14:28The prophet Hosea chapter 8
14:33Put the trumpet to your lips.
14:36Something like an eagle is over Yahweh's house,
14:39because they have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.
14:44They cry to me, my God, we, Israel, acknowledge you.
14:50Israel has cast off that which is good.
14:54The enemy will pursue him.
14:57They have set up kings, but not by me.
15:01They have made princes, but I didn't approve.
15:06Of their silver and their gold they have made themselves idols, that they may be cut off.
15:13Let Samaria throw out his calf idol.
15:17My anger burns against them.
15:20How long will it be until they are capable of purity?
15:24For this is even from Israel.
15:26A workman made it, and it is no God.

20:05The Epistle to the Galatians, Chapter 3
20:10You foolish Galatians, who has cast a spell on you?
20:17Before your eyes, Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed as crucified.
20:22The only thing I want you to learn from this is this.
20:27Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law,
20:31or by believing that which you heard?
20:34Are you so foolish?
20:37Although you began with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?
20:43Have you suffered so many things for nothing, if indeed it was for nothing?
20:50Does God then give you the Spirit and work miracles among you,
20:54by doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
21:00For just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,
21:06so then, understand that those who believe are the sons of Abraham and the Scripture,
21:13foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith,
21:17proclaiming the Gospel to Abraham ahead of time, saying,
21:21All the nations will be blessed in you.
21:26So then, those who believe are blessed, along with Abraham the believer.
21:31For all who rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse.
21:36Because it is written,
21:38Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law.
21:46Now it is clear, no one is justified before God because of the law.
21:51For the righteous one will live by faith.
21:55But the law is not based on faith.
21:57But the one who does the works of the law will live by the law.
22:03Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.
22:10Because it is written,
22:12Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.
22:15In order that Jesus Christ, the blessing of Abraham,
22:20would come to the Gentiles,
22:22so that we could receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.
22:29Brothers and sisters, I offer an example from everyday life.
22:34When the covenant has been ratified,
22:37even though it is only a human contract,
22:40no one can set it aside or add anything to it.
22:45Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and his descendants.
22:53Scriptures does not say descendants referring to many,
22:58but unto your descendants referring to one who is Christ.
23:03What I am saying is this.
23:06The law that came 430 years later
23:09does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God
23:14so as to invalidate the promise.
23:18For if the inheritance is based on law,
23:21it is no longer based on the promise,
23:24but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise.
23:31Why then was the law given?
23:33It was added because of transgressions,
23:37until the arrival of the descendants
23:39to whom the promise had been made.
23:42It was administered through angels by an intermediary.
23:48Now an intermediary is not for one party alone,
23:52but God is one.
23:55Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God?
23:59Certainly not.
24:01For if a law had been given that was able to give life,
24:04then righteousness would certainly have come through the law.
24:09But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin
24:13so that the promise could be given
24:15because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ
24:19to those who believe.
24:36Now before faith came,
24:40we were held in custody under the law,
24:43being kept as prisoners until the coming faith could be revealed.
24:48Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ,
24:52so that we could be led righteous by faith.
24:56But now that faith has come,
24:58we are no longer under a guardian.
25:01For in Jesus Christ you are all sons of God through faith.
25:05For you were all baptized into Christ,
25:08having clothed yourselves with Christ.
25:13There is neither Jew nor Greek,
25:15neither slave nor free man,
25:17neither male or female.
25:18For all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
25:22If you belong to Christ,
25:24then you are Abraham's descendants,
25:26heirs according to the promise.
25:31This is the word of the Lord.
25:34Thanks be to God.
25:43Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,
25:46for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
25:50and hath raised up a mighty salvation for us
25:53in the house of his servant David.
25:57As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets,
