00:00Hello and welcome back to another video. Today if you haven't got this, this is an
00:04audio interface for the computers in XLR but also other inputs as well interface by Yamaha.
00:17Always slide this hour note is wrapped in more plastic though.
00:34There we go, this one isn't new but this is the Yamaha AG-03 Miku edition, which if you
00:42know Vocaloid is basically like a song synthesis type thing, like sing the different songs.
00:53Vocaloid 4 editor for Cubase, assuming that's saying it's included as well.
00:57Don't know what's actually unique, this one is a used version so it might not come with
01:01all the things it originally did. Picture of Hatsune Miku on the front,
01:05short of the actual sound interface, you can see there's a few inputs but there's only one XLR input,
01:10the AG-06 has two XLR inputs but it doesn't have the slidey thing for the audio volume,
01:18it only has knobs, one for each, and there's also the AG-03 Mark II which doesn't come in this
01:24version.
01:25It's very similar although it does have additional, I think dedicated mute button, although that might
01:30be a mute button there, the dedicated mute button at the bottom, so maybe it is basically just a
01:36rearrangement of them, assuming the AG-03 Mark II is probably a bit more advanced and a bit more
01:41updated. But I know it is, because it actually has USB-C on the AG-03 Mark II, we've got
01:46two USB-C
01:47ports, one for power and one for the actual connection to the computer or phone, whatever you're using this
01:53with. You only need to use the additional power one if you're connecting something like a phone that
01:58doesn't have high power that can spread over the cable. This one has micro, I think, a micro mini USB,
02:06probably check that for the additional power cable. A bit of damage there.
02:15Actually, there's a bigger picture on the back, so 48 volts, so that's for the phantom power.
02:20PAD isn't sure what that is, so it doesn't look like there's a mute button that's dedicated on here,
02:25so that is a difference with the Mark II. Let's flip that back over and we can take some stuff
02:32out of it. Oh, it doesn't actually say webcasting is the intended purpose for this one.
02:42Let's open it up. Actually, this is probably where some manual and stuff originally went.
02:48There is the manuals. Does that fit? No, it doesn't fit them. Not sure. Nothing in here though.
02:56Put that to the side. No disks or anything. There is the address. I have actually been to that site,
03:05it does not exist anymore. Cubase AI download information. Ayama, Cubase AI. To download,
03:11go to this address. Access code. Hopefully it hasn't already been used, or if it has already been used,
03:18hopefully you can use it multiple times. Enter the code on the sheet, so let's hope it isn't a part
03:25of an account that you can't access anymore. Pick more specifications, some information. It's 192 kHz.
03:33And then here is the mix and comps. This is the setup instructions.
03:41This is probably the same one as the regular version.
03:45We have the device itself, a bit of dirt on it. Oh yeah, that's hair under there.
03:52We've got these little potentiometers, these little caps which are
03:58some white, like off white now. And there's a teal blue colour for a Miku. Quite weighty.
04:05Probably used a bit of cleaning for this. And at some point take a look inside.
04:13It screws everywhere so it should be easy to take apart.
04:18Geometers, a bit of resistance, this resistor here, the slidey part, actually not very much
04:27resistance at all. Buttons, clicky, this will probably give this at least a little bit of a
04:35clean because it's slightly dirty. See one number at the bottom, Miku sticker, and here is the back
04:42that I mentioned, where it's got, it is micro USB, again more hair, micro USB for the power, which you
04:49only have to use if you plug it into a tablet or phone, I suppose, and we've got the larger
04:54USB 2,
04:55that's USB B, I believe, it's the full-size one, and that's for your computer or your phone,
05:03although I'm not sure if using a phone or tablet, if there are even tablets that have,
05:09but you normally get these cables, they're USB A on the other side, full-size A, it's the regular
05:15USB, so I'm not sure whether you'd be able to plug it in unless you've got some adapter or something.
05:21Laptop's much easier, so here's the actual unit, and there's no CDs or anything under here.
05:32Let's pop this back down at the bottom, so if it comes with all this extra software,
05:38maybe it's been taken out by whoever got it originally, let's try translating this.
05:45So we have Google Translate, we're gonna have a look under here, and it says, we need to actually
05:54pick that up. Let's try to take it off and put it back on, see if that fixes it up.
05:59Has an MEQ trial set included, download version, so it should come with perhaps an MEQ
06:05software, Vocaloid software, but I don't think it does, unless maybe it's somewhere in this other
06:11paperwork, but I imagine it's probably taken out by whoever bought this originally, and in that case
06:16as well, there's no USB cable or anything, which let's say what should be included, USB cable
06:251.5, so there's no USB cable, that information, which is just this one on his manual,
06:30otherwise it's supposed to come separately.
06:34QBase AI, actually might be on this as a download,
06:40Vocaloid editor, let's try checking that up.
06:49So let's say, in the included QBase,
06:53contains access code required software, cannot be reissued, please keep it safe.
06:57Code is there, and this one says, settings, trial, you need to download and install software,
07:03let's go to that website, initial step must be performed.
07:07It says download and install driver, download and install QBase AI from that address,
07:11and then this one is, some reason it's not wanting to download anymore, but I assume it's saying go to
07:18that website for the software, so I'm not sure if when I tried it before that website doesn't exist
07:23anymore, whether these other ones, these exist, whether it's going to be possible to get the
07:27software for this anymore. I think the only thing to do now, I'm not going to actually plug it in
07:32and test
07:32it out, but we can get a cable, let's try plugging in, it's an XLR cable, just added XLR cable.
07:43It's a bit loose that, you know we've got an XLR cable in it. Now, obviously not going to light
07:50up
07:50because you haven't plugged the power in, and obviously on that other side of this, you would
07:55attach it to a microphone, just like that. Hey, but that's it for this video, if you like the video,
08:02comment down below your thoughts, ideas, views, and subscribes, or something like this, in the future.
08:25I'll see you next time.
