00:00In this video, you quickly learn how to use a different filament source for your supports.
00:07You see this model has four different colors of PLA filament.
00:14The supports are set to automatic tree supports.
00:18Let's preview the model to see what it looks like.
00:21All supports are printed in the same filament as the model itself.
00:29So when the model is printed in white, the supports are also printed in white.
00:35The model and the supports are printed in exactly the same filaments.
00:39To add a new filament for the supports, click on this plus button.
00:44And you see a new yellow filament source appear.
00:49After this, go to the Support tab.
00:53And go to Filament for Supports.
00:56For the base and the interface, select the new filament you just added.
01:00The base is the support itself.
01:03And the interface is where the supports are hitting the model.
01:08Let's preview the model again.
01:16And you see all supports are yellow.
01:21In this example, it's set to yellow PLA.
01:26But you can also change it to Soluble Filament, for example.
01:29Or just select that filament when you start your 3D print.
