00:00So I'm back and I'm here to unbox the rest of the game that came with that little Nintendo Famicom
00:05briefcase.
00:06Got these ones here. These are the ones that weren't actually in the case, but time to open them up
00:11now.
00:12So this little lot here, which has, well, two cardiares and some manuals, as well as this one, which we'll
00:17go through first, which has the majority of our games.
00:19I'll save the manuals for the end, and there you have a bit of a look through those as well.
00:24I think the best way to open this is probably to get these scissors and to just cut through the
00:30bubble wrap on the side here, so we can sort of pull all the pieces out the side.
00:38Again, unlike some of the previous Famicom watch I bought, this looks like it was from an actual person who
00:43was selling all their old games.
00:44So there's probably some more interesting games in here compared to some of the other watch, which is basically just
00:49whatever the source collected.
00:52So mostly the cheaper games and selling them as a lot.
00:59As such, there's been a lot of duplicates from the original lots I've done, but whereas from the ones I
01:06opened up in that case, there seems to be a lot more games I don't actually have or I don't
01:09really recognize.
01:15So we'll open this up.
01:18I'll just actually cut through here.
01:23That should be a good start for us.
01:27So we'll start with the Nintendo one, Ice Climber, which I think I have.
01:31Pretty common game, you sort of have to do what's like a platformer to work your way up.
01:36F1 Race, I have the Nintendo one, Donkey Kong 3, so a few different Nintendo ones.
01:40I think I do have each of these already.
01:43We have Popeye, which I don't think I actually have the original Popeye, I think I just have the Popeye,
01:47English or Popeye math, whichever one that one is.
01:50Dr. Mario, I definitely do have.
01:51This one's a bit dirty.
01:53So, not so much luck getting games I don't have before, but yeah, let's see what we've got here.
01:58Clue Clueland, I do have, that's a Nintendo one.
02:01We have Final Fantasy, which I'm not sure whether I do have this, the first one.
02:06Anyway, that's a decent one at least.
02:10We have Devil World, which I do not have.
02:13There is also a version of this, it's got the Heartbeat symbol, like the original ones, which I think is
02:18more collectible than this one, but I don't actually have a copy of Devil World, so a decent game to
02:22try.
02:24We've got Space Invaders, which I don't think I have.
02:27Another Taito one.
02:29And then the Bandai one next, what do we have?
02:32It is something, not sure if the characters look familiar, but I'm not 100% sure.
02:37I don't think I do have that one either, otherwise I probably would recognize this specific cartridge.
02:42We have Bomberman 2, which I don't think we have.
02:48This one by Sunsoft, don't recognize this one either, so this is a new one as well.
02:52So, pretty good luck.
02:53The first few were duplicates, but yeah, we're thinking of a bunch of new ones now.
02:58We have Konami Antarctic Adventure, which I do have on the MSX.
03:02I don't think I have the Famicom version.
03:04It'll be interesting to try it out.
03:07Final Fantasy 3, which I don't have.
03:10Flipple, which I don't think I have either.
03:13So, doing quite well now, feeling some interesting games.
03:17We have Dragon Quest 2, which I do have.
03:20We have Lode Runner, which, Bomberman, if you have a look, Hudson.
03:25Lode Runner, I believe, is a prequel.
03:27The first one was made as a prequel to the original Bomberman, I believe.
03:30It wasn't originally made as that, but that's what the Hudson version sort of set up at the end.
03:34Super Mario 3, which we do have.
03:36That's another duplicate.
03:39We have Challenger.
03:40I'm not sure I might have this.
03:42I have played a ROM hack of this.
03:44It was in a multi-cart once, which, interesting game.
03:49But there's another Sunsoft cartridge.
03:51Don't recognize this one, so I think this is a new one as well.
03:53So, going quite well.
03:55We have Castle Excellence, which I actually think I do already have.
04:00Labyrinth, I don't have this one.
04:02Based on the Jim Henson.
04:03That's, well, the puppets, because obviously Jim Henson.
04:06But, yeah.
04:07I see a film.
04:09I feel I have seen that film when I was quite young.
04:12I remember being scary to me, at least.
04:14We've got this game.
04:15I'm not sure what this is, but this is also a new one.
04:19Let's get some more of these out.
04:21We have Might and Magic, which I think, from memory, I'm not 100% sure, is like a sort of
04:28isometric adventure, exploration game.
04:32I'm not 100% sure, though.
04:33This one, I've seen this before.
04:36I can't remember what it's called.
04:37There's something in the name there.
04:39I think it's Bird something, but who knows.
04:41Dragon Quest IV, I do have.
04:43This one, I'm not familiar.
04:45Suguro Quest, so it looks like some sort of board-based game based on the dice there.
04:51I'm not familiar with that game either.
04:54Pac-Man, which we did have a Pac-Man game earlier.
04:56So is that actually a duplicate?
04:58It wasn't Pac-Man, it was Space Invader, wasn't it?
05:00Yeah.
05:02So Pac-Man for the NES Famicom.
05:05Banana, which you're not sure about this.
05:08Sun-Sun, which I played on something else.
05:11This cartridge doesn't look familiar, so I think this is either a different system,
05:15or maybe this is a different cartridge, I'm not 100% sure.
05:18They're very bright red cartridge.
05:22Oh, it looks like we've got a Twinbee in here.
05:26Twinbee 3.
05:28Twinbee games are quite good.
05:30Not really that good.
05:31I keep dying here at the start, but yeah.
05:34Decent Konami series.
05:36This one, which I think might have been in the last slot we looked at.
05:39Oh, this is a very poor-conditioned, four-player Mahjong.
05:45Yeah, it's very dirty.
05:46Then is the original Lode Runner, which...
05:50Was it Lode Runner, or was it whatever the other one was that we just looked at?
05:56Bomberman.
05:58Let's move all of these ones to the side.
06:01It's going to be at the bottom of this pile, isn't it?
06:05Oh, yeah.
06:07Oh, that's what the difference is.
06:08This is Championship Lode Runner, whereas this is the original Lode Runner.
06:12Don't know what the difference actually is.
06:16LR, CR, who knows?
06:18But anyway, different cartridge, so probably a different game.
06:23Let's go through...
06:25Not too many.
06:27Bomberman.
06:28This is the original Bomberman.
06:29I don't recognize this art, so I guess that's a bit unique.
06:33Yeah, that's quite interesting.
06:35I've never seen that before.
06:36Donkey Kong Jr., which...
06:38Again, I don't think I have this one.
06:40I think I just have the Donkey Kong Jr. Math.
06:42Dig Dug 2.
06:44Don't have that one.
06:46And then here we have...
06:49Blanca, which I definitely have.
06:50It's one of the unique ones.
06:51It has a LED, which I do like.
06:54It's a bit interesting, but it's actually very useful if you're testing consoles,
06:57because you can tell whether or not the console is receiving power,
07:00because you need to plug this in.
07:02And if you turn the system on and the light turns on,
07:04you know the system is receiving power,
07:06which is useful because the power supply bar at the back sometimes does break.
07:10Rarely, but it does happen.
07:11And it's a bit hard because there's no LED light or anything on the system
07:15and no BIOS, so you can't tell what's actually going wrong if it's not working,
07:19whether or not maybe the power isn't plugged in
07:21or there's an issue with the power supply
07:23or whether maybe the cartridge isn't working or something like that.
07:26So it is useful to be able to make sure that the system is actually receiving power.
07:31Now the tighter one,
07:32Jack and Pop.
07:33Don't know what that game is.
07:34It's a new one.
07:35And this one, which I think I do have,
07:38because that character does seem familiar.
07:40I'm not 100% sure.
07:41That is all of them in this pile here.
07:44So the next thing to do is to move on
07:48to this little one here.
07:50So it comes in a little bag as well.
07:53We'll cut this open and we'll try not to cut the bag inside
07:57because that could be good to just keep these things together.
08:08And there's a bit of tape here.
08:12There we go.
08:14So Family Trainer,
08:16which I don't think was in this slot at all.
08:19That's a larger cartridge,
08:21so I'm not sure about that one.
08:23I don't think there's a smaller cartridge variant of that.
08:27Now let's see where the cartridge are first.
08:29We have Mario Bros.
08:30This is the arcade version.
08:32Not to be confused with Super Mario Bros.
08:33This is the platformer.
08:34I guess they're both definitely platformers,
08:36but yeah, I don't really like the arcade version
08:39or the arcade game.
08:40We have to jump underneath the blocks
08:42to flip the turtles and that type of thing.
08:44And we've got Galaxian,
08:45which I think we do already have.
08:48So Bomberman 2 manual here.
08:51Oh, I think that's the Atlantis game.
08:54Yeah, it's the Atlantis,
08:56whatever that is, game.
09:02Well, there's that at the back.
09:04We'll leave that.
09:05Use Corporation,
09:05which we saw in the previous slot.
09:07That was in the case.
09:09I think most of these ones probably are.
09:10That's the banana game
09:11we just looked at in this video.
09:15We have the Wrecking Crew,
09:17which we've also gotten.
09:19Dragon Quest 3,
09:19which we just looked at.
09:21That's seen as some better days.
09:22It's actually a pretty big book
09:24compared to some of these Famicom games.
09:26Actually, a Dragon Quest or map as well.
09:30Although it's not really useful
09:32other than the general directions of things.
09:39Put that in there.
09:41And then our Family Trainer,
09:42which I don't think we did get in this slot
09:45or in the previous slot.
09:47We've got some English instructions as well,
09:49which is interesting.
09:52Yeah, it's good.
09:53It's up in English.
09:55This is interesting.
09:57Don't think there'll be many English people
09:58importing this, so
10:00I'm not sure, but yeah.
10:02That's this slot.
10:03It was good.
10:04A few duplicates,
10:05but yeah, mostly new games,
10:06which some of them don't even recognize,
10:07so I'll give it a try at some point.
10:09So that's it for this video.
10:10If you like the video on the video,
10:11comment down below your thoughts,
10:12ideas, views, and subscribe,
10:14to see things like this in the future.
10:34I'll see you next time.
