00:00Hello and welcome back to another video. Today I've been unboxing this. This is a
00:04Tommy pewter but not a small version I've unboxed. This is the full-size version with the key voice
00:09you can probably see. It comes with the remotes but also a bunch of games as well. I'll be opening
00:14these up and having a look to see what's inside them. I think we'll start with some of the games
00:18which is a lot of packages of these. So let's start with this one. What's that? N-A-V-I?
00:38Navi?
00:40I think this is the size of the bags. Actually what may be is might be the description for
00:47a product or maybe some other bags but they've used the bag that the product comes in
00:53and they've resold these. Okay so instead of having to buy a new bag they just reused that bag.
01:02So we have Mahjong, got that one already. Mission attack. Maybe like a 3D space harrier type
01:11moving ground type game like a space shooter game. Monster in. Bomb man and another monster in.
01:19It's not very good that you've got two copies of the same game in the first slot.
01:26Let's move on to these cartridges next. There's quite a lot of cartridges.
01:36This one's a bit interesting. This is Rescue Copter but it's a 3D game.
01:41Oh another 3D game. This is baseball. Interesting that this Tommy Pudak has 3D game and one of them's
01:48baseball games as well. That's a bit interesting. This one's Puyan which I think I've got a bunch
01:55of systems that have this game. We've got MSX. I think I've also got it on the Casio PV 1000.
02:05We've got Scramble which is a Konami shooter game. We've got this old one already.
02:09We have Athletic Land which I definitely already have. Pretty basic game. And we have Frogger.
02:14It's like an actual licensed version of Frogger. Let's put this just here. So it's one duplicate
02:25so far so it's a bit unlucky that the duplicate was in the was in the first bag but so
02:30far no
02:31more duplicates. We do have a few books games as well but it's probably gonna make some of the
02:35duplicates for those. I assume this person probably collected these games over a number of years.
02:43Maybe I'll be going and buying them. It'd be odd to have two copies of the same game which I
02:49know
02:49if you look at these there's still two copies of the two copies of Turpin which is a boxed game
02:54I've
02:54got there. So you'd probably want to buy different games if you're buying them all.
03:14So these aren't for the Tommy pewter.
03:22These are some inserts for the Intellivision.
03:28I'll put those to the side. Not really much use for this.
03:32I've got two copies of Scramble so another duplicate.
03:37We have Mission Attack so another duplicate.
03:40This is going to be lots of duplicates. Night Fight this is a different game although I do already have
03:43a copy of this.
03:50I haven't really mentioned what this system is but basically it's a computer released in the 80s by Tommy
03:56to complete with home computers but also primarily was used for games.
04:01As you can see these are all cartridges for it. All games. I think there might be some non-game
04:05cartridges as well.
04:07But yeah, people use it mostly for games. It does have like some stuff built in here. So some software.
04:12So you can not use BASIC which is the version of BASIC on it. It's unique.
04:15Whereas most systems use an English based version of BASIC.
04:18This actually uses Japanese as the base. So all the commands in most versions of BASIC are English language commands.
04:50These boxes have seen better days. A bit squashed.
05:01Yeah, it's very squashed. So a turpin which we don't have yet here but we do have Mission Attack here.
05:09Where is it? Number nine there. If I open this up, you can't get in that side.
05:15So the games for these you have to open up at the bottom it looks like.
05:19And there's the cartridge. No manual anything in these.
05:23And here's some images on the back for the game.
05:27And it looks like they're not like screenshots or anything or like emulated copies of the game.
05:34Nice like drawings it looks like of what the gameplay looks like which is a bit interesting.
05:40Now we go into this slot. Which is going to have another duplicate looks like as well.
06:09So we have don pad. So that's different here. I thought it was going to be the same as the
06:15pre-end but yeah definitely different game. There's the back of the box. A bit better
06:20condition than those early boxes. Turpin so now another duplicate. And Marine Adventure which
06:25I don't think we've got here. I do have the cartridge already.
06:30Actually that box for that one's pretty good condition.
06:36So if I just go over these now. No Turpin in there. Don Pan, Mission Attacks, a duplicate now.
06:44So these are so far all the duplicate cartridge for this slot. I think most of the other ones are
06:50still duplicates for games I already have. Although I know that the 3D games definitely aren't.
07:00So we'll have a look at the controllers and we'll save the console for the ends.
07:13So these ones are a bit unique. Oh it's longer cables than the other one actually.
07:17The sticker design is a bit different. But they're a bit interesting because we've got this standard
07:23like db9 connector. Although it's actually two controllers that are both connected to it together.
07:29This is the longer cable and on the junior version that I have. I'm not sure with this whether it's
07:37whether those little bits of metal you can see there are the same pins as the inside.
07:41And whether both controllers are using middle part or whether the outside is an additional pin.
07:45And that's what they're doing for the additional controller. I know that there's the Atari Demon
07:50controllers or one of the paddle type controllers on the Atari 2600 that do use the same cable for both
07:56controllers. And last we'll have a look at this. So let's open this up.
08:21And there we are. So it does look in pretty good condition. Although there are some minor marks here.
08:27You can see that's from where the cables have been on top. So that's the plasticizer leaking out and
08:31melting the case of the thing over time. Probably from the controllers. But there's an overall good
08:38good condition. A bit of yellowing on the dust flap. And that doesn't want to close now.
08:43And it's got a power light which I'm not sure whether the junior version does. But cartridge
08:47is labelled. And here's the full keyboard. The other one only had a few buttons on it.
08:52These buttons here I think it was. So you can use some of the basic commands. But this should be
08:56more complete. And I think the full size version also has like a built-in kanji support as well.
09:02Which means some of the games that do use it have the text display on this. Whereas the text isn't
09:06display properly. If you use the junior version. That's a bit of a weird thing that's stuck in there.
09:15I'll go figure that out later. The keyboard feels rubberized. The keys.
09:20The actual play keys are rubberized. But these are more of a hard plastic. These darker keys.
09:26The space bar and the RT button. Here is the bottom of it. You can see some of the components.
09:34Inside. It's 14 watts. Which is quite a lot. This is a full size computer as well.
09:39It's got the controller port there. It's got a. It's got a DIN connector for tape to attach.
09:45It's got audio out. It's a dedicated audio, video and TV. Which is a bit interesting.
09:51I know my computer junior only had the modulated one out I believe. And I had to open it up
09:56and connect
09:57some cables to the RF modulator. To get the audio and video out. But this one also has them built
10:02in as well. So you can either connect your TV. Or you can use a TV tuner for it. So
10:07yes that's a bit
10:07easier for me. And it's also got this IO port here. Which looks like it's a thin piece of painted
10:12metal
10:13over there. It's screwed in. And that's for an expansion card. Which I know there's some multi
10:17cards for this system that use that. And of course on the bottom there's a switch for channels one or
10:21two.
10:21For the RF modulator. Yeah but that is it. That's a quick look at our Tommy pewter. The full size
10:28version as well as a bunch of games. And yeah that's it for this video. If you liked the video

10:34things like this in the future.
