00:04The first epistle of St. John chapter 1 verses 8 and 9
00:12If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
00:19But if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
00:26from all unrighteousness.
00:31Dearly beloved brethren, the scripture moves us in sundry places to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins and wickedness.
00:42But that we should not disassemble nor clave them before the face of almighty God our heavenly Father.
00:51But confess them with a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient heart to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of
01:02the same by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:07And although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before God, yet ought we chiefly so to
01:15do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits we have received at his hands.
01:23To set forth his most worthy praise, to hear his most holy word, and to ask those things which are
01:32requisite and necessary, as well for the body as the soul.
01:39Wherefore I pray and beseech you, as many as are here present, to accompany me with a pure heart and
01:47humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace, saying after me.
01:55Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep.
02:04We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.
02:11We have offended against thy holy laws.
02:16We have left undone those things which we ought to have done.
02:21And we have done those things we ought not to have done.
02:25And there is no health in us.
02:29But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders.
02:35Spare thou them, O God, who confess their faults.
02:39Restore thou those who are penitent,
02:43according to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord.
02:50And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life.
02:59To the glory of thy holy name.
03:03Amen.
03:06Almighty God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who desireth not the death of a sinner,
03:13but rather that he turn from his wickedness and live,
03:18and has given power and commandment to his ministers to declare and pronounce to his people,
03:24being penitent, the absolution and remission of their sins.
03:32He pardoneth and absolve it all who truly repent and unfainly believe his holy gospel.
03:43Wherefore, let us beseech him to grant us true repentance and his holy spirit,
03:49that those things may please him which we do at this present,
03:54and that the rest of our life hereafter may be pure and holy,
03:58so that at the last we may come to his eternal joy.

13:49Again in the ninth year,
13:50in the tenth month,
13:51in the tenth day of the month,
13:53Yahweh's word came to me, saying,
13:56Son of man, write the name of the day,
13:58this same day.
14:01The king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem
14:03this same day.
14:05Utter a parable to the rebellious house,
14:08and tell them,
14:08Thus says the Lord Yahweh,
14:10Put the cauldron on the fire,
14:12put it on,
14:13and also pour water into it.
14:15Gather its pieces into it,
14:17even every good piece,
14:19the thigh and the shoulder.
14:21Fill it with the choice bones.
14:24Take the choice of the flock,
14:25and also a pile of wood
14:26for the bones under the cauldron.
14:29Make it boil well,
14:30yes, let its bones be boiled within it.
14:35Therefore, thus says the Lord Yahweh,
14:37Woe to the blooded city,
14:39to the cauldron whose rust is in it,
14:42and whose rust hasn't gone out of it.
14:45Take out of it piece after beats.
14:48No lot has fallen into it.
14:51For her blood is in the middle of her.
14:53She set it on the bare rock.
14:55She didn't pour it on the ground
14:57to cover it with dust.
14:59That it may cause wrath
15:00to come up to take vengeance,
15:02I have set her blood on the bare rock
15:04that it should not be covered.
15:07Therefore, thus says the Lord Yahweh,
15:09Woe to the bloody city.
15:11I will make the pile green.
15:13Great.
15:14Heap on the wood,
15:15make the fire hot,
15:16boil the meat well,
15:18make the broth thick,
15:19and let the bones be burnt.
15:22Then set it empty on its coals,
15:24that it may be hot,
15:25and its brass may burn,
15:28that its filthiness
15:29may be molten in it,
15:31and that its rust may be consumed.
15:35She is weary with toil,
15:37and yet her great rust,
15:38rust by fire,
15:39does not leave her.
15:42In your filthiness is lewdness,
15:44because I have cleansed you,
15:46and you weren't cleansed.
15:47You won't be cleansed
15:48from your filthiness anymore,
15:50until I have caused my wrath
15:52towards you to rest.
15:54I, Yahweh, have spoken it.
15:56It will happen that I will do it.
15:57I won't go back,

16:13I will take away from you
16:14the desire of your eyes

16:28Bind your headdress on you
16:29and put shoes on your feet.

16:35So I spoke to the people

16:38my wife had died.

16:44The people asked me,

16:47what these things are to us,

16:59I will profane my sanctuary

21:11to the Corinthians,
21:13chapter 15.
21:15I want to make clear to you,
21:18brothers and sisters,
21:19the gospel I preached to you,
21:21that you received
21:22and on which you stand
21:23and by which you are being saved,
21:26if you hold firmly
21:27to the message I preached to you,
21:30unless you believed in vain.
21:32For I passed on to you,
21:34as of first importance,
21:35what I also received,
21:37that Christ died for our sins
21:40according to the scripture,
21:41and that he was buried,
21:43that he was raised on the third day
21:45according to the scriptures,
21:47that he appeared to Cephas
21:49and then to the twelve.
21:51Then he appeared to more than five hundred
21:54of the brothers and sisters at one time,
21:56most of whom are still alive,
21:58although some have fallen asleep.
22:01Then he appeared to James
22:02and then all the apostles.

22:07as though to one born at the wrong time,

22:12For I am the least of the apostles,
22:14unworthy to be called an apostle,
22:17because I persecuted the church of God.
22:21But by the grace of God,
22:23I am what I am,
22:24and his grace to me
22:26has not been in vain.
22:28In fact,
22:29I've probably worked harder
22:30than all of them,
22:31yet not I,
22:32but the grace of God within me.
22:35Whether then it was I or they,
22:37this is the way we preach,
22:38and this is the way you believed.
22:42Now,
22:42if the good news says
22:43that Christ came back from the dead,
22:46how is it that some of you say
22:47there is no coming back from the dead?
22:51If there is no coming back from the dead,
22:53then Christ has not come back from the dead.
22:55If Christ did not come back from the dead,
22:58then our good news and your faith
23:00are of no effect.
23:03Yes,
23:03and we are seen to be false witnesses of God,
23:06because we give witness of God
23:08that by his power,
23:09Christ came back from the dead,
23:12which cannot be true
23:14if there is no coming back from the dead.
23:17For if it is not possible
23:18for the dead to come back to life again,
23:21then indeed Christ has not
23:23come back to life again.
23:26If that is so,
23:27then your faith is of no effect.
23:29You must still be in sin.
23:32In addition,
23:33those who have died in Christ
23:35have gone to destruction.
23:37if in this life
23:39only we have hope in Christ.
23:42We are of all men
23:43truly the most unhappy.
23:47But we know
23:48that Christ has been raised from the dead,
23:51the firstfruits of those
23:53who have fallen asleep.
23:55For since death came through a man,
23:57the resurrection of the dead
23:58also came through a man.
24:02Just as in Adam all die,
24:04so also in Christ
24:05all will be made alive,
24:08but each in his own order.
24:11Christ the firstfruits,
24:12then when Christ comes,
24:14those who belong to him.
24:16Then comes the end,
24:17when he hands over
24:18the kingdom of God
24:20to the Father,
24:21when he has brought to an end
24:23all rule and authority
24:24and power.
24:26For he must reign
24:27until he has put
24:28all his enemies
24:29under his feet.
24:32The last enemy of all
24:33to be eliminated
24:34is death.
24:36For he has made
24:37everything subject
24:38under his feet.
24:40But when it says
24:41everything has been
24:42put in subjection,
24:43it is clear that
24:45this does not include
24:46the one
24:47who put everything
24:49in subjection
24:50to him.
24:53This is the word
24:54of the Lord.
