00:00Hello and welcome to another video. Today I'll be unboxing this. This is a package that
00:09has a few different LCD games. So as you can see we've got a Tamagotchi, and we've got
00:13a Lian. I'm not sure how to say that. So I'm going to open this up and we can have a look
00:19at what's inside. So let's start cutting this open. So we have that package, and we have
00:43the Tamagotchi. So these are in plastic bags. Let's open that up. So here's the Tamagotchi.
00:59So let's cut this one open as well. So one, two, and three. So these are all three units
01:17of the Lian system. And we have this Tamagotchi. So as you can see, Tamagotchi, original virtual
01:25reality pet. And it says Bandai 1996-1997, made in China. Ace and ARP at the top. Looks
01:33like this one is an English language unit. So it says Tamagotchi, feed, select, meal,
01:38lights, play, sick, care, bathroom, health, discipline and detention. So let's open this
01:44up. And inside, we have a manual below there. And this little plastic thing, we have our
01:54Tamagotchi. Got some tape on there. And here it is. Looks like something's worn off there.
02:05Some sticker of some sort. So I'm going to guess this one has definitely been used before.
02:11As I mentioned, the battery is going under here. So let's check the battery on that.
02:16If there are any other batteries that we want to turn on. Doesn't look like there's an on-off
02:22button. So let's take these screws out. OK, one screw. Almost out. And the other screw.
02:46Those batteries look like they've leaked. Let's just empty those into here.
02:54So those batteries aren't in very good condition, but at least the unit itself is undamaged.
03:00Let's put that back on. OK, these need to be tightened up a bit so it goes flush like
03:12it was at the start. Let's put that back in. Put the top on. And let's just put this
03:30unit back in the box. And there we go. I didn't originally notice, there is a window, so let's
03:41have a look at this as well. You can see the unit there, it's got a little sticker on it.
03:45Just so you can see what it looks like in action. And it has a bit of text here as well.
03:50You can pause and read that if you want, but I'm just going to move on.
03:54So here we have these Lijian units. It looks like you can probably save text in them. Some sort of
04:01digital notepad or something. And it looks like it has some other features as well.
04:06So we do have the three units here. Looks like, assuming this is correct, this is the only one that
04:11has a price tag on it, that it would have been quite expensive when it originally released.
04:15So it would have released at approximately $100 US equivalent. And of course this is another system
04:21released by Bandai. Bandai has had a lot of different systems over the years. Of course they've
04:26had Tamagotchi, they've had a number of video game systems as well. You've seen a few of those in
04:30this channel before. So let's open this up.
04:38Okay, and what does it say? I'm just thinking we should have a look at the back first.
04:45So here is the back. It looks like you've got a calendar you can type, or maybe a quiz.
04:53You've got some, I'm going to say fortune telling, and some other thing using dates.
04:58So here is the instruction manual. We have, so it is 1994 this was released.
05:05And this is made in Japan, so not made in China like a lot of them are these days.
05:11So there's the manual. Got a little card to send away. Some other notice.
05:20And we have the system itself. So this looks like it's got two stylus, or two styli I guess,
05:27that would be the word. And we have the units in here.
05:33Looks like it probably would have had two batteries as well, but they're not in there.
05:39Let's open this one up. So there is a number of styluses, another one there.
05:44Well that's not a stylus, that's just a little switch that looks like a stylus to open up the screen.
05:51So I wonder why they come with so many styli. It says touch panel note, so it's a little touch screen notepad.
05:59So we've got some information on the top screen here. And that's a lot of screws on the back.
06:06Let's check the batteries on this one as well.
06:15OK, that should hopefully be enough. Nope.
06:27OK, that's just spinning around now, so it should be fine.
06:36So after a bit of manoeuvring, I did finally manage to get that back off.
06:41So it takes four batteries. I don't think I've seen batteries like this before, so I probably won't be able to test it out.
06:48Maybe in the future if I do get any of these batteries I will be able to test it out, but for now,
06:52that was such a bitty left like this.
06:56So let's put this back in the package.
07:01Of course the batteries would originally go in there.
07:05Just in case this one has been opened in the past and the other ones haven't,
07:10I'll try opening those just in case one of those does have batteries in it.
07:16Hopefully we can check it out then, but I'm not too confident on that.
07:22OK, so those are the ones that have batteries on them.
07:26Too confident on that.
07:28OK, so those are the ones that don't have batteries either, so I guess that'll be it for this video.
