00:09Essentials Milk Chocolate Cooking Block Compound Chocolate. So obviously this is cooking chocolate
00:16not supposed to be just eaten like a bar but it is significantly cheaper than just a regular bar
00:21of chocolate. This is $2.50 for 275 grams. Normally even when not special a normal bar of chocolate
00:29it's about $5 and those are smaller than this. So I thought I'd try this to compare it to what
00:37I thought
00:37of normal chocolate to see whether this is any good. It looks rather more expensive than this
00:44and recently I have tried some cheap milk chocolate although this is even cheaper than that. Same
00:50price but you get a much larger block. Let's open this up.
01:00Ooh and that just broke down in half there.
01:09So it's definitely the right colour for chocolate.
01:13Let's break a lime.
01:18So it's got an interesting design. It's thicker than a normal bar of chocolate. There's
01:25indents not being very deep but it's a lot softer than the white chocolate so you can easily break it
01:30still.
01:34It's a lot softer than you'd expect for a bar of chocolate. It really breaks down in your mouth
01:39easily so I've just bites right through it. It's got a slight like bitter aftertaste which I guess
01:46is known for chocolate but normally with milk chocolate you don't really get that.
01:54And it almost tastes a bit buttery.
01:59Uh yeah it tastes a bit buttery and it's got a really good bit of aftertaste to it but it's
02:04not bad.
02:06It's good to actually eat this by itself or you could definitely use it for its intended purpose
02:11of using this cooking chocolate. If you wanted some cheap chocolate you could certainly do a lot
02:16worse than this. I would say compared to some of the chocolatey and like cheap like Easter bunnies
02:21and that sort of thing this is better than that just to eat by itself.
02:31Let's have a look at the actual in the bar. It's on the outside it doesn't go all the way
02:36to the
02:37outside of the line. It's got a nice little a grid pattern everywhere else though and there are large
