holy,
03:54so that at the last
03:56we may come to his eternal joy,
03:59through Jesus Christ our Lord.
04:04Amen.
04:08Our Father,
04:09which art in heaven,
04:10hallowed be thy name.
04:12Thy kingdom come.
04:14Thy will be done
04:16as it is in heaven.
04:18Give us this day our daily bread
04:21and forgive us our trespasses,
04:24as we forgive them
04:25that trespass against us.
04:27And lead us not into temptation,
04:30but deliver us from evil,
04:32for thine is the kingdom,
04:34the power and the glory
04:36for ever and ever.
04:38Amen.
04:42O Lord, open our lips,
04:45and our mouth shall show forth thy praise.
04:51O God, make speed to save us.
04:55O Lord, make haste to help us.
05:01Glory be to the Father,
05:02and to the Son,
05:03and to the Holy Ghost,
05:05as it was in the beginning,
05:07is now,
05:08and ever shall be,
05:10world without end.
05:13Amen.
05:16Praise ye the Lord.
05:18The Lord's name be praised.
05:24O come, let us sing unto the Lord,
05:26and let us heartily rejoice
05:28in the strength of our salvation.
05:32Let us come before his presence
05:34with thanksgiving,
05:36and show ourselves glad in him
05:38with psalms.
05:40For the Lord is a great God,
05:42and a great King above all gods.
05:46In his hand are all the corners of the earth,
05:49and the strength of the hills
05:50is his also.
05:53The sea is his,
05:54and he made it,
05:55and his hands prepared the dry land.
05:59O come, let us worship,
06:01and hold home,
06:02and kneel before the Lord,
06:04our maker.
06:06For he is the Lord,
06:08our God,
06:09and we are the people of his pasture,
06:11and the sheep of his hand.
06:15Today,
06:16if you will hear his voice,
06:18harden not your hearts,
06:20as in the provocation,
06:21and as in the day of temptation,
06:24in the wilderness.
06:26When our fathers tempted us,
06:29proved us,
06:29and saw our works.
06:33Forty years long,
06:34I was grieved with this generation,
06:36and said,
06:37it is a people that do err in their hearts,
06:39and they have not known my ways.
06:44Unto whom I swore in my wrath,
06:46that they should not enter into my rest.
06:51Glory be to the Father,
06:53and to the Son,
06:53and to the Holy Ghost,
06:55as it was in the beginning,
06:57is now and ever shall be,
07:00world without end.
07:02Amen.
07:10Psalm 24
07:13The earth is the Lord's,
07:15and all that therein is,
07:17the compass of the world,
07:19and they that dwell therein.
07:22For he hath founded it upon the seas,
07:25and prepared it upon the floods.
07:28Who shall descend into the hill of the Lord,
07:31or who shall rise up in his holy place?
07:35Even he that hath clean hands,
07:37and a pure heart,
07:39and hath not lift up his mind unto vanity,
07:42nor sworn to deceive his neighbour.
07:46He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
07:48and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
07:53This is the generation of them that seek him,
07:56even of them that seek thy face so treated.
08:00Lift up your heads,
08:02so ye gates,
08:03and be ye lift up,
08:04ye everlasting doors,
08:06and the King of glory shall come in.
08:10Who is the King of glory?
08:12It is the Lord strong and mighty,
08:15even the Lord mighty in battle.
08:18Lift up your heads,
08:20so ye gates,
08:20and be ye lift up,
08:22ye everlasting doors,
08:24and the King of glory shall come in.
08:28Who is the King of glory?
08:30Even the Lord of hosts.
08:32He is the King of glory.
08:35Glory be to the Father,
08:37and to the Son,
08:38and to the Holy Ghost.
08:39As it was in the beginning,
08:41is now,
08:42and ever shall be,
08:44world without end.
08:46Amen.
08:49Psalm 25
08:53Unto thee, O Lord,
08:54will I lift up my soul,
08:56my God,
08:57I have put my trust in thee.
09:00O let me not be confounded,
09:02neither let mine enemies triumph over me.
09:07For all they that hope in thee
09:08shall not be ashamed,
09:10but such as trunk rest without a cause
09:13shall be put to confusion.
09:16Show me thy ways, O Lord,
09:18and teach me thy paths.
09:20Lead me forth in thy truth,
09:22and learn me,
09:24for thou art the God of my salvation,
09:26and in thee have been my hope
09:29all the day long.
09:32Call to remembrance, O Lord,
09:34thy tender mercies,
09:35and thy lovingkindnesses,
09:37which have been of ever old.
09:41I remember not
09:43my sins and offenses
09:44of my youth,
09:46but according to thy mercy
09:48think thou upon me,
09:49O Lord,
09:50for thy goodness.
09:52Gracious and righteous
09:54is the Lord,
09:55therefore will he teach sinners
09:57in the way.
10:00Them that are meek
10:01shall he guide in judgment,
10:03and such as are gentle,
10:06them he shall learn his way.
10:09All the paths of the Lord
10:11are mercy and truth,
10:13unto such as keep his covenant
10:15and his testimonies.
10:18For thy name's sake, O Lord,
10:20be merciful unto my sin,
10:22for it is great.
10:24What man is he
10:26that feareth the Lord?
10:27Him shall he teach
10:29in the way that he shall choose.
10:32His soul shall dwell at ease,
10:35and his seed shall inherit the land.
10:38The secret of the Lord
10:40is among them that fear him,
10:42and he will show them
10:43his covenant.
10:45Mine eyes are ever looking
10:48unto the Lord,
10:49for he shall pluck my feet
10:51out of the net.
10:57Turn thee unto me,
10:58and have mercy upon me,
11:00for I am desolate,
11:01and in misery.
11:03The sorrows of my heart
11:05are enlarged.
11:06O bring thou me
11:07out of my troubles.
11:10Look upon my adversity
11:12and misery,
11:13and forgive me
11:14all my sin.
11:17Consider mine enemies,
11:18how many they are,
11:20and they bear a tyrannous hate
11:22against me.
11:25Or keep my soul
11:26and deliver me.
11:27let me not be confounded,
11:30for I have put my trust in thee.
11:34Let perfectness
11:35and the righteous dealing
11:36wait upon me,
11:37for my hope
11:38hath been in thee.
11:41Deliver Israel,
11:43O God,
11:43out of all his troubles.
11:46glory be to the Father,
11:48and to the Son,
11:49and to the Holy Ghost,
11:51as it was in the beginning,
11:53is now,
11:53and ever shall be,
11:55world without end.
11:57Amen.
12:01Psalm 26
12:04Be thou my judge,
12:05O Lord,
12:06for I have walked innocently.
12:09My trust hath been also
12:11in the Lord,
12:12therefore shall I not fall.
12:15Examine me, O Lord,
12:17and prove me,
12:18try out my reins
12:19and my heart.
12:21For thy lovingkindness
12:23is ever before my eyes,
12:25and I will walk
12:26in thy truth.
12:28I have not dwelt
12:30with vain persons,
12:31neither will I have fellowship
12:33with the deceitful.
12:35I have hated
12:37the congregation
12:37of the wicked,
12:38and will not sit
12:40among the ungodly.
12:42I will wash my hands
12:44in innocency,
12:45O Lord,
12:46and so will I go
12:48to thine altar,
12:50that I may show
12:52the voice of thanksgiving,
12:53and tell of all
12:55thy wondrous works.
12:58Lord,
12:59I have loved
13:00the habitation
13:01of thy house,
13:02and the place
13:03where thine honour dwelleth.
13:06O shut not up
13:08my soul with the sins,
13:10nor my life
13:12with the bloodthirsty,
13:14in whose hands
13:15is wickedness,
13:16and their right hand
13:18is full of gifts.
13:20But as for me,
13:21I will walk innocently.
13:23O deliver me,
13:24and be merciful unto me.
13:26My foot
13:27standeth right,
13:29I will praise the Lord
13:30in the congregations.
13:33Glory be to the Father,
13:35and to the Son,
13:36and to the Holy Ghost,
13:38as it was in the beginning,
13:40is now,
13:41and ever shall be,
13:42world without end.
13:44Amen.
13:48The Prophet Jonah,
13:50Chapter 1
13:52Now Yahweh's word
13:54came to Jonah,
13:54the son of Amittai,
13:55saying,
13:57Arise,
13:57go to Nineveh,
13:59that great city,
14:00and preach against it,
14:02for their wickedness
14:03has come up before me.
14:06But Jonah rose up
14:08to flee to Tarshish
14:09from the presence of Yahweh.
14:12He went down to Joppa,
14:13and found a ship
14:14going to Tarshish,
14:16and so he paid its fare,
14:18and went into it,
14:19to go with them to Tarshish,
14:21away from the presence of Yahweh.
14:24But Yahweh sent out
14:25a great wind on the sea,
14:27and there was a mighty storm,
14:29so that the ship
14:30was likely to break up.
14:33Then the mariners
14:34were afraid,
14:35and every man
14:35cried to his God.
14:38They threw the cargo
14:39that was in the ship
14:40into the sea
14:41to lighten the ship.
14:44But Jonah had gone down
14:46into the innermost parts
14:48of the ship,
14:49and was lying down
14:50fast asleep.
14:54So the shipmaster
14:55came to him and said,
14:57What are you sleeping for?
14:59Arise,
15:00call on your God,
15:01maybe your God
15:02will notice us,
15:03that we will not perish.
15:07They all said to each other,
15:09Come,
15:10let us cast lots,
15:11that we may know
15:12who is responsible
15:13for the evil
15:14that has come upon us.
15:17So they cast lots,
15:19and the lot fell on Jonah.
15:24So they asked him,
15:25Tell us, please,
15:27for whose cause
15:28this evil
15:29is on us?
15:30What is your occupation?
15:33Where do you come from?
15:34What is your country,
15:36and what people are you?
15:39Jonah replied to them,
15:41I am a Hebrew,
15:43and I fear Yahweh,
15:44the God of heaven,
15:45who has made the sea
15:47and the dry land.
15:50Then the men
15:51were extremely afraid
15:52and said to him,
15:53What have you done?
15:55For the men knew
15:56he was fleeing
15:57from the presence of Yahweh,
15:59because he had told them.
16:02Then they said to him,
16:05What shall we do to you
16:06that the sea
16:06may be calm to us?
16:08For the storm
16:09was growing more
16:10and more stormy.
16:14He said to them,
16:16Take me
16:16and throw me
16:17into the sea.
16:18Then the sea
16:19will be calm for you,
16:21for I know
16:22that because of me
16:23this great storm
16:24is on you.
16:28Nevertheless,
16:28the men rode hard
16:29to get them back
16:30to the land,
16:31but they could not,
16:32for the sea grew
16:33more and more stormy
16:35against them.
16:37And they cried out
16:38to Yahweh
16:38and said,
16:40We beg you,
16:41Yahweh,
16:41we beg you,
16:42do not let us die
16:42for this man's life
16:44and don't lay on us
16:46innocent blood,
16:48for you,
16:48Yahweh,
16:49have done
16:49as it pleased you.
16:52And so they took up
16:53Jonah
16:54and threw him
16:55into the sea
16:56and the sea
16:57ceased its raging.
17:00Then the men
17:01feared Yahweh
17:02exceedingly
17:03and they offered
17:04a sacrifice
17:05to Yahweh
17:06and made vows.
17:09Yahweh prepared
17:10a great fish
17:11to swallow up
17:12Jonah
17:12and Jonah
17:14was in the belly
17:14of the fish
17:15for three days
17:16and three nights.
17:19This is the word
17:20of the Lord.
17:21Thanks be to God.
17:29We praise thee,
17:31O God,
17:32we acknowledge thee
17:33to be the Lord.
17:35All the earth
17:36does worship thee,
17:37the Father everlasting.
17:40To thee,
17:41all angels
17:42cry aloud,
17:43the heavens
17:44and all the powers
17:45therein.
17:47To thee,
17:48cherubim and seraphim
17:50continually do cry,
17:52holy,
17:53holy,
17:54holy,
17:54Lord God of
17:56Surveil,
17:57heaven and earth
17:58are full
17:59of the majesty
18:00of thy glory.
18:03The glorious company
18:04of the apostles,
18:06praise thee.
18:07The goodly fellowship
18:09of the prophets,
18:10praise thee.
18:12The noble army
18:13of martyrs,
18:14praise thee.
18:16The holy church
18:17throughout all the world
18:18does acknowledge thee.
18:20the Father of an infinite
18:22majesty,
18:24thine honourable,
18:25true and only Son.
18:28Also the Holy Ghost,
18:30the Comforter.
18:31Thou art the King of glory,
18:33O Christ.
18:35Thou art the everlasting
18:36Son of the Father.
18:40When thou tookest upon thee
18:41to deliver man,
18:43thou didst not abel
18:44the virgin's womb.
18:46For thou hast overcome
18:48the sharpness of death,
18:50thou didst open
18:51the kingdom of heaven
18:52to all believers.
18:56Thou sittest
18:57at the right hand of God
18:58in the glory
18:59of the Father.
19:01We believe that thou
19:02shalt come
19:03to be our judge.
19:06We therefore pray thee,
19:08help thy servants,
19:09whom thou hast redeemed
19:11with thy precious blood.
19:13make them to be numbered
19:14with thy sites
19:15in glory everlasting.
19:19O Lord,
19:20save thy people
19:21and bless
19:22thine heritage.
19:24Govern them
19:25and lift them up
19:26for ever.
19:28Day by day
19:29we magnify thee,
19:31and we worship
19:32thy name
19:33ever,
19:34world without end.
19:36Thou save,
19:37O Lord,
19:38to keep us
19:38this day
19:39without sin.
19:41Lord,
19:42have mercy upon us,
19:43have mercy upon us.
19:46Lord,
19:47let thy mercy
19:47lighten upon us
19:49as our trust
19:50is in thee.
19:52O Lord,
19:53in thee
19:53have I trusted,
19:54let me never
19:56be confronted.
19:58Glory be to the Father,
20:00and to the Son,
20:01and to the Holy Spirit,
20:02as it was
20:04in the beginning,
20:05is now,
20:06and ever shall be,
20:07world without end.
20:10Amen.
20:15The Epistle to the Ephesians,
20:17Chapters 5 and 6
20:21Wives, be subject
20:22to your own husbands
20:24as to the Lord.
20:26For the husband
20:27is the head of the wife,
20:28as Christ also
20:30is the head
20:31of the assembly,
20:32being himself
20:33the saviour
20:34of the body.
20:35But as the assembly
20:37is subject
20:37to Christ,
20:39so let the wives
20:40also be
20:41to their own husbands
20:42in everything.
20:44Husbands,
20:45love your wives
20:46even as Christ
20:47also loved
20:48the assembly,
20:49and gave himself
20:51up for it,
20:52that he might
20:53sanctify it,
20:54having cleansed it
20:55by the washing
20:56of water
20:57with the word,
20:58that he might
20:59present the assembly
21:00to himself
21:01with glory,
21:02not having spot
21:04or wrinkle
21:04or any such thing,
21:06but that it should
21:07be holy
21:08and without defect.
21:11And so husbands
21:12ought to love
21:12their wives
21:13as their own bodies.
21:15For he who loves
21:17his wife
21:17loves himself,
21:19for no man
21:20ever hated
21:20his own flesh,
21:21but nourishes
21:22and cherishes it,
21:24even as the Lord
21:25does the assembly.
21:28Because we are members
21:29of his body,
21:30of his flesh,
21:31and of his bones.
21:34For this cause
21:35a man shall leave
21:35his father and mother,
21:37and will be joined
21:38to his wife,
21:39and the two
21:40will become one flesh.
21:43This mystery
21:44is great,
21:44but I speak
21:45concerning Christ
21:47and the assembly.
21:49Nevertheless,
21:50each of you
21:51must also love
21:52his own wife,
21:53even as himself.
21:54I'll let the wife
21:55see that she
21:56respects her husband.
21:59Children,
22:00obey your parents
22:01in the Lord,
22:02for this is right.
22:04Honor your father
22:04and mother,
22:06which is the first
22:07commandment
22:07with a promise,
22:09that it may be
22:10well with you,
22:11and you may live
22:12long on the earth.
22:14But you fathers
22:16do not provoke
22:17your children
22:17to wrath,
22:18but nurture them
22:19in the discipline
22:21and instruction
22:22of the Lord.
22:23Servants,
22:24be obedient to those
22:25according to the flesh,
22:27are your masters,
22:29with fear and trembling,
22:31in singleness
22:32of your heart
22:33as to Christ.
22:35not in the way
22:36of service
22:36only when eyes
22:37are on you
22:38to please men,
22:40but as servants
22:40of Christ,
22:42doing the will
22:42of God
22:43from the heart,
22:44with good will
22:45doing service
22:46as to the Lord
22:47and not to men,
22:48knowing that
22:49whatever good thing
22:50each one does,
22:51he will receive
22:53the same again
22:53from the Lord,
22:55whether he is
22:56bound or free.
22:58You masters
22:59do the same things
23:00to them,
23:00and give up
23:02threatening,
23:03knowing that
23:03he who is both
23:04master and yours
23:05in heaven,
23:07there is no
23:07partiality with him.
23:10Finally,
23:11be strong
23:12in the Lord
23:12and in the strength
23:14of his might.
23:16This is the word
23:17of the Lord.
23:18Thanks be to God.
23:29Blessed be the Lord
23:30God of Israel,
23:31for he hath visited
23:33and redeemed
23:34his people,
23:35and hath raised up
23:37a mighty salvation
23:38for us
23:38in the house
23:40of his servant David,
23:42as he spake
23:43by the mouth
23:44of his holy prophets,
23:45which have since
23:46been since
23:47the world began,
23:49that we should be
23:50saved from our enemies
23:51and from the hand
23:53of all that hate us,
23:55to perform
23:56the mercy promised
23:57to our forefathers
23:59and to remember
24:00his holy covenant,
24:03to perform
24:03the oath
24:04which he swore
24:05to our forefather
24:06Abraham,
24:07that he would give us,
24:09that would be
24:10delivered
24:10out of the hand
24:11of our enemies,
24:13might serve him
24:14without fear,
24:15in holiness
24:16and righteousness
24:17before him
24:18all the days
24:20of our life.
24:22And thou,
24:23child,
24:23shall be called
24:24the prophet
24:24of the highest,
24:26for thou shalt
24:26go before
24:27the face of the Lord
24:28to prepare
24:29his ways,
24:30to give knowledge
24:32of salvation
24:32to his people
24:33for the remission
24:35of their sins,
24:37through the tender
24:38mercy of our God,
24:40whereby the dayspring
24:41from on high
24:42hath visited us,
24:44to give light
24:45to them
24:46that sit in darkness
24:47and in the shadow
24:49of death,
24:50and to guide
24:51our feet
24:52into the way
24:53of peace.
24:54Glory be to the Father
24:56and to the Son
24:57and to the Holy Ghost,
24:58as it was
25:00in the beginning,
25:00is now
25:01and ever shall be,
25:03world without end.
25:05Amen.
25:12I believe
25:13in God
25:14the Father
25:14Almighty,
25:16maker of heaven
25:17and earth,
25:18and in Jesus Christ,
25:20his only Son,
25:21our Lord,
25:22who was conceived
25:23by the Holy Ghost,
25:25born of the Virgin Mary,
25:27suffered
25:27unto Pontius Pilate,
25:29crucified,
25:30dead,
25:31and buried.
25:32He descended
25:33into hell
25:34and the third day
25:35he rose again
25:36from the dead.
25:38He ascended
25:39into heaven
25:39and sitteth
25:41at the right hand
25:42of God
25:42the Father Almighty.
25:44From thence
25:45he shall come
25:46to judge
25:47the quick
25:47and the dead.
25:49I believe
25:51in the Holy Ghost,
25:52the holy Catholic Church,
25:54the communion
25:54of saints,
25:55the forgiveness
25:56of sins,
25:58the resurrection
25:59of the body
26:00and the life
26:01everlasting.
26:03Amen.
26:06The Lord
26:07be with you
26:08and with
26:10thy spirit.
26:13Let us pray.
26:15Lord,
26:16have mercy upon us.
26:19Christ,
26:20have mercy upon us.
26:22Lord,
26:23have mercy upon us.
26:27our Father,
26:29which art in heaven,
26:30hallowed be thy name.
26:33Thy kingdom come,
26:34thy will be done
26:36on earth
26:37as it is in heaven.
26:39Give us this day
26:41our daily bread
26:42and forgive us
26:43our trespasses
26:44as we forgive
26:46those who trespass
26:47against us.
26:49And lead us not
26:50into temptation,
26:51but deliver us
26:53from evil.
26:54Amen.
26:57O Lord,
26:59show thy mercy upon us
27:01and grant us
27:03thy salvation.
27:05O Lord,
27:06save the King
27:07and mercifully hear us
27:09when we call upon thee.
27:13Endue thy ministers
27:14with righteousness
27:16and make thy chosen people
27:19joyful.
27:21O Lord,
27:23save thy people
27:24and bless
27:26thine inheritance.
27:29Give peace
27:30in our time,
27:31O Lord,
27:33because there is none other
27:34that fighteth for us
27:36but only thou,
27:37O God.
27:40O God,
27:41make clean
27:42our hearts
27:43within us
27:44and take not
27:46thy Holy Spirit
27:47from us.
27:48We collect
27:49for the 18th
27:50Sunday
27:51of the Trinity.
27:54Lord,
27:55we beseech thee,
27:56grant thy people
27:58grace
27:58to withstand
27:59the temptations
28:00of the world,
28:01the flesh
28:02and the devil
28:03and with pure hearts
28:05and minds
28:06to follow thee,
28:08the only God,
28:10through Jesus Christ,
28:11our Lord.
28:12Amen.
28:19O God,
28:20who art the author
28:21of peace
28:22and lover of concord,
28:23in the knowledge
28:25of whom
28:25standeth
28:26our eternal life,
28:28whose service
28:29is perfect freedom,
28:30defend us,
28:32thy humble servants,
28:33in all assaults
28:35of our enemies,
28:36that we,
28:37surely trusting
28:38in thy defence,
28:39may not fear
28:41the power
28:41of any adversaries,
28:43through the might
28:44of Jesus Christ,
28:45our Lord.
28:47Amen.
28:51O Lord,
28:52our heavenly Father,
28:53almighty
28:54and everlasting God,
28:55who has safely
28:57brought us
28:57to the beginning
28:58of this day,
29:00defend us
29:01in the same
29:01with thy mighty power,
29:03and grant that this day
29:05we fall into no sin,
29:07neither run into
29:08any kind of danger,
29:10but that all
29:11our doings
29:12may be ordered
29:13according to
29:14thy governance,
29:16to do always
29:17that which is
29:18righteous in
29:19your sight,
29:20through Jesus Christ,
29:21our Lord.
29:22Amen.
29:26O Lord,
29:27our heavenly Father,
29:28the high and mighty
29:29King of kings,
29:30Lord of lords
29:31and ruler

29:35who dost from
29:36thy throne

29:37the dwellers
29:38on earth,
29:40most heartily

29:45sovereign king,
29:46King Charles,
29:47and so replenish him
29:49with the grace
29:49of thy Holy Spirit,
29:51that he may
29:52always incline
29:53to thy will
29:54and walk
29:55in thy way,
29:57endu him
29:58plenteously

30:08and overcome
30:09all his enemies,
30:11and finally
30:12after this life
30:13he may attain
30:14everlasting joy
30:16and felicity,

31:05of thy grace,
31:07that they may
31:08truly please thee.
31:10Pour upon them
31:11the continual due

31:14For of this,
31:15O Lord,
31:16for the honour

31:19Jesus Christ.
31:20Amen.
31:24Almighty God,
31:25who has given us
31:26grace at this time
31:27with one accord
31:28to make our common
31:29supplications
31:30unto thee,
31:32and us promise
31:33that when two

31:46most expedient
31:47for them,
31:48granting us

31:57Amen.
